E Daniele ottenne dal re che Shadrac, Meshac e Abed-nego fossero preposti agli affari della provincia di Babilonia; ma Daniele stava alla corte del re.

Y Daniel solicitó del rey, y él puso sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: y Daniel estaba á la puerta del rey.

Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.
