43Esta mezcla de hierro con arcilla también muestra que estos reinos tratarán de fortalecerse formando alianzas entre ellos a través del casamiento mutuo entre miembros de las familias de la realeza; pero esta estrategia no tendrá éxito, pues el hierro y la arcilla no se mezclan.

43Cuanto á aquello que viste, el hierro mezclado con tiesto de barro, mezclaránse con simiente humana, mas no se pegarán el uno con el otro, como el hierro no se mistura con el tiesto.

43And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

43Whereas you saw the iron mixed with miry clay, they will mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they won’t cling to one another, even as iron does not mix with clay.
