Amós 8

Isto é o que o Senhor Yahweh me mostrou. Vê, um cesto de frutas de verão!

ASÍ me ha mostrado Jehová: y he aquí un canastillo de fruta de verano.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

Ele disse: "O que vês, Amós?". Eu disse: "Um cesto de frutas de verão". Então, Yahweh me disse: "O fim chegou para Meu povo, Israel; não terei mais misericórdia para com eles.

Y dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Un canastillo de fruta de verano. Y díjome Jehová: Venido ha el fin sobre mi pueblo Israel; no le pasaré más.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

He said, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then the LORD said to me, “The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

Os cânticos do templo se tornarão em lamentos. Naquele dia", assim diz o Senhor Yahweh, "os cadáveres serão muitos; em todos os lugares, serão lançados para fora, em silêncio!".

Y los cantores del templo aullarán en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová; muchos serán los cuerpos muertos; en todo lugar echados serán en silencio.

And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

The songs of the temple will be wailing in that day,” says the Lord GOD. “The dead bodies will be many. In every place they will throw them out with silence.

Ouvi isto, vós que atropelais os necessitados e destruís os pobres da terra.

Oid esto, los que tragáis á los menesterosos, y arruináis los pobres de la tierra,

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Hear this, you who desire to swallow up the needy, and cause the poor of the land to fail,

Eles dizem: "Quando passará a lua nova, para que possamos vender grãos de novo? E o sábado, quando passará, para que possamos vender o trigo? Vamos fazer a medida pequena e aumentar o preço, para trapacear com balanças enganadoras.

Diciendo: ¿Cuándo pasará el mes, y venderemos el trigo; y la semana, y abriremos los alfolíes del pan, y achicaremos la medida, y engrandeceremos el precio, y falsearemos el peso engañoso;

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

saying, ‘When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may market wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel large, and dealing falsely with balances of deceit;

Isto é, que possamos vender trigo ruim, comprar o pobre por prata e o necessitado por um par de sandálias".

Para comprar los pobres por dinero, y los necesitados por un par de zapatos, y venderemos las aechaduras del trigo?

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

Yahweh jurou pelo orgulho de Jacó: "Certamente Eu jamais vou esquecer qualquer de tuas ações."

Jehová juró por la gloria de Jacob: No me olvidaré para siempre de todas sus obras.

The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

Não tremerão por isso a terra e cada um que vive nela a chorar? Tudo isso encherá como o rio Nilo; subirá e baixará como o rio do Egito.

¿No se ha de estremecer la tierra sobre esto? ¿y todo habitador de ella no llorará? y subirá toda como un río, y será arrojada, y hundiráse como el río de Egipto.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

Won’t the land tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it will rise up wholly like the River; and it will be stirred up and sink again, like the River of Egypt.

"Isso virá naquele dia", diz o Senhor Yahweh, "que Eu vou fazer o sol se pôr ao meio dia e vou escurecer a terra em plena luz do dia.

Y acaecerá en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová, que haré se ponga el sol al mediodía, y la tierra cubriré de tinieblas en el día claro.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

Transformarei as vossas festas em velório, e todas as vossas canções em lamentações. Eu farei todos vós vestirdes roupas de saco e tereis as cabeças rapadas. Vou fazer isto como velório por um filho único, e o seu fim como um dia amargo.

Y tornaré vuestras fiestas en lloro, y todos vuestros cantares en endechas; y haré poner saco sobre todos lomos, y peladura sobre toda cabeza; y tornaréla como en llanto de unigénito, y su postrimería como día amargo.

And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

Vede, os dias estão vindo", assim diz o Senhor Yahweh, "quando Eu enviar a fome na terra — não fome de pão nem sede de água, mas de ouvir as palavras de Yahweh.

He aquí vienen días, dice el Señor Jehová, en los cuales enviaré hambre á la tierra, no hambre de pan, ni sed de agua, sino de oir palabra de Jehová.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Eles irão cambaleando de mar em mar; correrão do norte para o leste, para procurar a palavra de Yahweh, mas não a encontrarão.

E irán errantes de mar á mar: desde el norte hasta el oriente discurrirán buscando palabra de Jehová, y no la hallarán.

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

They will wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they will run back and forth to seek the LORD’s word, and will not find it.

Naquele dia as belas virgens e os jovens vão desfalecer de sede.

En aquel tiempo las doncellas hermosas y los mancebos desmayarán de sed.

In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

In that day the beautiful virgins and the young men will faint for thirst.

Aqueles que juram pelos pecados de Samaria, esses cairão e nunca se levantarão de novo".

Los que juran por el pecado de Samaria, y dicen, Vive tu Dios de Dan: y, Vive el camino de Beer-seba: caerán, y nunca más se levantarán.

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, ‘As your god, Dan, lives,’ and, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’ they will fall, and never rise up again.”
