Daniel 3

O rei Nabucodonosor fez uma estátua de ouro, cuja altura era de sessenta côvados, sua largura de seis côvados; ergueu-a no campo de Dura, na província da Babilônia.

EL rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de oro, la altura de la cual era de sesenta codos, su anchura de seis codos: levantóla en el campo de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

E o rei Nabucodonosor mandou juntar os sátrapas, os prefeitos e governadores, os juízes, tesoureiros, conselheiros, os oficiais, e a todos os líderes das províncias, para que viessem à consagração da estátua que o rei Nabucodonosor havia erguido.

Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor á juntar los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, oidores, receptores, los del consejo, presidentes, y á todos los gobernadores de las provincias, para que viniesen á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Então se reuniram os sátrapas, os prefeitos e governadores, os juízes, tesoureiros, conselheiros, os oficiais, e todos os líderes das províncias, para a consagração da estátua que o rei Nabucodonosor havia erguido; e estavam em pé diante da estátua que Nabucodonosor havia erguido.

Fueron pues reunidos los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, los oidores, receptores, los del consejo, los presidentes, y todos los gobernadores de las provincias, á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado: y estaban en pie delante de la estatua que había levantado el rey Nabucodonosor.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

E o arauto proclamava em alta voz: Manda-se a vós, ó povos, nações, e línguas,

Y el pregonero pregonaba en alta voz: Mándase á vosotros, oh pueblos, naciones, y lenguas,

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Then the herald cried aloud, “To you it is commanded, peoples, nations, and languages,

Que quando ouvirdes o som da trombeta, do pífano, da cítara, da harpa, do saltério, da flauta, e de todo instrumento musical, vos prostrareis e adorareis a estátua de ouro que o rei Nabucodonosor ergueu.

En oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postraréis y adoraréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado:

That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

that whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.

E qualquer um que não se prostrar e a adorar, na mesma hora será lançado dentro de uma fornalha de fogo ardente.

Y cualquiera que no se postrare y adorare, en la misma hora será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace the same hour.”

Por isso no mesmo instante em todos os povos ouviram o som da trombeta, do pífano, da cítara, da harpa, do saltério, da flauta, e de todo instrumento musical, todos os povos, nações, e línguas se prostraram, e adoraram a estátua de ouro que o rei Nabucodonosor havia erguido.

Por lo cual, en oyendo todos los pueblos el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, se postraron, y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Therefore at that time, when all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, all the peoples, the nations, and the languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Por isso no mesmo instante alguns homens caldeus se chegaram, e acusaram dos judeus.

Por esto en el mismo tiempo algunos varones Caldeos se llegaron, y denunciaron de los Judíos,

Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Eles falaram ao rei Nabucodonosor: Ó rei, vive para sempre!

Hablando y diciendo al rey Nabucodonosor: Rey, para siempre vive.

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

They answered Nebuchadnezzar the king, “O king, live for ever!

Tu, ó rei, fizeste um decreto que todo aquele que ouvisse o som da trombeta, do pífano, do da cítara, da harpa, do saltério, da flauta, e de todo instrumento musical, se prostrasse e adorasse a estátua de ouro;

Tú, oh rey, pusiste ley que todo hombre en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, se postrase y adorase la estatua de oro:

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

You, O king, have made a decree that every man who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image;

E qualquer um que não se prostrasse e adorasse, fosse lançado dentro de uma fornalha de fogo ardente

Y el que no se postrase y adorase, fuese echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

and whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace.

Há uns homens judeus, os quais constituíste sobre os negócios da província da Babilônia; Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego; estes homens, ó rei, não te respeitaram; não servem a teus deuses, nem adoram a estátua de ouro que tu ergueste.

Hay unos varones Judíos, los cuales pusiste tú sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia; Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: estos varones, oh rey, no han hecho cuenta de ti; no adoran tus dioses, no adoran la estatua de oro que tú levantaste.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, have not respected you. They don’t serve your gods, and don’t worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Então Nabucodonosor com ira e furor, mandou trazer a Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego. Então trouxeram estes homens diante do rei.

Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego. Al punto fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in rage and fury commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. Then these men were brought before the king.

Nabucodonosor lhes disse: É verdade, Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego, que vós não servis a meus deuses, nem adorais a estátua de ouro que ergui?

Habló Nabucodonosor, y díjoles: ¿Es verdad Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que vosotros no honráis á mi dios, ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado?

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Nebuchadnezzar answered them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and you don’t worship the golden image which I have set up?

Agora pois, se estais prontos, quando ouvirdes o som da trombeta, do pífano, da cítara, da harpa, do saltério, da flauta, e de todo instrumento musical, prostrai-vos e adorai a estátua que eu fiz. Porém se não a adorardes, na mesma hora sereis lançados dentro da fornalha de fogo ardente; e quem é o Deus que vos livrará de minhas mãos?

Ahora pues, ¿estáis prestos para que en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postréis, y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la adorareis, en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo: ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god who will deliver you out of my hands?”

Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego responderam ao rei Nabucodonosor: Não necessitamos de responder sobre este negócio.

Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: No cuidamos de responderte sobre este negocio.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

Eis que nosso Deus a quem servimos pode nos livrar da fornalha de fogo ardente; e ele nos livrará de tua mão, ó rei.

He aquí nuestro Dios á quien honramos, puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu mano, oh rey, nos librará.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

E se não, sabe tu, ó rei, que não serviremos a teus deuses, nem adoraremos a estátua que ergueste.

Y si no, sepas, oh rey, que tu dios no adoraremos, ni tampoco honraremos la estatua que has levantado.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Então Nabucodonosor se encheu de furor, e o aspecto de seu rosto se mudou contra Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego. Então ele falou, e mandou que o forno fosse aceso sete vezes mais do que costumava se acender.

Entonces Nabucodonosor fué lleno de ira, y demudóse la figura de su rostro sobre Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: así habló, y ordenó que el horno se encendiese siete veces tanto de lo que cada vez solía.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

E mandou aos homens mais fortes que havia em seu exército, que atassem a Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego, para lançá-los na fornalha de fogo ardente.

Y mandó á hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su ejército, que atasen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Então estes homens foram atados com suas capas, suas calças, seus turbantes, e suas vestes, e foram lançados dentro da fornalha de fogo ardente.

Entonces estos varones fueron atados con sus mantos, y sus calzas, y sus turbantes, y sus vestidos, y fueron echados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Then these men were bound in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other clothes, and were cast into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

E visto que a palavra do rei era urgente, e a fornalha estava muitíssimo quente, a chama do fogo matou aqueles homens que tinham levantado a Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego.

Y porque la palabra del rey daba priesa, y había procurado que se encendiese mucho, la llama del fuego mató á aquellos que habían alzado á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

E estes três homens, Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego, caíram atados dentro da fornalha de fogo ardente.

Y estos tres varones, Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, cayeron atados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

These three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

Então o rei Nabucodonosor se espantou, e se levantou depressa, então perguntou aos seus conselheiros: Não lançamos três homens atados dentro do fogo? Eles responderam ao rei: É verdade, ó rei.

Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y levantóse apriesa, y habló, y dijo á los de su consejo: ¿No echaron tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Es verdad, oh rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste. He spoke and said to his counselors, “Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire?” They answered the king, “True, O king.”

Ele disse mais: Eis que vejo quatro homens soltos andando no meio do fogo, e não há neles dano algum; e a aparência do quarto é semelhante a um filho de deuses.

Respondió él y dijo: He aquí que yo veo cuatro varones sueltos, que se pasean en medio del fuego, y ningún daño hay en ellos: y el parecer del cuarto es semejante á hijo de los dioses.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”

Então Nabucodonosor se aproximou da porta da fornalha de fogo ardente, e falou: Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego, servos do Deus altíssimo, saí e vinde!Então Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego saíram do meio do fogo.

Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó á la puerta del horno de fuego ardiendo, y habló y dijo: Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, siervos del alto Dios, salid y venid. Entonces Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, salieron de en medio del fuego.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.

E juntaram-se os sátrapas, os prefeitos, os governadores, e os conselheiros do rei, para olharem estes homens, como o fogo não havia causado efeito algum em seus corpos, nem o cabelo de seus cabeças fora queimado, nem suas capas se mudaram, nem cheiro de fogo passara por eles.

Y juntáronse los grandes, los gobernadores, los capitanes, y los del consejo del rey, para mirar estos varones, como el fuego no se enseñoreó de sus cuerpos, ni cabello de sus cabezas fué quemado, ni sus ropas se mudaron, ni olor de fuego había pasado por ellos.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed. The smell of fire wasn’t even on them.

Nabucodonosor falou: Bendito seja o Deus de Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego, que enviou seu anjo, e livrou seus servos, que confiaram nele; pois violaram o mandamento do rei, e entregaram seus corpos para que servissem nem adorassem algum outro deus, a não ser o seu Deus.

Nabucodonosor habló y dijo: Bendito el Dios de ellos, de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que envió su ángel, y libró sus siervos que esperaron en él, y el mandamiento del rey mudaron, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que sirviesen ni adorasen otro dios que su Dios.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.

Portanto eu faço um decreto, que todo povo, nação, e língua, que disser blasfêmia contra o Deus de Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego, seja despedaçado, e sua casa seja se torne um amontoado de entulhos; pois não há outro deus que possa livrar como este.

Por mí pues se pone decreto, que todo pueblo, nación, ó lengua, que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, sea descuartizado, y su casa sea puesta por muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Therefore I make a decree that every people, nation, and language which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

Então o rei fez com que Sadraque, Mesaque, e Abednego fossem prósperos na província da Babilônia.

Entonces el rey engrandeció á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.
