Amós 2

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei und wegen vier Übertretungen Moabs wende ich solches nicht ab, weil sie die Gebeine des Königs von Edom zu Kalk verbrannt haben;

ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Moab, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque quemó los huesos del rey de Idumea hasta tornarlos en cal.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;

darum will ich ein Feuer nach Moab senden, das die Paläste von Kerijot verzehren soll; und Moab soll sterben im Getümmel, im Kriegslärm und beim Posaunenschall;

Y meteré fuego en Moab, y consumirá los palacios de Chêrioth: y morirá Moab en alboroto, en estrépito y sonido de trompeta.

But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

und ich will den Richter aus seiner Mitte vertilgen und alle seine Fürsten mit ihm umbringen, spricht der HERR.

Y quitaré el juez de en medio de él, y mataré con él á todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová.

And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.

and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says the LORD.

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei und wegen vier Übertretungen Judas wende ich solches nicht ab, weil sie das Gesetz des HERRN verachtet und seine Satzungen nicht beobachtet haben, sondern sich durch ihre Lügen verführen ließen, welchen schon ihre Väter nachgefolgt sind;

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Judá, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque menospreciaron la ley de Jehová, y no guardaron sus ordenanzas; é hiciéronlos errar sus mentiras, en pos de las cuales anduvieron sus padres.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected the LORD’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;

darum will ich ein Feuer nach Juda senden, welches die Paläste Jerusalems verzehren soll.

Meteré por tanto fuego en Judá, el cual consumirá los palacios de Jerusalem.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei und wegen vier Übertretungen Israels wende ich solches nicht ab, weil sie den Gerechten um Geld und den Armen für ein Paar Schuhe verkaufen;

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Israel, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque vendieron por dinero al justo, y al pobre por un par de zapatos:

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;

weil sie nach dem Erdenstaub auf den Köpfen der Geringen gierig sind und die Wehrlosen vom Wege stoßen; weil Vater und Sohn zur Dirne gehen, um meinen heiligen Namen zu entheiligen;

Que anhelan porque haya polvo de tierra sobre la cabeza de los pobres, y tuercen el camino de los humildes: y el hombre y su padre entraron á la misma moza, profanando mi santo nombre.

That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.

und auf Kleidern, die sie zum Pfand genommen, strecken sie sich aus neben jedem Altar und vertrinken Bußengelder im Hause ihrer Götter!

Y sobre las ropas empeñadas se acuestan junto á cualquier altar; y el vino de los penados beben en la casa de sus dioses.

And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

Und doch habe ich den Amoriter vor ihnen her ausgerottet, der so hoch war wie die Zedern und so stark wie die Eichen; ich habe oben seine Frucht und unten seine Wurzel vertilgt;

Y yo destruí delante de ellos al Amorrheo, cuya altura era como la altura de los cedros, y fuerte como un alcornoque; y destruí su fruto arriba, sus raíces abajo.

Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

und ich war es, der euch aus dem Lande Ägypten heraufgebracht und euch vierzig Jahre lang in der Wüste geleitet hat bis zur Einnahme des Landes der Amoriter;

Y yo os hice á vosotros subir de la tierra de Egipto, y os traje por el desierto cuarenta años, para que poseyeseis la tierra del Amorrheo.

Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

und ich habe aus euren Söhnen Propheten erweckt und aus euren Jünglingen Nasiräer; oder ist es etwa nicht so, ihr Kinder Israel? spricht der HERR.

Y levanté de vuestros hijos para profetas, y de vuestros mancebos para que fuesen Nazareos. ¿No es esto así, dice Jehová, hijos de Israel?

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says the LORD.

Ihr aber gabt den Nasiräern Wein zu trinken und befahlt den Propheten: Ihr sollt nicht weissagen!

Mas vosotros disteis de beber vino á los Nazareos; y á los profetas mandasteis, diciendo: No profeticéis.

But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

“But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘Don’t prophesy!’

Seht, ich will eine Last auf euch legen, wie die eines Wagens, der voller Garben ist.

Pues he aquí, yo os apretaré en vuestro lugar, como se aprieta el carro lleno de haces;

Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.

Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.

Da wird dem Schnellen das Fliehen vergehen und dem Starken seine Kraft versagen, und der Held wird seine Seele nicht retten können,

Y la huída perecerá del ligero, y el fuerte no esforzará su fuerza, ni el valiente librará su vida;

Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

Flight will perish from the swift. The strong won’t strengthen his force. The mighty won’t deliver himself.

und der Bogenschütze wird nicht standhalten und der Leichtfüßige nicht entrinnen und der Richter seine Seele nicht erretten;

Y el que toma el arco no resistirá, ni escapará el ligero de pies, ni el que cabalga en caballo salvará su vida.

Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.

auch wer unter den Helden ein tapferes Herz hat, der wird nackt entfliehen, spricht der HERR.

El esforzado entre esforzados huirá desnudo aquel día, dice Jehová.

And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.

He who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day,” says the LORD.
