und trotz seiner Größe vernichtet werden. Dadurch wird sein Sinn stolz werden, und wenn er auch Zehntausende zu Boden streckt, wird er doch nicht die Oberhand behalten.

Y la multitud se ensoberbecerá, elevaráse su corazón, y derribará muchos millares; mas no prevalecerá.

And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

The multitude will be carried off, and his heart will be exalted. He will cast down tens of thousands, but he won’t prevail.
