Estamos orando também para que vocês sejam cheios da sua gloriosa e poderosa força, de tal maneira que possam continuar avançando com perseverança, paciência e com alegria,
Corroborados de toda fortaleza, conforme á la potencia de su gloria, para toda tolerancia y largura de ánimo con gozo;
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Porque ele nos resgatou das trevas e nos trouxe para o reino do seu Filho amado,
Que nos ha librado de la potestad de las tinieblas, y trasladado al reino de su amado Hijo;
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

que comprou a nossa liberdade com o seu sangue e perdoou todos os nossos pecados.

Ele é a semelhança perfeita do Deus invisível. Ele já existia antes de Deus criar qualquer coisa,

pois nele foram criadas todas as coisas no céu e na terra, as coisas que podemos ver e as que não podemos; o mundo espiritual com seus tronos e reinos, seus governantes e suas autoridades: todas as coisas foram criadas por ele e para ele.
Porque por él fueron criadas todas las cosas que están en los cielos, y que están en la tierra, visibles é invisibles; sean tronos, sean dominios, sean principados, sean potestades; todo fué criado por él y para él.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Ele existia antes que tudo o mais começasse e é o seu poder que sustém todas as coisas.

Foi por meio do seu Filho que Deus reconciliou consigo todas as coisas, no céu e na terra, pois a morte de Cristo na cruz trouxe para todos a paz com Deus através de seu sangue.

Isso inclui vocês, que antes estavam separados de Deus. Vocês eram inimigos dele e o odiavam, e estavam separados dele pelos seus maus pensamentos e ações;
A vosotros también, que erais en otro tiempo extraños y enemigos de ánimo en malas obras, ahora empero os ha reconciliado
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,
contudo, agora ele fez vocês voltarem a ser seus amigos por meio do seu próprio corpo, através da morte, e agora, como resultado, Cristo trouxe vocês à presença do próprio Deus, e vocês permanecem firmes diante dele, nada mais havendo contra vocês, isto é, livres de qualquer acusação.

A única condição é que vocês creiam inteiramente na verdade, ficando firmes e seguros nela, fortes no Senhor, convictos do evangelho de que Jesus morreu por vocês, e nunca vacilando na confiança nele como Salvador. Esta é a notícia maravilhosa que chegou a cada um de vocês e agora está se espalhando pelo mundo inteiro. E eu, Paulo, me tornei ministro deste evangelho.
Si empero permanecéis fundados y firmes en la fe, y sin moveros de la esperanza del evangelio que habéis oído; el cual es predicado á toda criatura que está debajo del cielo; del cual yo Pablo soy hecho ministro.
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
Entretanto, parte do meu trabalho é sofrer por vocês; estou alegre, pois estou ajudando a completar o resto dos sofrimentos de Cristo pelo seu corpo, a igreja.
Que ahora me gozo en lo que padezco por vosotros, y cumplo en mi carne lo que falta de las aflicciones de Cristo por su cuerpo, que es la iglesia;
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Deus me enviou para ajudar a sua igreja e para revelar seu plano secreto a vocês.
De la cual soy hecho ministro, según la dispensación de Dios que me fué dada en orden á vosotros, para que cumpla la palabra de Dios;
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you to fulfill the word of God,
Porque através de séculos e gerações passadas ele guardou esse mistério. Porém, agora finalmente foi do seu agrado revelá-lo àqueles que o amam e vivem para ele;
A saber, el misterio que había estado oculto desde los siglos y edades, mas ahora ha sido manifestado á sus santos:
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,
e as riquezas e a glória do seu plano são também para vocês, os gentios. E este é o mistério: Cristo no coração de vocês é a esperança da glória.
A los cuales quiso Dios hacer notorias las riquezas de la gloria de este misterio entre los Gentiles; que es Cristo en vosotros la esperanza de gloria:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

E assim, aonde quer que vamos, falamos de Cristo a todos quantos ouvirem, admoestando-os e ensinando-os com toda a sabedoria. Queremos ser capazes de apresentar a Deus cada um deles, aperfeiçoado por causa daquilo que Cristo fez em favor de cada um deles.
El cual nosotros anunciamos, amonestando á todo hombre, y enseñando en toda sabiduría, para que presentemos á todo hombre perfecto en Cristo Jesús:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Esta é a minha obra, para a qual eu me esforço, lutando conforme a sua força que atua poderosamente em mim.
