Amós 6

Ai dos que estão tranquilos em Sião, e dos que se sentem seguros no monte de Samaria, que são os príncipes da principal das nações, aos quais o povo de Israel vem!

¡AY de los reposados en Sión, y de los confiados en el monte de Samaria, nombrados principales entre las mismas naciones, las cuales vendrán sobre ellos, oh casa de Israel!

Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!

Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who are secure on the mountain of Samaria, the notable men of the chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel come!

Passai a Calné, e vede; e dali ide à grande Hamate; depois descei a Gate dos filisteus; por acaso são aqueles reinos melhores que estes, ou seu território maior que vosso território?

Pasad á Calne, y mirad; y de allí id á la gran Hamath; descended luego á Gath de los Palestinos: ved si son aquellos reinos mejores que estos reinos, si su término es mayor que vuestro término.

Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?

Go to Calneh, and see. From there go to Hamath the great. Then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are they better than these kingdoms? Is their border greater than your border?

Vós que pensais estar distante o dia mau, e aproximais o assento da violência;

Vosotros que dilatáis el día malo, y acercáis la silla de iniquidad;

Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;

Alas for you who put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near,

Eles se deitam em camas de marfim, e se estendem sobre seus leitos; comem os cordeiros do rebanho, e os bezerros de em meio do curral;

Duermen en camas de marfil, y se extienden sobre sus lechos; y comen los corderos del rebaño, y los becerros de en medio del engordadero;

That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;

Cantam ao som da harpa, e inventam para si instrumentos musicais, como Davi;

Gorjean al son de la flauta, é inventan instrumentos músicos, como David;

That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;

who strum on the strings of a harp, who invent for themselves instruments of music, like David;

Bebem vinho em tigelas, e se ungem com o óleo mais valioso; mas não se afligem pela ruína de José.

Beben vino en tazones, y se ungen con los ungüentos más preciosos; y no se afligen por el quebrantamiento de José.

That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

Por isso agora serão os primeiros a serem levados presos ao cativeiro, e o banquete dos que vivem no conforto se acabará.

Por tanto, ahora pasarán en el principio de los que á cautividad pasaren, y se acercará el clamor de los extendidos.

Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.

Therefore they will now go captive with the first who go captive. The feasting and lounging will end.

O Senhor DEUS jurou por si mesmo; o SENHOR Deus dos exércitos diz: Eu abomino a arrogância de Jacó, e odeio seus palácios; por isso entregarei a cidade e tudo que ela tem ao inimigo .

El Señor Jehová juró por su alma, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos ha dicho: Tengo en abominación la grandeza de Jacob, y aborrezco sus palacios: y la ciudad y su plenitud entregaré al enemigo.

The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.

“The Lord GOD has sworn by himself,” says the LORD, the God of Armies: “I abhor the pride of Jacob, and detest his fortresses. Therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it.

E acontecerá que, se dez homens restarem em uma casa, mesmo eles morrerão.

Y acontecerá que si diez hombres quedaren en una casa, morirán.

And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.

It will happen that if ten men remain in one house, they will die.

E quando seu parente vier para queimar os cadáveres ,para tirar os ossos de casa, então dirá ao que estiver dentro da da casa: Há ainda alguém contigo? E ele responderá: Não. Então aquele dirá: Cala-te! Não menciones o nome do SENHOR.

Y su tío tomará á cada uno, y quemarále para sacar los huesos de casa; y dirá al que estará en los rincones de la casa: ¿Hay aún alguno contigo? Y dirá: No. Y dirá aquél: Calla, que no podemos hacer mención del nombre de Jehová.

And a man’s uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.

“When a man’s relative carries him, even he who burns him, to bring bodies out of the house, and asks him who is in the innermost parts of the house, ‘Is there yet any with you?’ And he says, ‘No;’ then he will say, ‘Hush! Indeed we must not mention the LORD’s name.’

Porque eis que o SENHOR mandará, e ferirá a casa maior com quebrantamento, e a casa menor com despedaçamento.

Porque he aquí, Jehová mandará, y herirá con hendiduras la casa mayor, y la casa menor con aberturas.

For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.

“For, behold, the LORD commands, and the great house will be smashed to pieces, and the little house into bits.

Por acaso correm os cavalos pelos rochedos? Pode-se arar ali com bois? Porém vós pervertestes o juízo em veneno, e o fruto da justiça no amargo absinto.

¿Correrán los caballos por las peñas? ¿ararán en ellas con vacas? ¿por qué habéis vosotros tornado el juicio en veneno, y el fruto de justicia en ajenjo?

Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:

Do horses run on the rocky crags? Does one plow there with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness,

Vós que vos alegrais por nada, que dizeis: Não conquistamos Carnaim por nossa própria força?

Vosotros que os alegráis en nada, que decís: ¿No nos hemos adquirido potencia con nuestra fortaleza?

Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?

you who rejoice in a thing of nothing, who say, ‘Haven’t we taken for ourselves horns by our own strength?’

Diz o SENHOR Deus dos exércitos: Pois eis que eu levantarei contra vós, ó casa de Israel, uma nação que vos oprimirá desde a entrada de Hamate até o ribeiro de Arabá.

Pues he aquí, levantaré yo sobre vosotros, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, gente que os oprimirá desde la entrada de Hamath hasta el arroyo del desierto.

But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.

For, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, house of Israel,” says the LORD, the God of Armies; “and they will afflict you from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of the Arabah.”
