Colosenses 2

Eu gostaria que vocês pudessem saber quanto tenho lutado em oração por vocês e pela igreja de Laodiceia, e por muitos outros que nunca me conheceram pessoalmente.

PORQUE quiero que sepáis cuán gran solicitud tengo por vosotros, y por los que están en Laodicea, y por todos los que nunca vieron mi rostro en carne;

For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

For I desire to have you know how greatly I struggle for you and for those at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

Eis o que eu tenho pedido a Deus para vocês: que sejam encorajados e unidos por fortes laços de amor, e que tenham a preciosa experiência de conhecerem a Cristo com real convicção e clara compreensão. Porque o plano misterioso de Deus, agora finalmente revelado, é o próprio Cristo.

Para que sean confortados sus corazones, unidos en amor, y en todas riquezas de cumplido entendimiento para conocer el misterio de Dios, y del Padre, y de Cristo;

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

Nele estão escondidos todos os tesouros da sabedoria e do conhecimento.

En el cual están escondidos todos los tesoros de sabiduría y conocimiento.

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Estou dizendo isto porque tenho receio de que alguém possa enganar vocês com palavras persuasivas.

Y esto digo, para que nadie os engañe con palabras persuasivas.

And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

Now I say this that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.

Porque embora eu esteja fisicamente longe, meu coração está com vocês, feliz porque vocês estão progredindo tão bem e por causa da fé firme que têm em Cristo.

Porque aunque estoy ausente con el cuerpo, no obstante con el espíritu estoy con vosotros, gozándome y mirando vuestro concierto, y la firmeza de vuestra fe en Cristo.

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

E agora, assim como vocês receberam Cristo Jesus, o Senhor, continuem a viver nele.

Deixem que as raízes de vocês se aprofundem nele e extraiam dele a nutrição. Continuem crescendo no Senhor, e tornem-se fortes e vigorosos na fé, como foram ensinados. E que a vida de vocês transborde de alegria e gratidão.

Arraigados y sobreedificados en él, y confirmados en la fe, así como habéis aprendido, creciendo en ella con hacimiento de gracias.

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Não permitam que outros lhes estraguem a fé e a alegria com suas filosofias erradas e superficiais baseadas em ideias e tradições humanas e nos rudimentos elementares deste mundo, em lugar daquilo que Cristo disse.

Mirad que ninguno os engañe por filosofías y vanas sutilezas, según las tradiciones de los hombres, conforme á los elementos del mundo, y no según Cristo:

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elemental spirits of the world, and not after Christ.

Porque em Cristo habita corporalmente toda a plenitude da natureza de Deus.

Porque en él habita toda la plenitud de la divinidad corporalmente:

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily,

Portanto, vocês têm a plenitude de Deus por meio da sua união com ele. Ele é o cabeça de todo poder e autoridade.

Y en él estáis cumplidos, el cual es la cabeza de todo principado y potestad:

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.

Quando vocês foram a Cristo, ele os libertou dos seus maus desejos, não por meio de uma operação física de circuncisão, mas de uma operação espiritual feita por Cristo, pela qual somos libertados do poder da natureza pecadora.

En el cual también sois circuncidados de circuncisión no hecha con manos, con el despojamiento del cuerpo de los pecados de la carne, en la circuncisión de Cristo;

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

No batismo a sua velha natureza pecaminosa foi sepultada com ele; e então vocês ressuscitaram da morte com ele para uma nova vida, porque confiaram na palavra do poderoso Deus que levantou Cristo dentre os mortos.

Sepultados juntamente con él en el bautismo, en el cual también resucitasteis con él, por la fe de la operación de Dios que le levantó de los muertos.

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Vocês estavam mortos em pecados, e seus desejos pecaminosos ainda não tinham sido afastados. Então ele deu-lhes participação na própria vida de Cristo, porque lhes perdoou todos os pecados,

Y á vosotros, estando muertos en pecados y en la incircuncisión de vuestra carne, os vivificó juntamente con él, perdonándoos todos los pecados,

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

e apagou as acusações confirmadas que havia contra vocês, a lista dos mandamentos aos quais vocês não tinham obedecido. Tomando essa lista de pecados, ele a destruiu, pregando-a na cruz de Cristo.

Rayendo la cédula de los ritos que nos era contraria, que era contra nosotros, quitándola de en medio y enclavándola en la cruz;

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Deste modo ele venceu os governos e autoridades espirituais do mal e exibiu publicamente ao mundo inteiro o triunfo de Cristo na cruz, onde foram tirados todos os pecados de vocês.

Y despojando los principados y las potestades, sacólos á la vergüenza en público, triunfando de ellos en sí mismo.

Portanto, que ninguém censure vocês por aquilo que comem ou bebem, ou por não comemorarem as festas religiosas, ou as cerimônias de lua nova, ou os sábados.

Por tanto, nadie os juzgue en comida, ó en bebida, ó en parte de día de fiesta, ó de nueva luna, ó de sábados:

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,

Esses eram preceitos apenas temporários, que terminaram quando Cristo veio. Eram apenas sombras da realidade — do próprio Cristo.

Lo cual es la sombra de lo por venir; mas el cuerpo es de Cristo.

Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Que ninguém afirme que é melhor do que vocês porque diz ter visões e tem prazer em uma falsa humildade e na adoração de anjos, e dessa forma os impeça de alcançar o prêmio. Esses homens vaidosos têm uma mente muito carnal e orgulhosa.

Nadie os prive de vuestro premio, afectando humildad y culto á los ángeles, metiéndose en lo que no ha visto, vanamente hinchado en el sentido de su propia carne,

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Let no one rob you of your prize by self-abasement and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Mas eles não estão ligados a Cristo, a cabeça à qual todos nós, que somos o seu corpo, estamos unidos; porque somos unidos pelos seus fortes ligamentos e só crescemos à medida que recebemos de Deus a nutrição e a força.

Y no teniendo la cabeza, de la cual todo el cuerpo, alimentado y conjunto por las ligaduras y conjunturas, crece en aumento de Dios.

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.

Já que vocês morreram com Cristo, e isto os libertou de seguirem as ideias do mundo sobre a maneira de ser salvo — fazendo o bem e obedecendo a diversos preceitos — por que de alguma forma continuam seguindo justamente isso, ainda presos a regras tais como

Pues si sois muertos con Cristo cuanto á los rudimentos del mundo, ¿por qué como si vivieseis al mundo, os sometéis á ordenanzas,

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

If you died with Christ from the elemental spirits of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,

não comer ou não provar ou nem mesmo tocar determinados alimentos?

Tales como, No manejes, ni gustes, ni aun toques,

(Touch not; taste not; handle not;

“Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch”

Tais regras são meros ensinamentos humanos, pois o alimento foi feito para ser comido e consumido.

(Las cuales cosas son todas para destrucción en el uso mismo), en conformidad á mandamientos y doctrinas de hombres?

Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

(all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?

Essas regras têm aparência de sabedoria, pois prescrições deste tipo exigem uma religiosidade fingida, uma falsa humildade e uma disciplina para com o corpo, porém não têm efeito algum quando se trata de subjugar os maus pensamentos e desejos de uma pessoa.

Tales cosas tienen á la verdad cierta reputación de sabiduría en culto voluntario, y humildad, y en duro trato del cuerpo; no en alguna honra para el saciar de la carne.

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body, but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.
