1Maîtres, accordez à vos esclaves ce qui est juste et équitable, sachant que vous aussi vous avez un maître dans les cieux.
2Persévérez dans la prière, veillant en elle avec des actions de grâces ;
3priant en même temps aussi pour nous, afin que Dieu nous ouvre une porte pour la parole, pour annoncer le mystère du Christ, [mystère] pour lequel aussi je suis lié,
4afin que je le manifeste comme je dois parler.
5Marchez dans la sagesse envers ceux de dehors, saisissant l’occasion.
6Que votre parole soit toujours dans [un esprit de] grâce, assaisonnée de sel, afin que vous sachiez comment vous devez répondre à chacun.
7Tychique, le bien-aimé frère et fidèle serviteur et compagnon de service dans le Seigneur, vous fera savoir tout ce qui me concerne :
8je l’ai envoyé vers vous tout exprès, afin qu’il connaisse l’état de vos affaires, et qu’il console vos cœurs,
9avec Onésime, le fidèle et bien-aimé frère, qui est des vôtres. Ils vous informeront de toutes les choses d’ici.
10Aristarque, mon compagnon de captivité, vous salue, et Marc, le neveu de Barnabas, touchant lequel vous avez reçu des ordres (s’il vient vers vous, recevez-le),
11et Jésus appelé Juste, – qui sont de la circoncision. Ceux-ci sont les seuls compagnons d’œuvre pour le royaume de Dieu qui [aussi] m’ont été en consolation.
12Épaphras qui est des vôtres, esclave du christ Jésus, vous salue, combattant toujours pour vous par des prières, afin que vous demeuriez parfaits et bien assurés dans toute la volonté de Dieu ;
13car je lui rends témoignage qu’il est dans un grand travail [de cœur] pour vous, et pour ceux qui sont à Laodicée, et pour ceux qui sont à Hiérapolis.
14Luc, le médecin bien-aimé, vous salue, et Démas.
15Saluez les frères qui sont à Laodicée, et Nymphas, et l’assemblée qui [se réunit] dans sa maison.
16Et quand la lettre aura été lue parmi vous, faites qu’elle soit lue aussi dans l’assemblée des Laodicéens, et vous aussi lisez celle qui [viendra] de Laodicée.
17Et dites à Archippe : Prends garde au service que tu as reçu dans le Seigneur, afin que tu l’accomplisses.
18La salutation, de la propre main de moi, Paul. – Souvenez-vous de mes liens. La grâce soit avec vous !

1AMOS, haced lo que es justo y derecho con vuestros siervos, sabiendo que también vosotros tenéis amo en los cielos.
2Perseverad en oración, velando en ella con hacimiento de gracias:
3Orando también juntamente por nosotros, que el Señor nos abra la puerta de la palabra, para hablar el misterio de Cristo, por el cual aun estoy preso,
4Para que lo manifieste como me conviene hablar.
5Andad en sabiduría para con los extraños, redimiendo el tiempo.
6Sea vuestra palabra siempre con gracia, sazonada con sal; para que sepáis cómo os conviene responder á cada uno.
7Todos mis negocios os hará saber Tichîco, hermano amado y fiel ministro y consiervo en el Señor:
8El cual os he enviado á esto mismo, para que entienda vuestros negocios, y consuele vuestros corazones;
9Con Onésimo, amado y fiel hermano, el cual es de vosotros. Todo lo que acá pasa, os harán saber.
10Aristarchô, mi compañero en la prisión, os saluda, y Marcos, el sobrino de Bernabé (acerca del cual habéis recibido mandamientos; si fuere á vosotros, recibidle),
11Y Jesús, el que se llama Justo; los cuales son de la circuncisión: éstos solos son los que me ayudan en el reino de Dios, y me han sido consuelo.
12Os saluda Epafras, el cual es de vosotros, siervo de Cristo, siempre solícito por vosotros en oraciones, para que estéis firmes, perfectos y cumplidos en todo lo que Dios quiere.
13Porque le doy testimonio, que tiene gran celo por vosotros, y por los que están en Laodicea, y los que en Hierápolis.
14Os saluda Lucas, el médico amado, y Demas.
15Saludad á los hermanos que están en Laodicea, y á Nimfas, y á la iglesia que está en su casa.
16Y cuando esta carta fuere leída entre vosotros, haced que también sea leída en la iglesia de los Laodicenses; y la de Laodicea que la leáis también vosotros.
17Y decid á Archîpo: Mira que cumplas el ministerio que has recibido del Señor.

1Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
2Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
7All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
8Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
9With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
10Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
11And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
12Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
13For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
14Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
15Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
16And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
17And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
18The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.

1Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
2Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving,
3praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds,
4that I may reveal it as I ought to speak.
5Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
6Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
7All my affairs will be made known to you by Tychicus, the beloved brother, faithful servant, and fellow bondservant in the Lord.
8I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that he may know your circumstances and comfort your hearts,
9together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you everything that is going on here.
10Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you received instructions, “if he comes to you, receive him”),
11and Jesus who is called Justus. These are my only fellow workers for God’s Kingdom who are of the circumcision, men who have been a comfort to me.
12Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always striving for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
13For I testify about him that he has great zeal for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those in Hierapolis.
14Luke the beloved physician and Demas greet you.
15Greet the brothers who are in Laodicea, with Nymphas and the assembly that is in his house.
16When this letter has been read among you, cause it to be read also in the assembly of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the letter from Laodicea.
17Tell Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.”
18I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen.
