His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Und sprach zu mir: Mann des Wohlgefallens merke auf die Worte, die ich zu dir rede und stehe auf deine Stätte, denn ich bin jetzt zu dir gesandt. Und wie er diese Worte mit mir redete, stand ich mit Beben auf.

Und er sprach zu mir: Fürchte dich nicht, Daniel, denn seit dem ersten Tage, da du dein Herz hingabst, Verständnis zu erlangen und dich zu demütigen vor deinem Gotte, sind deine Worte erhört worden, und ich bin gekommen um deiner Worte willen.

Und wie er so mit mir diese Worte redete, schlug ich mein Angesicht nieder zur Erde und war stumm.

Und wie vermag der Knecht dieses meines Herrn zu reden mit diesem meinem Herrn, weil seit der Zeit keine Kraft in mir besteht und kein Odem mehr in mir verblieben ist.
¿Cómo pues podrá el siervo de mi señor hablar con este mi señor? porque al instante me faltó la fuerza, y no me ha quedado aliento.

Und es rührte mich wiederum einer an, der das Ansehen eines Menschen hatte, und stärkte mich,

Y díjome: Varón de deseos, no temas: paz á ti; ten buen ánimo, y aliéntate. Y hablando él conmigo cobré yo vigor, y dije: Hable mi señor, porque me has fortalecido.
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
He said, “Greatly beloved man, don’t be afraid. Peace be to you. Be strong. Yes, be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
Und er sprach: Weißt du, warum ich zu dir gekommen bin? Und jetzt kehre ich zurück, zu streiten mit dem Obersten Persiens, aber wenn ich hinausgehe, siehe, da kommt der Oberste von Griechenland.
Y dijo: ¿Sabes por qué he venido á ti? Porque luego tengo de volver para pelear con el príncipe de los Persas; y en saliendo yo, luego viene el príncipe de Grecia.
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come.
Aber ich will dir ansagen, was in der Schrift der Wahrheit verzeichnet ist, und es ist nicht einer, der sich mit mir stärkt wider diesen, als euer Oberster Michael.
Empero yo te declararé lo que está escrito en la escritura de verdad: y ninguno hay que se esfuerce conmigo en estas cosas, sino Miguel vuestro príncipe.
But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the writing of truth. There is no one who holds with me against these but Michael your prince.
