Amós 8

Voici que me fit voir le Seigneur, l'Eternel : j'aperçus un panier de fruits mûrs.

ASÍ me ha mostrado Jehová: y he aquí un canastillo de fruta de verano.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

Et il me dit : Que vois-tu, Amos ? Et je répondis : Une corbeille de fruits mûrs. Et l'Eternel me dit : La fin est venue pour mon peuple d'Israël ; désormais, je ne lui passerai plus rien.

Y dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Un canastillo de fruta de verano. Y díjome Jehová: Venido ha el fin sobre mi pueblo Israel; no le pasaré más.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

He said, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then the LORD said to me, “The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

Ce seront des hurlements que les chants du palais en ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel. Il y aura force cadavres ; en tout lieu, on les jette en silence.

Y los cantores del templo aullarán en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová; muchos serán los cuerpos muertos; en todo lugar echados serán en silencio.

And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

The songs of the temple will be wailing in that day,” says the Lord GOD. “The dead bodies will be many. In every place they will throw them out with silence.

Ecoutez ceci, vous qui voulez engloutir l'indigent et faire périr les humbles du pays,

Oid esto, los que tragáis á los menesterosos, y arruináis los pobres de la tierra,

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Hear this, you who desire to swallow up the needy, and cause the poor of the land to fail,

vous qui dites : Quand la nouvelle lune sera-t-elle passée, que nous puissions vendre du grain ? et le sabbat, pour que nous ouvrions nos magasins à blé, en rapetissant l'épha, et en grossissant le sicle et en faussant la balance pour tromper ;

Diciendo: ¿Cuándo pasará el mes, y venderemos el trigo; y la semana, y abriremos los alfolíes del pan, y achicaremos la medida, y engrandeceremos el precio, y falsearemos el peso engañoso;

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

saying, ‘When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may market wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel large, and dealing falsely with balances of deceit;

en achetant pour de l'argent les misérables et les pauvres à cause d'une paire de sandales ; et nous vendrons la criblure du blé.

Para comprar los pobres por dinero, y los necesitados por un par de zapatos, y venderemos las aechaduras del trigo?

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

that we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the sweepings with the wheat?’”

L'Eternel l'a juré par l'orgueil de Jacob : Je n'oublierai pas toujours toutes leurs actions.

Jehová juró por la gloria de Jacob: No me olvidaré para siempre de todas sus obras.

The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob, “Surely I will never forget any of their works.

A cause de cela, le pays ne tremblera-t-il pas ? Et quiconque y habite ne sera-t-il pas dans le deuil ? Le pays montera tout entier comme le Nil, il s'élèvera et s'abaissera comme le fleuve d'Egypte.

¿No se ha de estremecer la tierra sobre esto? ¿y todo habitador de ella no llorará? y subirá toda como un río, y será arrojada, y hundiráse como el río de Egipto.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

Won’t the land tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it will rise up wholly like the River; and it will be stirred up and sink again, like the River of Egypt.

En ce jour-là, il arrivera, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, que je ferai coucher le soleil en plein midi et que je plongerai la terre dans les ténèbres en un jour serein.

Y acaecerá en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová, que haré se ponga el sol al mediodía, y la tierra cubriré de tinieblas en el día claro.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

Je changerai vos fêtes en deuil et tous vos chants en complaintes ; je mettrai le sac sur tous les reins, et toute tête sera rasée, et je mettrai le pays comme en un deuil de fils unique, et son avenir sera comme un jour amer.

Y tornaré vuestras fiestas en lloro, y todos vuestros cantares en endechas; y haré poner saco sobre todos lomos, y peladura sobre toda cabeza; y tornaréla como en llanto de unigénito, y su postrimería como día amargo.

And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

Voici, des jours viennent, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, où j'enverrai dans le pays une faim, non faim de pain, ni soif d'eau, mais d'entendre les paroles de l'Eternel.

He aquí vienen días, dice el Señor Jehová, en los cuales enviaré hambre á la tierra, no hambre de pan, ni sed de agua, sino de oir palabra de Jehová.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Et l'on errera d'une mer à l'autre et du septentrion à l'orient ; on ira de côté et d'autre pour chercher la parole de l'Eternel, mais on ne trouvera pas.

E irán errantes de mar á mar: desde el norte hasta el oriente discurrirán buscando palabra de Jehová, y no la hallarán.

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

En ce jour-là, les belles vierges et les jeunes hommes languiront de soif.

En aquel tiempo las doncellas hermosas y los mancebos desmayarán de sed.

In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

In that day the beautiful virgins and the young men will faint for thirst.

Ceux qui jurent par le péché de Samarie, ceux qui disent : Par la vie de ton Dieu, ô Dan !... par la voie de Béerséba ! ils tomberont et ne se relèveront pas.

Los que juran por el pecado de Samaria, y dicen, Vive tu Dios de Dan: y, Vive el camino de Beer-seba: caerán, y nunca más se levantarán.

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, ‘As your god, Dan, lives,’ and, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’ they will fall, and never rise up again.”
