Amós 1

(Dies sind) die Worte, welche Amos, einer von den Herdenbesitzern von Thekoa, über Israel geschaut hat zur Zeit des judäischen Königs Ussia und zur Zeit des israelitischen Königs Jerobeam, des Sohnes des Joas, zwei Jahre vor dem Erdbeben.

LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Es lauteten aber seine Worte so: »Wenn der HERR vom Zion her brüllt und aus Jerusalem seine Stimme erschallen läßt, da trauern die Auen der Hirten, und der Gipfel des Karmels verdorrt.«

Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Wegen der drei, ja vier Freveltaten von Damaskus mache ich es nicht rückgängig! Weil sie Gilead mit eisenschneidigen Dreschwalzen gedroschen haben,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

will ich Feuer in das Haus Hasaels schleudern: das soll die Paläste Ben-Hadads verzehren.

Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Benhadad.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

Und ich will den Riegel von Damaskus zerbrechen und die Bewohner ausrotten aus Bikath-Awen und den Zepterträger aus Beth-Eden; und das Syrervolk soll nach Kir zurückwandern« – der HERR hat es ausgesprochen.

Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Wegen der drei, ja vier Freveltaten von Gaza mache ich es nicht rückgängig! Weil sie Gefangene, ganze Ortschaften weggeschleppt haben, um sie als Sklaven an die Edomiter auszuliefern,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

will ich Feuer an die Ringmauer von Gaza schleudern: das soll die Paläste der Stadt verzehren;

Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

auch will ich die Bewohner aus Asdod ausrotten und den Zepterträger auch aus Askalon, und ich will meine Hand gegen Ekron wenden, daß auch der letzte Rest der Philister umkommen soll« – Gott der HERR hat es ausgesprochen.

Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Wegen der drei, ja vier Freveltaten von Tyrus mache ich es nicht rückgängig! Weil sie Gefangene, ganze Ortschaften, an die Edomiter ausgeliefert haben, ohne des Bruderbundes zu gedenken,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant;

So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Wegen der drei, ja vier Freveltaten der Edomiter mache ich es nicht rückgängig! Weil sie ihr Brudervolk mit dem Schwerte verfolgt und ihr Mitgefühl erstickt haben, weil sie ihrem Zorn immerfort freien Lauf gelassen und an ihrem Ingrimm beständig festgehalten haben,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever;

will ich Feuer gegen Theman schleudern: das soll die Paläste von Bozra verzehren.«

Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”

So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Wegen der drei, ja vier Freveltaten der Ammoniter mache ich es nicht rückgängig! Weil sie die schwangeren Frauen in Gilead aufgeschlitzt haben, um ihr Gebiet zu erweitern,

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.

will ich Feuer an die Ringmauer von Rabba anlegen: das soll die Paläste der Stadt verzehren unter Kriegsgeschrei am Tage der Schlacht, beim Sturm am Tage des Unwetters;

Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

und ihr König soll in die Verbannung wandern, er mitsamt seinen Fürsten« – der HERR hat es ausgesprochen.

Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.

And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
