Amós 8

Le Seigneur l’Eternel me fit voir cette vision, et voici, un panier de fruits d’Eté.

ASÍ me ha mostrado Jehová: y he aquí un canastillo de fruta de verano.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

Et il dit : Que vois-tu, Amos ? Et je répondis : Un panier de fruits d’Eté. Et l’Eternel me dit : La fin est venue sur mon peuple d’Israël, je ne lui en passerai plus.

Y dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Un canastillo de fruta de verano. Y díjome Jehová: Venido ha el fin sobre mi pueblo Israel; no le pasaré más.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

He said, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then the LORD said to me, “The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

Les cantiques du Temple seront des hurlements en ce temps-là, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel. Il y aura grand nombre de corps morts que l’on jettera en tous lieux en silence.

Y los cantores del templo aullarán en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová; muchos serán los cuerpos muertos; en todo lugar echados serán en silencio.

And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

The songs of the temple will be wailing in that day,” says the Lord GOD. “The dead bodies will be many. In every place they will throw them out with silence.

Ecoutez ceci vous qui engloutissez les pauvres, même jusqu’à désoler les affligés du pays ;

Oid esto, los que tragáis á los menesterosos, y arruináis los pobres de la tierra,

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Hear this, you who desire to swallow up the needy, and cause the poor of the land to fail,

Et qui dites : Quand sera passé ce mois ? et nous débiterons le blé ; et quand sera passé ce sabbat ? et nous mettrons en vente le froment, en faisant l’épha plus petit, augmentant le sicle, et falsifiant les balances pour tromper.

Diciendo: ¿Cuándo pasará el mes, y venderemos el trigo; y la semana, y abriremos los alfolíes del pan, y achicaremos la medida, y engrandeceremos el precio, y falsearemos el peso engañoso;

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

saying, ‘When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may market wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel large, and dealing falsely with balances of deceit;

Afin que nous acquérions les chétifs par argent, et le pauvre pour une paire de souliers, et que nous débitions les criblures du froment.

Para comprar los pobres por dinero, y los necesitados por un par de zapatos, y venderemos las aechaduras del trigo?

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

that we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the sweepings with the wheat?’”

L’Eternel a juré par la magnificence de Jacob : Si j’oublie jamais aucune de leurs actions !

Jehová juró por la gloria de Jacob: No me olvidaré para siempre de todas sus obras.

The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

La terre ne sera-t-elle point émue d’une telle chose, et tous ses habitants ne lamenteront-ils point ? Ne s’écoulera-t-elle pas toute comme un fleuve, et ne sera-t-elle pas emportée et submergée comme par le fleuve d’Egypte ?

¿No se ha de estremecer la tierra sobre esto? ¿y todo habitador de ella no llorará? y subirá toda como un río, y será arrojada, y hundiráse como el río de Egipto.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

Won’t the land tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it will rise up wholly like the River; and it will be stirred up and sink again, like the River of Egypt.

Et il arrivera en ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel, que je ferai coucher le soleil en plein Midi, et que je ferai venir les ténèbres sur la terre en un jour serein.

Y acaecerá en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová, que haré se ponga el sol al mediodía, y la tierra cubriré de tinieblas en el día claro.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

Je changerai vos fêtes solennelles en deuil, et tous vos cantiques en lamentation ; je mettrai le sac sur tous les reins, et je rendrai chauves toutes les têtes ; et je mettrai le pays en une telle lamentation, que celle d’un fils unique ; et sa fin sera telle que d’un jour amer.

Y tornaré vuestras fiestas en lloro, y todos vuestros cantares en endechas; y haré poner saco sobre todos lomos, y peladura sobre toda cabeza; y tornaréla como en llanto de unigénito, y su postrimería como día amargo.

And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

Voici, les jours viennent, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel, que j’enverrai la famine sur le pays, non la famine du pain, ni la soif de l’eau, mais la famine d’ouïr les paroles de l’Eternel.

He aquí vienen días, dice el Señor Jehová, en los cuales enviaré hambre á la tierra, no hambre de pan, ni sed de agua, sino de oir palabra de Jehová.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Ils courront depuis une mer jusqu’à l’autre, et ils iront de tous côtés depuis l’Aquilon jusqu’à l’Orient, pour chercher la parole de l’Eternel ; mais ils ne la trouveront point.

E irán errantes de mar á mar: desde el norte hasta el oriente discurrirán buscando palabra de Jehová, y no la hallarán.

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

En ce jour-là, pâmeront de soif les belles vierges et les jeunes hommes,

En aquel tiempo las doncellas hermosas y los mancebos desmayarán de sed.

In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

qui jurent par le délit de Samarie, et disent : ô Dan ! Ton Dieu est vivant : et, vive la voie de Béersébah ; ils tomberont donc, et ne se relèveront plus. Retournez au Début

Los que juran por el pecado de Samaria, y dicen, Vive tu Dios de Dan: y, Vive el camino de Beer-seba: caerán, y nunca más se levantarán.

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, ‘As your god, Dan, lives,’ and, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’ they will fall, and never rise up again.”
