Daniel 3

Le roi Nébucadnetsar fit une statue d'or d'une hauteur de soixante coudées et d'une largeur de six coudées. Il la dressa dans la plaine de Dura, dans la province de Babylone.

EL rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de oro, la altura de la cual era de sesenta codos, su anchura de seis codos: levantóla en el campo de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Et le roi Nébucadnetsar convoqua les satrapes, les chefs et les gouverneurs, les grands-juges, les trésoriers, les légistes, les juges et toutes les autorités des provinces pour qu'ils vinssent à la dédicace de la statue qu'avait dressée le roi Nébucadnetsar.

Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor á juntar los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, oidores, receptores, los del consejo, presidentes, y á todos los gobernadores de las provincias, para que viniesen á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Alors s'assemblèrent les satrapes, les chefs et les gouverneurs, les grands-juges, les trésoriers, les légistes, les juges et toutes les autorités des provinces, pour la dédicace de la statue que le roi Nébucadnetsar avait dressée ; et ils se tinrent devant la statue qu'avait dressée Nébucadnetsar.

Fueron pues reunidos los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, los oidores, receptores, los del consejo, los presidentes, y todos los gobernadores de las provincias, á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado: y estaban en pie delante de la estatua que había levantado el rey Nabucodonosor.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Et le héraut cria d'une voix forte : On vous fait savoir à vous, peuples, nations et langues,

Y el pregonero pregonaba en alta voz: Mándase á vosotros, oh pueblos, naciones, y lenguas,

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Then the herald cried aloud, “To you it is commanded, peoples, nations, and languages,

qu'au moment où vous entendrez le son du cor, du fifre, de la cithare, de la sambuque, du psaltérion, de la cornemuse et de toutes sortes d'instruments, vous aurez à vous prosterner pour adorer la statue d'or qu'a dressée le roi Nébucadnetsar.

En oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postraréis y adoraréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado:

That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

that whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.

Et quiconque ne se prosternera pas pour adorer la statue d'or sera jeté à l'instant même dans la fournaise de feu ardent.

Y cualquiera que no se postrare y adorare, en la misma hora será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace the same hour.”

C'est pourquoi au moment même où tous les peuples entendirent le son du cor, du fifre, de la cithare, de la sambuque, du psaltérion et de toutes sortes d'instruments, tous les peuples, nations et langues se prosternèrent, adorant la statue d'or qu'avait dressée le roi Nébucadnetsar.

Por lo cual, en oyendo todos los pueblos el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, se postraron, y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Là-dessus, au moment même, des hommes Chaldéens s'approchèrent pour dire du mal des Juifs.

Por esto en el mismo tiempo algunos varones Caldeos se llegaron, y denunciaron de los Judíos,

Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Ils prirent la parole et dirent au roi Nébucadnetsar : O roi, vis à jamais.

Hablando y diciendo al rey Nabucodonosor: Rey, para siempre vive.

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

They answered Nebuchadnezzar the king, “O king, live for ever!

Toi, ô roi, tu as rendu un édit portant que tout homme qui entendrait le son du cor, du fifre, de la cithare, de la sambuque, du psaltérion, de la cornemuse et de toutes sortes d'instruments, eût à se prosterner pour adorer la statue d'or ;

Tú, oh rey, pusiste ley que todo hombre en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, se postrase y adorase la estatua de oro:

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

You, O king, have made a decree that every man who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image;

et que quiconque ne se prosternerait pas pour adorer serait jeté dans la fournaise de feu ardent.

Y el que no se postrase y adorase, fuese echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

and whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace.

Or, il y a des hommes juifs que tu as préposés aux affaires de la province de Babylone, Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo : ces hommes-là n'ont pas égard à toi, ô roi ; ils ne servent pas tes dieux et ils ne se prosternent point devant la statue d'or que tu as dressée.

Hay unos varones Judíos, los cuales pusiste tú sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia; Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: estos varones, oh rey, no han hecho cuenta de ti; no adoran tus dioses, no adoran la estatua de oro que tú levantaste.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, have not respected you. They don’t serve your gods, and don’t worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Alors Nébucadnetsar, irrité et furieux, ordonna d'amener Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo. Alors ces hommes furent amenés devant le roi.

Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego. Al punto fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Nébucadnetsar prit la parole et leur dit : C'est donc avec mépris, Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo, que vous ne servez point mon dieu et que vous ne vous prosternez pas devant la statue d'or que j'ai dressée !

Habló Nabucodonosor, y díjoles: ¿Es verdad Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que vosotros no honráis á mi dios, ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado?

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Nebuchadnezzar answered them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and you don’t worship the golden image which I have set up?

Maintenant si vous êtes prêts, au moment où vous entendrez le son du cor, du fifre, de la cithare, de la sambuque, du psaltérion, de la cornemuse et de toutes sortes d'instruments, à vous prosterner pour adorer la statue que j'ai faite... Sinon, si vous n'adorez pas, vous serez jetés à l'instant même dans la fournaise de feu ardent, et quel est le dieu qui vous délivrera de mes mains ?

Ahora pues, ¿estáis prestos para que en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postréis, y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la adorareis, en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo: ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god who will deliver you out of my hands?”

Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo répondirent et dirent au roi : Nébucadnetsar, ce n'est pas à nous à te répondre sur ce point.

Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: No cuidamos de responderte sobre este negocio.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

Si vraiment notre Dieu, que nous servons, peut nous délivrer, il nous délivrera de la fournaise de feu ardent et de ta main, ô roi !

He aquí nuestro Dios á quien honramos, puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu mano, oh rey, nos librará.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

Sinon, sache, ô roi, que nous ne servirons pas tes dieux et que nous ne nous prosternerons pas devant la statue d'or que tu as dressée.

Y si no, sepas, oh rey, que tu dios no adoraremos, ni tampoco honraremos la estatua que has levantado.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Alors Nébucadnetsar fut rempli de fureur et son visage fut changé envers Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo. Il prit la parole et ordonna de chauffer la fournaise sept fois plus qu'on n'avait pensé de le faire ;

Entonces Nabucodonosor fué lleno de ira, y demudóse la figura de su rostro sobre Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: así habló, y ordenó que el horno se encendiese siete veces tanto de lo que cada vez solía.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

et il commanda à quelques-uns des hommes forts de son armée, de lier Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo et de les jeter dans la fournaise de feu ardent.

Y mandó á hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su ejército, que atasen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Alors ces hommes, avec leurs tuniques, leurs robes, leurs manteaux et tous leurs vêtements, furent liés et jetés dans la fournaise de feu ardent.

Entonces estos varones fueron atados con sus mantos, y sus calzas, y sus turbantes, y sus vestidos, y fueron echados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Then these men were bound in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other clothes, and were cast into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

Mais comme l'ordre du roi était pressant et la fournaise extraordinairement chauffée, la flamme du feu tua les hommes qui y avaient jeté Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo.

Y porque la palabra del rey daba priesa, y había procurado que se encendiese mucho, la llama del fuego mató á aquellos que habían alzado á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Et ces trois hommes, Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo tombèrent au milieu de la fournaise ardente, tout liés.

Y estos tres varones, Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, cayeron atados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Alors le roi Nébucadnetsar fut dans la stupeur et se leva précipitamment. Il prit la parole et dit à ses conseillers : N'est-ce pas trois hommes que nous avons jetés au milieu du feu tout liés ? Ils répondirent et dirent au roi : Certainement, ô roi.

Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y levantóse apriesa, y habló, y dijo á los de su consejo: ¿No echaron tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Es verdad, oh rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste. He spoke and said to his counselors, “Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire?” They answered the king, “True, O king.”

Il reprit et dit : Voici, je vois quatre hommes déliés marchant au milieu du feu, et ils n'ont point de mal ; et l'aspect du quatrième est comme celui d'un fils des dieux.

Respondió él y dijo: He aquí que yo veo cuatro varones sueltos, que se pasean en medio del fuego, y ningún daño hay en ellos: y el parecer del cuarto es semejante á hijo de los dioses.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”

Puis Nébucadnetsar s'approcha de la porte de la fournaise de feu ardent, et prenant la parole, il dit : Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo, serviteurs du Dieu suprême, sortez et venez ! Et Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo sortirent du milieu du feu.

Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó á la puerta del horno de fuego ardiendo, y habló y dijo: Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, siervos del alto Dios, salid y venid. Entonces Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, salieron de en medio del fuego.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.

Et les satrapes, les chefs, les gouverneurs et les conseillers du roi, s'étant rassemblés, virent, en regardant ces hommes, que le feu n'avait eu aucune prise sur leurs corps, qu'aucun cheveu de leur tête n'avait été brûlé, que leurs tuniques n'avaient pas changé et qu'elles ne sentaient pas le feu.

Y juntáronse los grandes, los gobernadores, los capitanes, y los del consejo del rey, para mirar estos varones, como el fuego no se enseñoreó de sus cuerpos, ni cabello de sus cabezas fué quemado, ni sus ropas se mudaron, ni olor de fuego había pasado por ellos.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed. The smell of fire wasn’t even on them.

Nébucadnetsar prit la parole et dit : Béni soit le Dieu de Sadrac, de Mésac et d'Abed-Négo, lequel a envoyé son ange et délivré ses serviteurs qui se sont confiés en lui et qui ont transgressé l'ordre du roi et livré leur corps, pour ne servir et adorer aucun autre dieu que leur Dieu.

Nabucodonosor habló y dijo: Bendito el Dios de ellos, de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que envió su ángel, y libró sus siervos que esperaron en él, y el mandamiento del rey mudaron, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que sirviesen ni adorasen otro dios que su Dios.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.

Et de ma part ordre est donné que tout peuple, nation ou langue qui parlera mal du Dieu de Sadrac, de Mésac et d'Abed-Négo sera mis en pièces, et sa maison sera réduite en cloaques, parce qu'il n'y a pas d'autre Dieu qui puisse sauver de la sorte.

Por mí pues se pone decreto, que todo pueblo, nación, ó lengua, que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, sea descuartizado, y su casa sea puesta por muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Therefore I make a decree that every people, nation, and language which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

Alors le roi donna de l'avancement à Sadrac, à Mésac et à Abed-Négo dans la province de Babylone.

Entonces el rey engrandeció á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.
