Daniel 11

"No primeiro ano de Dario, o medo, Eu mesmo vim apoiar e proteger Miguel.

Y EN el año primero de Darío el de Media, yo estuve para animarlo y fortalecerlo.

Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

“As for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.

E agora, revelarei a verdade para ti. Três reis surgirão na Pérsia, e o quarto será muito mais rico que todos os outros. Quando ele ganhar poder através de suas riquezas, ele incitará todos contra o reino da Grécia.

Y ahora yo te mostraré la verdad. He aquí que aun habrá tres reyes en Persia, y el cuarto se hará de grandes riquezas más que todos; y fortificándose con sus riquezas, despertará á todos contra el reino de Javán.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

“Now I will show you the truth. Behold, three more kings will stand up in Persia. The fourth will be far richer than all of them. When he has grown strong through his riches, he will stir up all against the realm of Greece.

Um poderoso rei se levantará e governará um grande reino, e agirá de acordo com os seus desejos.

Levantaráse luego un rey valiente, el cual se enseñoreará sobre gran dominio, y hará su voluntad.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

A mighty king will stand up, who will rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

Quando ele se levantar, seu reino será quebrado e dividido para os quatro ventos do céu, e não para seus descendentes, e não terá a autoridade de antes. Pois seu reino será desenraizado e dado a outros que não são seus descendentes.

Pero cuando estará enseñoreado, será quebrantado su reino, y repartido por los cuatro vientos del cielo; y no á sus descendientes, ni según el señorío con que él se enseñoreó: porque su reino será arrancado, y para otros fuera de aquellos.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

When he stands up, his kingdom will be broken and will be divided toward the four winds of the sky, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom will be plucked up, even for others besides these.

O rei do sul se tornará forte, mas um dos seus comandantes será ainda mais forte do que ele, e governará seu reino com grande poder.

Y haráse fuerte el rey del mediodía: mas uno de los príncipes de aquél le sobrepujará, y se hará poderoso; su señorío será grande señorío.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

“The king of the south will be strong. One of his princes will become stronger than him, and have dominion. His dominion will be a great dominion.

Depois de alguns anos, no tempo certo, eles farão uma aliança. A filha do rei do sul virá ao rei do norte para confirmar o acordo. Mas ela não conservará o seu poder, nem manterá o dele. Ela será abandonada; ela e aqueles que a trouxeram, seu pai e aqueles que a apoiaram naqueles tempos.

Y al cabo de años se concertarán, y la hija del rey del mediodía vendrá al rey del norte para hacer los conciertos. Empero ella no podrá retener la fuerza del brazo: ni permanecerá él, ni su brazo; porque será entregada ella, y los que la habían traído, asimismo su hijo, y los que estaban de parte de ella en aquel tiempo.

And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

At the end of years they will join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south will come to the king of the north to make an agreement, but she will not retain the strength of her arm. He will also not stand, nor will his arm; but she will be given up, with those who brought her, and he who became the father of her, and he who strengthened her in those times.

Mas, das suas raízes, um ramo crescerá em seu lugar. Ele atacará o exército e entrará na fortaleza do rei do norte, guerreará contra eles e os conquistará.

Mas del renuevo de sus raíces se levantará uno sobre su silla, y vendrá con ejército, y entrará en la fortaleza del rey del norte, y hará en ellos á su arbitrio, y predominará.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

“But out of a shoot from her roots one will stand up in his place, who will come to the army and will enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and will deal against them and will prevail.

Ele levará seus deuses para o Egito, junto com suas figuras de metal fundido e seus preciosos vasos de prata e de ouro e, por alguns anos, evitará atacar o rei do norte.

Y aun los dioses de ellos, con sus príncipes, con sus vasos preciosos de plata y de oro, llevará cautivos á Egipto: y por años se mantendrá él contra el rey del norte.

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

He will also carry their gods with their molten images, and with their goodly vessels of silver and of gold, captive into Egypt. He will refrain some years from the king of the north.

O rei do norte invadirá a região do reino do sul, mas retornará à sua própria terra.

Así entrará en el reino el rey del mediodía, y volverá á su tierra.

So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

He will come into the realm of the king of the south, but he will return into his own land.

Seus filhos se prepararão e montarão um grande exército, o qual avançará e arrasará tudo. Ele percorrerá todo o caminho até chegar à sua fortaleza.

Mas los hijos de aquél se airarán, y reunirán multitud de grandes ejércitos: y vendrá á gran priesa, é inundará, y pasará, y tornará, y llegará con ira hasta su fortaleza.

But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

His sons will wage war, and will assemble a multitude of great forces which will come on, and overflow, and pass through. They will return and wage war, even to his fortress.

Então, o rei do sul ficará muito irado e lutará contra o rei do norte. E este levantará um grande exército, mas será derrotado.

Por lo cual se enfurecerá el rey del mediodía, y saldrá, y peleará con el mismo rey del norte; y pondrá en campo gran multitud, y toda aquella multitud será entregada en su mano.

And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

“The king of the south will be moved with anger and will come out and fight with him, even with the king of the north. He will send out a great multitude, and the multitude will be given into his hand.

O exército será arrasado, o coração do rei do sul se exaltará e derrotará dezenas de milhares, mas, mesmo assim, ele não será vitorioso.

Y la multitud se ensoberbecerá, elevaráse su corazón, y derribará muchos millares; mas no prevalecerá.

And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

The multitude will be carried off, and his heart will be exalted. He will cast down tens of thousands, but he won’t prevail.

O rei do norte erguerá um outro exército, maior que o primeiro. Alguns anos depois, o rei do norte, certamente, voltará com um exército maior, com fortes armamentos.

Y el rey del norte volverá á poner en campo mayor multitud que primero, y á cabo del tiempo de años vendrá á gran priesa con grande ejército y con muchas riquezas.

For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

The king of the north will return, and will send out a multitude greater than the former. He will come on at the end of the times, even of years, with a great army and with abundant supplies.

Naqueles tempos, muitos se levantarão contra o rei do sul. Os mais violentos entre o teu povo se juntarão a eles para cumprir a visão, mas eles tropeçarão.

Y en aquellos tiempos se levantarán muchos contra el rey del mediodía; é hijos de disipadores de tu pueblo se levantarán para confirmar la profecía, y caerán.

And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

“In those times many will stand up against the king of the south. Also the children of the violent among your people will lift themselves up to establish the vision, but they will fall.

O rei do norte virá, construirá rampas e conquistará uma cidade fortificada. As forças do sul, nem mesmo os seus melhores soldados, não serão capazes de resistir.

Vendrá pues el rey del norte, y fundará baluartes, y tomará la ciudad fuerte; y los brazos del mediodía no podrán permanecer, ni su pueblo escogido, ni habrá fortaleza que pueda resistir.

So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

So the king of the north will come and cast up a mound, and take a well-fortified city. The forces of the south won’t stand, neither will his select troops, neither will there be any strength to stand.

O invasor fará tudo o quiser contra ele, e ninguém poderá detê-lo. Ele se estabelecerá na gloriosa terra de Israel e a destruição estará na sua mão.

Y el que vendrá contra él, hará á su voluntad, ni habrá quien se le pueda parar delante; y estará en la tierra deseable, la cual será consumida en su poder.

But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

But he who comes against him will do according to his own will, and no one will stand before him. He will stand in the glorious land, and destruction will be in his hand.

O rei do norte virá com determinação e com a força de todo o seu reino, e fará um acordo com o rei do sul. A este, ele dará a sua filha em casamento para lhe destruir o reino. Porém, o plano não terá sucesso nem o ajudará.

Pondrá luego su rostro para venir con el poder de todo su reino; y hará con aquél cosas rectas, y darále una hija de mujeres para trastornarla: mas no estará ni será por él.

He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

He will set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions. He will perform them. He will give him the daughter of women, to destroy the kingdom, but she will not stand, and won’t be for him.

Depois disso, o rei do norte atentará às regiões costeiras e dominará muitas delas. Mas um comandante porá fim à sua insolência e, com audácia, lhe retribuirá.

Volverá después su rostro á las islas, y tomará muchas; mas un príncipe le hará parar su afrenta, y aun tornará sobre él su oprobio.

After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

After this he will turn his face to the islands, and will take many, but a prince will cause the reproach offered by him to cease. Yes, moreover, he will cause his reproach to turn on him.

Então, ele atentará às fortalezas da sua própria terra, mas tropeçará e cairá, e não será encontrado.

Luego volverá su rostro á las fortalezas de su tierra: mas tropezará y caerá, y no parecerá más.

Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Then he will turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land; but he will stumble and fall, and won’t be found.

Então, alguém se levantará em seu lugar e aumentará os impostos pagos para manter o esplendor do reino. Porém, em pouco dias ele será destruído, sem ira ou batalhas.

Entonces sucederá en su silla uno que hará pasar exactor por la gloria del reino; mas en pocos días será quebrantado, no en enojo, ni en batalla.

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

“Then one who will cause a tax collector to pass through the kingdom to maintain its glory will stand up in his place; but within few days he shall be destroyed, not in anger, and not in battle.

Em seu lugar, se levantará um desprezado, a quem o povo não deu a honra da realeza; ele virá tranquilamente e tomará o reino, com astúcia.

Y sucederá en su lugar un vil, al cual no darán la honra del reino: vendrá empero con paz, y tomará el reino con halagos.

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

“In his place a contemptible person will stand up, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom; but he will come in time of security, and will obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Um exército será varrido, como uma inundação, perante ele. Ambos, exército e líder, estabelecidos pela aliança, serão destruídos.

Y con los brazos de inundación serán inundados delante de él, y serán quebrantados; y aun también el príncipe del pacto.

And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

The overwhelming forces will be overwhelmed from before him, and will be broken. Yes, also the prince of the covenant.

A partir do momento em que for feita a aliança, ele agirá enganosamente; com apenas um pequeno número de pessoas se tornará forte.

Y después de los conciertos con él, él hará engaño, y subirá, y saldrá vencedor con poca gente.

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

After the treaty made with him he will work deceitfully; for he will come up and will become strong with few people.

Sem aviso, ele virá para a parte mais rica da província e fará o que nem seu pai, nem seu avô fizeram; dividirá, entre seus seguidores, o saque, a pilhagem e a riqueza. Ele tramará a derrubada das fortalezas, mas somente por um tempo.

Estando la provincia en paz y en abundancia, entrará y hará lo que no hicieron sus padres, ni los padres de sus padres; presa, y despojos, y riquezas repartirá á sus soldados; y contra las fortalezas formará sus designios: y esto por tiempo.

He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

In time of security he will come even on the fattest places of the province. He will do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers. He will scatter among them prey, plunder, and wealth. Yes, he will devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.

Ele juntará seu poder e sua coragem e reunirá um grande exército contra o rei do sul. O rei do sul travará batalha com um grande e poderoso exército, mas ele não será capaz de resistir por causa dos planos feitos contra ele.

Y despertará sus fuerzas y su corazón contra el rey del mediodía con grande ejército: y el rey del mediodía se moverá á la guerra con grande y muy fuerte ejército; mas no prevalecerá, porque le harán traición.

And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

“He will stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south will wage war in battle with an exceedingly great and mighty army, but he won’t stand; for they will devise plans against him.

Mesmo aqueles que comem suas finas comidas tentarão destruí-lo. Seu exército será varrido como uma inundação e muitos deles serão mortos.

Aun los que comerán su pan, le quebrantarán; y su ejército será destruído, y caerán muchos muertos.

Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

Yes, those who eat of his delicacies will destroy him, and his army will be swept away. Many will fall down slain.

Com seus corações voltados para o mal, esses reis se sentarão na mesma mesa, mas mentirão um ao outro. Tal diálogo não os ajudará, pois o fim virá no tempo determinado.

Y el corazón de estos dos reyes será para hacer mal, y en una misma mesa tratarán mentira: mas no servirá de nada, porque el plazo aun no es llegado.

And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

As for both these kings, their hearts will be to do evil, and they will speak lies at one table; but it won’t prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time.

Então, o rei do norte retornará para sua terra com muitas riquezas; porém, seu coração estará contra a santa aliança. Ele fará o que desejar e retornará para sua terra.

Y volveráse á su tierra con grande riqueza, y su corazón será contra el pacto santo: hará pues, y volveráse á su tierra.

Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

Then he will return into his land with great wealth. His heart will be against the holy covenant. He will take action, and return to his own land.

No tempo determinado, ele voltará e invadirá o sul novamente. Porém, desta vez não será como antes.

Al tiempo señalado tornará al mediodía; mas no será la postrera venida como la primera.

At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

“He will return at the appointed time and come into the south; but it won’t be in the latter time as it was in the former.

Pois ele terá medo dos navios de Quitim e voltará atrás. Ele se enfurecerá contra a santa aliança e mostrará benevolência para com aqueles que abandonarem a santa aliança.

Porque vendrán contra él naves de Chîttim, y él se contristará, y se volverá, y enojaráse contra el pacto santo, y hará: volveráse pues, y pensará en los que habrán desamparado el santo pacto.

For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

For ships of Kittim will come against him. Therefore he will be grieved, and will return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and will take action. He will even return, and have regard to those who forsake the holy covenant.

Seus exércitos se levantarão e profanarão o Santuário, isto é, a fortaleza; eles farão cessar os holocaustos contínuos e estabelecerão a abominação, que causará completa desolação.

Y serán puestos brazos de su parte; y contaminarán el santuario de fortaleza, y quitarán el continuo sacrificio, y pondrán la abominación espantosa.

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

“Forces from him will profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and will take away the continual burnt offering. Then they will set up the abomination that makes desolate.

Ele enganará aqueles que tiverem violado a aliança e os seduzirá, mas o povo que conhece o seu Deus será forte e tomará uma atitude.

Y con lisonjas hará pecar á los violadores del pacto: mas el pueblo que conoce á su Dios, se esforzará, y hará.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

He will corrupt those who do wickedly against the covenant by flatteries; but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.

Os sábios entre o povo instruirão a muitos. Mas tropeçarão pela espada, pelo fogo, pelo cativeiro, e serão roubados de suas posses.

Y los sabios del pueblo darán sabiduría á muchos: y caerán á cuchillo y á fuego, en cautividad y despojo, por días.

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

“Those who are wise among the people will instruct many; yet they will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder, many days.

Ao caírem, receberão uma pequena ajuda, mas muitos se juntarão a eles com falsidade.

Y en su caer serán ayudados de pequeño socorro: y muchos se juntarán á ellos con lisonjas.

Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

Now when they fall, they will be helped with a little help; but many will join themselves to them with flatteries.

Alguns dos sábios tropeçarão para que sejam refinados, limpos e purificados até o fim do tempo. Pois o tempo determinado ainda virá.

Y algunos de los sabios caerán para ser purgados, y limpiados, y emblanquecidos, hasta el tiempo determinado: porque aun para esto hay plazo.

And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Some of those who are wise will fall—to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for the time appointed.

O rei fará o que desejar. Ele exaltará e magnificará a si mesmo acima de todos os deuses, falará coisas surpreendentes contra o Deus dos deuses e prosperará até que a ira esteja completa, pois o que foi decretado se cumprirá.

Y el rey hará á su voluntad; y se ensoberbecerá, y se engrandecerá sobre todo dios: y contra el Dios de los dioses hablará maravillas, y será prosperado, hasta que sea consumada la ira: porque hecha está determinación.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

“The king will do according to his will. He will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and will speak marvelous things against the God of gods. He will prosper until the indignation is accomplished, for that which is determined will be done.

Ele não mostrará respeito pelo Deus de seus pais, nem pelo deus preferido das mulheres, ou por qualquer outro deus, pois agirá orgulhosamente e se proclamará acima de tudo.

Y del Dios de sus padres no se cuidará, ni del amor de las mujeres: ni se cuidará de dios alguno, porque sobre todo se engrandecerá.

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

He won’t regard the gods of his fathers, or the desire of women, or regard any god; for he will magnify himself above all.

Ao invés deles, ele honrará o deus das fortalezas. Ele honrará com prata e ouro, com pedras preciosas e presentes caros, um deus a quem seus antepassados não conheceram.

Mas honrará en su lugar al dios Mauzim, dios que sus padres no conocieron: honrarálo con oro, y plata, y piedras preciosas, y con cosas de gran precio.

But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

But in their place, he will honor the god of fortresses. He will honor a god whom his fathers didn’t know with gold, silver, and with precious stones and pleasant things.

Ele atacará a fortaleza mais forte com a ajuda de um deus estrangeiro. Ele dará muita honra a qualquer um que o reconheça. Ele os fará governar sobre muitos e dividirá a terra como recompensa.

Y con el dios ajeno que conocerá, hará á los baluartes de Mauzim crecer en gloria: y harálos enseñorear sobre muchos, y por interés repartirá la tierra.

Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

He will deal with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign god. He will increase with glory whoever acknowledges him. He will cause them to rule over many, and will divide the land for a price.

No tempo do fim, o rei do sul atacará. O rei do norte virá contra ele como tempestade, com carros e cavaleiros e muitos navios. Ele virá contra as terras, as atravessará e arrasará tudo.

Empero al cabo del tiempo el rey del mediodía se acorneará con él; y el rey del norte levantará contra él como tempestad, con carros y gente de á caballo, y muchos navíos; y entrará por las tierras, é inundará, y pasará.

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

“At the time of the end the king of the south will contend with him; and the king of the north will come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, with horsemen, and with many ships. He will enter into the countries, and will overflow and pass through.

Ele virá para a terra gloriosa de Israel e dezenas de milhares de israelitas cairão, mas muitos de Edom e Moabe, e os remanescentes do povo de Amom escaparão de suas mãos.

Y vendrá á la tierra deseable, y muchas provincias caerán; mas éstas escaparán de su mano: Edom, y Moab, y lo primero de los hijos de Ammón.

He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

He will enter also into the glorious land, and many countries will be overthrown; but these will be delivered out of his hand: Edom, Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Ele estenderá sua mão para as terras; a terra do Egito não escapará.

Asimismo extenderá su mano á las otras tierras, y no escapará el país de Egipto.

He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

He will also stretch out his hand on the countries. The land of Egypt won’t escape.

Terá autoridade sobre os tesouros de ouro e prata, e sobre todas as riquezas do Egito; os líbios e os etíopes o servirão.

Y se apoderará de los tesoros de oro y plata, y de todas las cosas preciosas de Egipto, de Libia, y Etiopía por donde pasará.

But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
