Amós 4

“Destruí algumas de suas cidades como fiz com Sodoma e Gomorra. Os sobreviventes pareciam pedaços de lenha, meio queimados, tirados da fogueira. Mas mesmo assim vocês não se voltaram para mim”, diz o Senhor.

Trastornéos, como cuando Dios trastornó á Sodoma y á Gomorra, y fuisteis como tizón escapado del fuego: mas no os tornasteis á mí, dice Jehová.

I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

“I have overthrown some of you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a burning stick plucked out of the fire; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says the LORD.
