Amós 3

Ecoutez cette parole que l'Eternel a prononcée sur vous, fils d'Israël, sur toute la famille que j'ai fait monter du pays d'Egypte, en ces mots :

OID esta palabra que ha hablado Jehová contra vosotros, hijos de Israel, contra toda la familia que hice subir de la tierra de Egipto. Dice así:

Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying:

Vous seuls, je vous ai connus, d'entre toutes les familles de la terre ! C'est pourquoi je vous punirai de toutes vos iniquités.

A vosotros solamente he conocido de todas las familias de la tierra; por tanto visitaré contra vosotros todas vuestras maldades.

You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

“I have only chosen you of all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.”

Deux hommes marchent-ils ensemble s'ils ne se sont concertés ?

¿Andarán dos juntos, si no estuvieren de concierto?

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Do two walk together, unless they have agreed?

Le lion rugit-il dans la forêt sans avoir une proie ? Le jeune lion fait-il retentir, sa voix du fond de sa tanière sans qu'il ait rien pris ?

¿Bramará el león en el monte sin hacer presa? ¿dará el leoncillo su bramido desde su morada, si no prendiere?

Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?

Will a lion roar in the thicket, when he has no prey? Does a young lion cry out of his den, if he has caught nothing?

Le passereau tombe-t-il dans le filet placé à terre sans qu'un piège lui ait été tendu ? Le filet s'élève-t-il du sol quand on n'a rien pris du tout ?

¿Caerá el ave en el lazo en la tierra, sin haber armador? ¿alzaráse el lazo de la tierra, si no se ha prendido algo?

Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?

Can a bird fall in a trap on the earth, where no snare is set for him? Does a snare spring up from the ground, when there is nothing to catch?

La trompette résonne-t-elle dans une ville sans que le peuple prenne l'alarme ? Un malheur arrive-t-il dans une ville sans que l'Eternel ait agi ?

¿Tocaráse la trompeta en la ciudad, y no se alborotará el pueblo? ¿habrá algún mal en la ciudad, el cual Jehová no haya hecho?

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Does the trumpet alarm sound in a city, without the people being afraid? Does evil happen to a city, and the LORD hasn’t done it?

Car le Seigneur, l'Eternel, ne fait rien qu'il n'ait révélé son conseil à ses serviteurs, les prophètes.

Porque no hará nada el Señor Jehová, sin que revele su secreto á sus siervos los profetas.

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

Le lion a rugi : qui ne craindrait ? Le Seigneur, l'Eternel a parlé : qui ne prophétiserait ?

Bramando el león, ¿quién no temerá? hablando el Señor Jehová, ¿quién no profetizará?

The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

The lion has roared. Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken. Who can but prophesy?

Faites entendre cette parole sur les palais d'Asdod et sur les palais du pays d'Egypte ; dites-leur : Rassemblez-vous sur les montagnes de Samarie et voyez : il y a beaucoup de désordres au milieu d'elle et d'oppressions dans son sein.

Haced pregonar sobre los palacios de Azoto, y sobre los palacios de tierra de Egipto, y decid: Reuníos sobre los montes de Samaria, y ved muchas opresiones en medio de ella, y violencias en medio de ella.

Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.

Proclaim in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, “Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria, and see what unrest is in her, and what oppression is among them.”

Ils ne savent pas faire ce qui est droit, dit l'Eternel, eux qui amassent la violence et le pillage dans leurs palais.

Y no saben hacer lo recto, dice Jehová, atesorando rapiñas y despojos en sus palacios.

For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

“Indeed they don’t know to do right,” says the LORD, “Who hoard plunder and loot in their palaces.”

C'est pourquoi ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel : L'ennemi est là ; il enserre le pays ; il te dépouillera de ta force, et tes palais seront pillés.

Por tanto, el Señor Jehová ha dicho así: Un enemigo habrá aún por todos lados de la tierra, y derribará de ti tu fortaleza, y tus palacios serán saqueados.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

Therefore the Lord GOD says: “An adversary will overrun the land; and he will pull down your strongholds, and your fortresses will be plundered.”

Ainsi a dit l'Eternel : Comme le berger arrache à la gueule du lion deux jarrets ou un bout d'oreille, ainsi seront sauvés les fils d'Israël qui sont assis à Samarie au coin d'un divan ou sur le damas de leur lit.

Así ha dicho Jehová: De la manera que el pastor libra de la boca del león dos piernas, ó la punta de una oreja, así escaparán los hijos de Israel que moran en Samaria en el rincón de la cama, y al canto del lecho.

Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.

The LORD says: “As the shepherd rescues out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel be rescued who sit in Samaria on the corner of a couch, and on the silken cushions of a bed.”

Ecoutez ceci et attestez-le dans la maison de Jacob, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, le Dieu des armées :

Oid y protestad en la casa de Jacob, ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos:

Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

“Listen, and testify against the house of Jacob,” says the Lord GOD, the God of Armies.

C'est que, au jour où je punirai Israël de ses crimes, je punirai les autels de Béthel, les cornes de l'autel seront brisées et tomberont à terre.

Que el día que visitaré las rebeliones de Israel sobre él, visitaré también sobre los altares de Beth-el; y serán cortados los cuernos del altar, y caerán á tierra.

That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Beth-el: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.

“For in the day that I visit the transgressions of Israel on him, I will also visit the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar will be cut off, and fall to the ground.

Et je frapperai les maisons d'hiver et les maisons d'été ; les maisons d'ivoire et les grandes maisons seront détruites, dit l'Eternel.

Y heriré la casa del invierno con la casa del verano, y las casas de marfil perecerán; y muchas casas serán arruinadas, dice Jehová.

And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.

I will strike the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory will perish, and the great houses will have an end,” says the LORD.
