Amós 2

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : à cause de trois crimes de Moab, même à cause de quatre, je ne rappellerai point cela ; mais je le ferai parce qu’il a brûlé les os du Roi d’Edom, jusqu’à les calciner.

ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Moab, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque quemó los huesos del rey de Idumea hasta tornarlos en cal.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;

Et j’enverrai le feu en Moab, et il dévorera les palais de Kérijoth ; et Moab mourra dans le tumulte, dans l’alarme, et au bruit du cor.

Y meteré fuego en Moab, y consumirá los palacios de Chêrioth: y morirá Moab en alboroto, en estrépito y sonido de trompeta.

But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

Et j’exterminerai les Gouverneurs du milieu de son pays ; et je tuerai ensemble avec lui tous les principaux du pays, a dit l’Eternel.

Y quitaré el juez de en medio de él, y mataré con él á todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová.

And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.

and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says the LORD.

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : à cause de trois crimes de Juda, même à cause de quatre, je ne rappellerai point cela ; mais je le ferai parce qu’ils ont rejeté la Loi de l’Eternel, et n’ont point gardé ses statuts ; mais leurs mensonges, lesquels leurs pères avaient suivis, les ont fait égarer.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Judá, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque menospreciaron la ley de Jehová, y no guardaron sus ordenanzas; é hiciéronlos errar sus mentiras, en pos de las cuales anduvieron sus padres.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected the LORD’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;

Et j’enverrai le feu en Juda, et il dévorera les palais de Jérusalem.

Meteré por tanto fuego en Judá, el cual consumirá los palacios de Jerusalem.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : à cause de trois crimes d’Israël, même à cause de quatre, je ne rappellerai point cela ; mais je le ferai parce qu’ils ont vendu le juste pour de l’argent, et le pauvre pour une paire de souliers ;

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Israel, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque vendieron por dinero al justo, y al pobre por un par de zapatos:

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;

Soupirant après la poussière de la terre pour la jeter sur la tête des chétifs ; et ils pervertissent la voie des débonnaires ; et le fils et le père s’en vont à une même jeune fille, pour profaner le Nom de ma sainteté.

Que anhelan porque haya polvo de tierra sobre la cabeza de los pobres, y tuercen el camino de los humildes: y el hombre y su padre entraron á la misma moza, profanando mi santo nombre.

That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.

Et se couchent près de tout autel, sur les vêtements qu’ils ont pris en gage, et boivent dans la maison de leurs dieux le vin des condamnés.

Y sobre las ropas empeñadas se acuestan junto á cualquier altar; y el vino de los penados beben en la casa de sus dioses.

And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

J’ai pourtant détruit devant eux l’Amorrhéen, dont la hauteur était comme la hauteur des cèdres, et qui était fort comme les chênes ; et j’ai ruiné son fruit par-dessus, et ses racines par-dessous.

Y yo destruí delante de ellos al Amorrheo, cuya altura era como la altura de los cedros, y fuerte como un alcornoque; y destruí su fruto arriba, sus raíces abajo.

Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

Je vous ai aussi tirés du pays d’Egypte, et je vous ai conduits par le désert durant quarante ans, afin que vous possédassiez le pays de l’Amorrhéen.

Y yo os hice á vosotros subir de la tierra de Egipto, y os traje por el desierto cuarenta años, para que poseyeseis la tierra del Amorrheo.

Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

Davantage, j’ai suscité quelques-uns d’entre vos fils pour être Prophètes, et quelques-uns d’entre vos jeunes gens pour être Nazariens ; n’est-il pas ainsi, enfants d’Israël ; dit l’Eternel ?

Y levanté de vuestros hijos para profetas, y de vuestros mancebos para que fuesen Nazareos. ¿No es esto así, dice Jehová, hijos de Israel?

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says the LORD.

Mais vous avez fait boire du vin aux Nazariens, et vous avez commandé aux Prophètes, et leur avez dit : Ne prophétisez plus.

Mas vosotros disteis de beber vino á los Nazareos; y á los profetas mandasteis, diciendo: No profeticéis.

But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

“But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘Don’t prophesy!’

Voici, je m’en vais fouler le lieu où vous habitez, comme un chariot plein de gerbes foule tout par où il passe.

Pues he aquí, yo os apretaré en vuestro lugar, como se aprieta el carro lleno de haces;

Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.

Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.

Tellement que l’homme léger ne pourra point fuir, et le fort ne pourra pas faire usage de sa vigueur, et le vaillant ne sauvera point sa vie.

Y la huída perecerá del ligero, y el fuerte no esforzará su fuerza, ni el valiente librará su vida;

Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

Flight will perish from the swift. The strong won’t strengthen his force. The mighty won’t deliver himself.

Et celui qui manie l’arc, ne pourra point demeurer ferme ; et celui qui est léger à la course n’échappera point ; et l’homme de cheval ne sauvera point sa vie.

Y el que toma el arco no resistirá, ni escapará el ligero de pies, ni el que cabalga en caballo salvará su vida.

Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.

Et le plus courageux entre les hommes forts s’enfuira tout nu en ce jour- là, dit l’Eternel. Retournez au Début

El esforzado entre esforzados huirá desnudo aquel día, dice Jehová.

And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.

He who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day,” says the LORD.
