Se então Deus vos ressuscitou com Cristo, procurai as coisas que são do alto, onde Cristo está assentado à direita de Deus.

SI habéis pues resucitado con Cristo, buscad las cosas de arriba, donde está Cristo sentado á la diestra de Dios.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Pensai nas coisas que são do alto, não nas que são terrenas,

Poned la mira en las cosas de arriba, no en las de la tierra.

porque já morrestes e vossa vida está escondida com Cristo em Deus.

Porque muertos sois, y vuestra vida está escondida con Cristo en Dios.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Quando Cristo, que é vossa vida, for revelado, então, vós também sereis revelados com Ele em glória.

Cuando Cristo, vuestra vida, se manifestare, entonces vosotros también seréis manifestados con él en gloria.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Portanto, mortificai os desejos pecaminosos da natureza terrena: imoralidade sexual, impureza, paixões, maus desejos e a ganância, que é idolatria.

Amortiguad, pues, vuestros miembros que están sobre la tierra: fornicación, inmundicia, molicie, mala concupiscencia, y avaricia, que es idolatría:

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

É por causa dessas coisas que a ira de Deus vem sobre os filhos da desobediência.

Por las cuales cosas la ira de Dios viene sobre los hijos de rebelión.

For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

E foi nestas coisas que uma vez andastes no passado, quando vivíeis nelas.

En las cuales vosotros también anduvisteis en otro tiempo viviendo en ellas.

In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

Mas agora deveis vos despir de todas estas coisas: ira, raiva, más intenções, insultos e palavras obscenas dos vossos lábios.

Mas ahora, dejad también vosotros todas estas cosas: ira, enojo, malicia, maledicencia, torpes palabras de vuestra boca.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

but now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.

Não mintais uns aos outros, porque já vos despistes do velho homem e suas práticas,

No mintáis los unos á los otros, habiéndoos despojado del viejo hombre con sus hechos,

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,

e vos revestistes do novo homem, o qual é renovado para o pleno conhecimento, segundo a imagem Daquele que o criou.

Y revestídoos del nuevo, el cual por el conocimiento es renovado conforme á la imagen del que lo crió;

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,

Sendo assim, não há grego nem judeu, circuncisão ou incircuncisão, nem bárbaro nem cita, nem escravo nem livre, mas Cristo é tudo e está em todos.

Donde no hay Griego ni Judío, circuncisión ni incircuncisión, bárbaro ni Scytha, siervo ni libre; mas Cristo es el todo, y en todos.

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Portanto, revesti-vos pois, como eleitos de Deus, santos e amados, de profundos sentimentos de misericórdia, bondade, humildade, mansidão e paciência.

Vestíos pues, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, de entrañas de misericordia, de benignidad, de humildad, de mansedumbre, de tolerancia;

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

Suportai-vos uns aos outros, sede graciosos uns para com os outros. Se alguém tem algo contra outrem, perdoai da mesma forma que o Senhor vos perdoou.

Sufriéndoos los unos á los otros, y perdonándoos los unos á los otros si alguno tuviere queja del otro: de la manera que Cristo os perdonó, así también hacedlo vosotros.

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

Sobre todas estas coisas, está o amor, que é o vínculo da perfeição.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Que a paz de Cristo governe os vossos corações. Foi nesta paz que vós fostes chamados em um só corpo; e sede agradecidos.

Que a palavra de Cristo habite em vós ricamente. Com toda sabedoria, ensinai e admoestai-vos uns aos outros com salmos, hinos e cânticos espirituais. Cantai com gratidão a Deus em vossos corações.

La palabra de Cristo habite en vosotros en abundancia en toda sabiduría, enseñándoos y exhortándoos los unos á los otros con salmos é himnos y canciones espirituales, con gracia cantando en vuestros corazones al Señor.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Qualquer coisa que façais em palavras ou ações, fazei tudo em nome do Senhor Jesus, dando graças a Deus Pai por meio Dele.

Esposas, sede submissas aos vossos maridos, como convém no Senhor.

Casadas, estad sujetas á vuestros maridos, como conviene en el Señor.

Maridos, amai vossas esposas e não as trateis com amargura.

Filhos, obedecei aos vossos pais em todas as coisas, porque isso é agradável ao Senhor.

Pais, não irriteis os vossos filhos, para que eles não sejam desencorajados.

Escravos, obedecei aos vossos senhores em todas as coisas, não somente quando eles estão olhando para os bajular, mas com um coração sincero, que teme ao Senhor.

Siervos, obedeced en todo á vuestros amos carnales, no sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan á los hombres, sino con sencillez de corazón, temiendo á Dios:

Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

O que quer que façais, fazei-o de todo coração como para o Senhor e não para homens.

Y todo lo que hagáis, hacedlo de ánimo, como al Señor, y no á los hombres;

And what soever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,

Sabendo que recebereis do Senhor a recompensa da vossa herança. É ao Senhor Jesus a quem servis.

Sabiendo que del Señor recibiréis la compensación de la herencia: porque al Señor Cristo servís.

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Pois qualquer um que praticar injustiça receberá a penalidade pela injustiça que fez, e não há parcialidade.

Mas el que hace injuria, recibirá la injuria que hiciere; que no hay acepción de personas.

But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
