Cada vez que oramos por ustedes damos gracias a Dios, el Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,

having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which you have toward all the saints,
Ustedes se comportan así motivados por la esperanza de lo que está guardado para ustedes en el cielo. De ello se enteraron por medio del mensaje verdadero del evangelio.
A causa de la esperanza que os está guardada en los cielos, de la cual habéis oído ya por la palabra verdadera del evangelio:
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News
Esas buenas nuevas que escucharon ustedes están dando fruto y creciendo en todo el mundo, como también sucedió entre ustedes mismos desde el día en que escucharon y entendieron la gracia de Dios.
El cual ha llegado hasta vosotros, como por todo el mundo; y fructifica y crece, como también en vosotros, desde el día que oísteis y conocisteis la gracia de Dios en verdad,
Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
which has come to you, even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,
Epafras, nuestro muy amado colaborador, el que les enseñó el evangelio y en quien tienen ustedes a un fiel servidor de Cristo,
Como habéis aprendido de Epafras, nuestro consiervo amado, el cual es un fiel ministro de Cristo á favor vuestro;
As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
even as you learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf,
fue quien nos contó del gran amor hacia los demás que el Espíritu ha puesto en ustedes.
El cual también nos ha declarado vuestro amor en el Espíritu.

Por eso, desde el primer momento que lo supimos, hemos estado orando y pidiendo a Dios que les ayude a entender plenamente la voluntad divina, y que les dé la sabiduría e inteligencia que vienen del Espíritu.
Por lo cual también nosotros, desde el día que lo oímos, no cesamos de orar por vosotros, y de pedir que seáis llenos del conocimiento de su voluntad, en toda sabiduría y espiritual inteligencia;
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Así podrán agradar y honrar al Señor en todo; harán toda clase de buenas obras y conocerán cada día más y mejor a Dios.
Para que andéis como es digno del Señor, agradándole en todo, fructificando en toda buena obra, y creciendo en el conocimiento de Dios:
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,
Además, estarán llenos del grande y glorioso poder divino para perseverar a pesar de las circunstancias adversas;
Corroborados de toda fortaleza, conforme á la potencia de su gloria, para toda tolerancia y largura de ánimo con gozo;
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,
y con gozo darán gracias al Padre, que nos ha capacitado para participar de la herencia que pertenece a los que viven en el reino de la luz.
Dando gracias al Padre que nos hizo aptos para participar de la suerte de los santos en luz:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,
Él nos rescató del reino de las tinieblas y nos trasladó al reino de su Hijo amado,
Que nos ha librado de la potestad de las tinieblas, y trasladado al reino de su amado Hijo;
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,
quien compró nuestra libertad y perdonó nuestros pecados.
En el cual tenemos redención por su sangre, la remisión de pecados:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
Cristo es la imagen misma del Dios invisible, y existe desde antes que Dios comenzara la creación.
El cual es la imagen del Dios invisible, el primogénito de toda criatura.
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Cristo mismo es el creador de cuanto existe en los cielos y en la tierra, de lo visible y de lo invisible, y de todos los seres que tienen poder, autoridad y dominio; todo fue creado por medio de él y para él.
Porque por él fueron criadas todas las cosas que están en los cielos, y que están en la tierra, visibles é invisibles; sean tronos, sean dominios, sean principados, sean potestades; todo fué criado por él y para él.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Cristo ya existía antes de todas las cosas y, por su poder, todas subsisten.
Y él es antes de todas las cosas, y por él todas las cosas subsisten:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
Él es la cabeza de ese cuerpo suyo que es la iglesia. Él, que es el principio, fue el primero en resucitar, para ser en todo siempre el primero.
Y él es la cabeza del cuerpo que es la iglesia; él que es el principio, el primogénito de los muertos, para que en todo tenga el primado.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Porque Dios quiso que en el Hijo habitara toda su plenitud.
Por cuanto agradó al Padre que en él habitase toda plenitud,

Por medio del Hijo, Dios reconcilió con él todas las cosas, tanto las que están en los cielos como las que están en la tierra. Esa paz la logró Dios por medio de la sangre que Jesús derramó en la cruz.
Y por él reconciliar todas las cosas á sí, pacificando por la sangre de su cruz, así lo que está en la tierra como lo que está en los cielos.
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
En otro tiempo, ustedes estaban alejados de Dios y eran sus enemigos, debido a sus malos pensamientos y acciones.
A vosotros también, que erais en otro tiempo extraños y enemigos de ánimo en malas obras, ahora empero os ha reconciliado
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,
Pero ahora él los ha reconciliado por medio de la muerte que Cristo sufrió en su cuerpo, para presentarlos santos, sin mancha ni culpa, ante la misma presencia de Dios.
En el cuerpo de su carne por medio de muerte, para haceros santos, y sin mancha, é irreprensibles delante de él:
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him,
Pero para esto tienen que creer firmemente y no abandonar la esperanza que tienen gracias a las buenas noticias. Estas son las buenas noticias que un día escucharon y que ahora mismo están siendo proclamadas en el mundo entero. Y yo, Pablo, trabajo anunciándolas.
Si empero permanecéis fundados y firmes en la fe, y sin moveros de la esperanza del evangelio que habéis oído; el cual es predicado á toda criatura que está debajo del cielo; del cual yo Pablo soy hecho ministro.
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
Es cierto que estoy sufriendo por ustedes, pero me alegro. Así ayudo a completar lo que falta de los sufrimientos de Cristo por ese cuerpo suyo que es la iglesia.
Que ahora me gozo en lo que padezco por vosotros, y cumplo en mi carne lo que falta de las aflicciones de Cristo por su cuerpo, que es la iglesia;
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the assembly,
Después de todo, sirvo a la iglesia por comisión divina, que me fue dada para bien de ustedes y con el propósito de revelar el plan divino en todas partes.
De la cual soy hecho ministro, según la dispensación de Dios que me fué dada en orden á vosotros, para que cumpla la palabra de Dios;
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you to fulfill the word of God,
A través de los siglos y a lo largo de muchas generaciones, ese plan se había mantenido en secreto, pero por fin el Señor ha querido revelarlo a los suyos.
A saber, el misterio que había estado oculto desde los siglos y edades, mas ahora ha sido manifestado á sus santos:
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,
A ellos, Dios les dio a conocer la riqueza y la gloria de su plan que, por cierto, beneficia a los gentiles. Y este es el misterio: Cristo está entre ustedes y es su esperanza de gloria.
A los cuales quiso Dios hacer notorias las riquezas de la gloria de este misterio entre los Gentiles; que es Cristo en vosotros la esperanza de gloria:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Por eso, adondequiera que vamos hablamos de Cristo, y amonestamos y enseñamos a todos con toda sabiduría. Queremos que cada ser humano sea perfecto como Cristo.
El cual nosotros anunciamos, amonestando á todo hombre, y enseñando en toda sabiduría, para que presentemos á todo hombre perfecto en Cristo Jesús:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
Esa es mi tarea y lucho para realizarla con toda la fuerza y el poder que Cristo me da.
En lo cual aun trabajo, combatiendo según la operación de él, la cual obra en mí poderosamente.
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
