1Si han resucitado con Cristo, presta atención a las cosas del cielo, donde Cristo está sentado a la diestra de Dios.
2Mantengan su mente en las cosas de arriba, no en las cosas de la tierra.
3Porque ustedes están muertos, y tienes una vida escondida con Cristo en Dios.
4En la venida de Cristo, que es nuestra vida, se les verá con él en gloria y tendrán parte en su gloria.
5Luego mata todo lo que es terrenal en sus cuerpos que son de la tierra; fornicación, impurezas, cosas inmundas, pasión, malos deseos, envidia, avaricia que es la adoración de dioses extraños;
6Por lo cual la ira de Dios viene sobre los hijos de la desobediencia ;
7En las cuales también anduvieron en el pasado, cuando hicieron tales cosas.
8Pero ahora es justo que guarden todas estas cosas; ira, pasión, malos sentimientos, maldiciones, charla impura;
9No hagas declaraciones falsas el uno al otro; porque se han despojado del viejo hombre con todas sus obras,
10Y te has revestido del hombre nuevo, que se ha hecho nuevo en el conocimiento según a la imagen de su creador;
11Donde no hay griego o judío, nadie con circuncisión o sin circuncisión, sin división entre naciones, sin siervo ni hombre libre: pero Cristo es él todo y en todos.
12Como santos de Dios, entonces, santos y amados, deje que su comportamiento se caracterice por piedad y misericordia,benignidad, humildad, mansedumbre y paciencia;
13Siendo benignos los unos para con los otros y teniendo perdón los unos por los otros, si alguno ha hecho mal a su hermano, así como el Señor los ha perdonado:
14Y más que todos, ten amor; la única forma en que puedes estar completamente unidos.
15Y que la paz de Cristo gobierne en sus corazones, ya que fue el propósito de Dios que ustedes sean un solo cuerpo; y alabar a Dios en todo momento.
16Que la palabra de Cristo esté en ustedes en toda riqueza de sabiduría; enseñando y ayudándose unos a otros con canciones de alabanza, salmos e himnos y cantos espirituales, haciendo melodía a Dios con gracia en sus corazones.
17Y todo lo que hagan, en palabra o en acto, hazlo todo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, alabando a Dios el Padre por medio de él.
18Esposas, estén bajo la autoridad de sus maridos, como conviene en el Señor.
19Maridos, amen a sus mujeres, y no sean ásperos con ellas.
20Hijos, obedezcan a sus padres y madres en todas las cosas, porque esto es agradable al Señor.
21Padres, no provoquen a sus hijos, para que no se desanimen.
22Siervos, en todas las cosas obedezcan las órdenes de sus amos terrenales; no solo cuando sus ojos están puestos en ustedes, como complacientes de los hombres, sino con todo su corazón, temiendo al Señor:
23Hagan lo que hagan, hazlo de corazón, como para el Señor y no para los hombres;
24Seguros de que el Señor les dará la recompensa de la herencia, porque ustedes sirven al Señor Cristo.
25Porque el malhechor tendrá castigo por el mal que ha hecho, y eso sin respeto por la posición de ningún hombre.

1SI habéis pues resucitado con Cristo, buscad las cosas de arriba, donde está Cristo sentado á la diestra de Dios.
2Poned la mira en las cosas de arriba, no en las de la tierra.
3Porque muertos sois, y vuestra vida está escondida con Cristo en Dios.
4Cuando Cristo, vuestra vida, se manifestare, entonces vosotros también seréis manifestados con él en gloria.
5Amortiguad, pues, vuestros miembros que están sobre la tierra: fornicación, inmundicia, molicie, mala concupiscencia, y avaricia, que es idolatría:
6Por las cuales cosas la ira de Dios viene sobre los hijos de rebelión.
7En las cuales vosotros también anduvisteis en otro tiempo viviendo en ellas.
8Mas ahora, dejad también vosotros todas estas cosas: ira, enojo, malicia, maledicencia, torpes palabras de vuestra boca.
9No mintáis los unos á los otros, habiéndoos despojado del viejo hombre con sus hechos,
10Y revestídoos del nuevo, el cual por el conocimiento es renovado conforme á la imagen del que lo crió;
11Donde no hay Griego ni Judío, circuncisión ni incircuncisión, bárbaro ni Scytha, siervo ni libre; mas Cristo es el todo, y en todos.
12Vestíos pues, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, de entrañas de misericordia, de benignidad, de humildad, de mansedumbre, de tolerancia;
13Sufriéndoos los unos á los otros, y perdonándoos los unos á los otros si alguno tuviere queja del otro: de la manera que Cristo os perdonó, así también hacedlo vosotros.
14Y sobre todas estas cosas vestíos de caridad, la cual es el vínculo de la perfección.
15Y la paz de Dios gobierne en vuestros corazones, á la cual asimismo sois llamados en un cuerpo; y sed agradecidos.
16La palabra de Cristo habite en vosotros en abundancia en toda sabiduría, enseñándoos y exhortándoos los unos á los otros con salmos é himnos y canciones espirituales, con gracia cantando en vuestros corazones al Señor.
17Y todo lo que hacéis, sea de palabra, ó de hecho, hacedlo todo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias á Dios Padre por él.
18Casadas, estad sujetas á vuestros maridos, como conviene en el Señor.
19Maridos, amad á vuestras mujeres, y no seáis desapacibles con ellas.
20Hijos, obedeced á vuestros padres en todo; porque esto agrada al Señor.
21Padres, no irritéis á vuestros hijos, porque no se hagan de poco ánimo.
22Siervos, obedeced en todo á vuestros amos carnales, no sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan á los hombres, sino con sencillez de corazón, temiendo á Dios:
23Y todo lo que hagáis, hacedlo de ánimo, como al Señor, y no á los hombres;
24Sabiendo que del Señor recibiréis la compensación de la herencia: porque al Señor Cristo servís.
25Mas el que hace injuria, recibirá la injuria que hiciere; que no hay acepción de personas.

1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17And what soever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
23And what soever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
World English Bible
1If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
2Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
3For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.
5Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
6For these things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
7You also once walked in those, when you lived in them,
8but now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.
9Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,
10and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
11where there can’t be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, or free person; but Christ is all, and in all.
12Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;
13bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
14Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

24knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
25But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.
