Amós 2

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés de Moab que Je le prendrai en aversion, c'est parce qu'il a brûlé les os du roi de l'Idumée, jusqu'à les réduire en poudre.

ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Moab, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque quemó los huesos del rey de Idumea hasta tornarlos en cal.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;

Et Je lancerai la flamme sur Moab ; et elle dévorera les fondations de ses villes, et Moab périra dans l'impuissance, au milieu des cris et au son des trompettes.

Y meteré fuego en Moab, y consumirá los palacios de Chêrioth: y morirá Moab en alboroto, en estrépito y sonido de trompeta.

But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

Et Je détruira son juge, et J'exterminerai ses princes avec lui, dit le Seigneur.

Y quitaré el juez de en medio de él, y mataré con él á todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová.

And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.

and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says the LORD.

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés des fils de Juda que Je les prendrai en aversion, c'est parce qu'ils ont répudié la loi du Seigneur, et qu'ils n'ont point gardé les commandements, et que les vaines idoles qu'ils avaient fabriquées et qu'avaient suivies leurs pères les ont eux-mêmes égarés.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Judá, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque menospreciaron la ley de Jehová, y no guardaron sus ordenanzas; é hiciéronlos errar sus mentiras, en pos de las cuales anduvieron sus padres.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected the LORD’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;

Et Je lancerai la flamme sur Juda, et elle dévorera les fondations de Jérusalem.

Meteré por tanto fuego en Judá, el cual consumirá los palacios de Jerusalem.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Ce n'est point à cause des triples et quadruples impiétés d'Israël que Je le prendrai en aversion ; c'est parce qu'il a livré le juste à prix d'argent, et le pauvre pour des sandales

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Israel, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque vendieron por dinero al justo, y al pobre por un par de zapatos:

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;

que l'on traîne dans la poussière des chemins ; c'est parce qu'ils ont frappé du poing la tête de l'indigent, qu'ils ont fait dévier le faible, et que le fils et le père ont eu la même concubine, afin de profaner le Nom de leur Dieu,

Que anhelan porque haya polvo de tierra sobre la cabeza de los pobres, y tuercen el camino de los humildes: y el hombre y su padre entraron á la misma moza, profanando mi santo nombre.

That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.

et parce que, liant avec des cordes leurs manteaux, ils en ont voilé l'autel, et bu le vin des calomnies, dans le temple de leur Dieu.

Y sobre las ropas empeñadas se acuestan junto á cualquier altar; y el vino de los penados beben en la casa de sus dioses.

And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

Cependant c'est Moi qui ai, devant leur face, chassé l'Amorrhéen d'où il était ; sa taille était celle du cèdre, sa force celle du chêne ; et J'ai desséché ses fruits au-dessus de la terre, et ses racines au-dessous.

Y yo destruí delante de ellos al Amorrheo, cuya altura era como la altura de los cedros, y fuerte como un alcornoque; y destruí su fruto arriba, sus raíces abajo.

Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

Et vous, Je vous ai ramenés de la terre d'Égypte, et Je vous ai conduits çà et là dans le désert, pendant quarante ans, pour vous donner ensuite en héritage la terre des Amorrhéens.

Y yo os hice á vosotros subir de la tierra de Egipto, y os traje por el desierto cuarenta años, para que poseyeseis la tierra del Amorrheo.

Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

Et J'ai pris de vos fils pour en faire des prophètes, et de vos jeunes enfants pour Me les consacrer ; tout cela n'est-il pas vrai, fils d'Israël ? dit le Seigneur.

Y levanté de vuestros hijos para profetas, y de vuestros mancebos para que fuesen Nazareos. ¿No es esto así, dice Jehová, hijos de Israel?

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says the LORD.

Et vous faites boire du vin aux Nazaréens, et vous donnez des ordres aux prophètes, disant : Ne prophétisez pas !

Mas vosotros disteis de beber vino á los Nazareos; y á los profetas mandasteis, diciendo: No profeticéis.

But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

“But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘Don’t prophesy!’

Et, à cause de cela, voilà que Je vais rouler sur vous, comme un chariot rempli de paille.

Pues he aquí, yo os apretaré en vuestro lugar, como se aprieta el carro lleno de haces;

Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.

Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.

Et il n'y aura pas de fuite pour le coureur, et le fort ne pourra se prévaloir de sa force, et le guerrier ne sauvera pas sa vie ;

Y la huída perecerá del ligero, y el fuerte no esforzará su fuerza, ni el valiente librará su vida;

Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

Flight will perish from the swift. The strong won’t strengthen his force. The mighty won’t deliver himself.

et l'archer ne résistera pas, et l'homme aux pieds légers ne saura s'échapper, et le cavalier ne sauvera pas sa vie.

Y el que toma el arco no resistirá, ni escapará el ligero de pies, ni el que cabalga en caballo salvará su vida.

Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.

Et le fort ne mettra plus son cœur en ses forces ; et, nu, il s'enfuira en ce jour, dit le Seigneur.

El esforzado entre esforzados huirá desnudo aquel día, dice Jehová.

And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.

He who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day,” says the LORD.
