Envié la mortandad contra vosotros en la jornada de Egipto; a vuestra juventud la hice morir al filo de la espada, y fueron cogidos hasta vuestros mismos caballos; el olor de los cadáveres de vuestro campamento lo hice llegar a vuestras narices, y no por eso os convertisteis a mí, dice el Señor.
Envié entre vosotros mortandad al modo que en Egipto: maté á cuchillo vuestros mancebos, con cautiverio de vuestros caballos; é hice subir el hedor de vuestros reales hasta vuestras narices: empero no os tornasteis á mí, dice Jehová.
I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
“I sent plagues among you like I did Egypt. I have slain your young men with the sword, and have carried away your horses. I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camp, yet you haven’t returned to me,” says the LORD.
