Der Konig Nebukadnezar lieli ein gulden Bild machen, sechzig Ellen hoch und sechs Ellen breit, und lieli es setzen im Lande zu Babel im Tal Dura.

EL rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de oro, la altura de la cual era de sesenta codos, su anchura de seis codos: levantóla en el campo de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Und der Konig Nebukadnezar sandte nach den Ffirsten, Herren, Landpflegern, Richtern, Vogten, Raten, Amtleuten und alien Gewaltigen im Lande, daß sie zusammenkommen sollten, das Bild zu weihen, das der Konig Nebukadnezar hatte setzen lassen.

Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor á juntar los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, oidores, receptores, los del consejo, presidentes, y á todos los gobernadores de las provincias, para que viniesen á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Da kamen zusammen die Ffirsten, Herren, Landpfleger, Richter, Vogte, Rate, Amtleute und alle Gewaltigen im Lande, das Bild zu weihen, das der Konig Nebukadnezar hatte setzen lassen. Und sie mutiten vor das Bild treten, das Nebukadnezar hatte setzen lassen.

Fueron pues reunidos los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, los oidores, receptores, los del consejo, los presidentes, y todos los gobernadores de las provincias, á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado: y estaban en pie delante de la estatua que había levantado el rey Nabucodonosor.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Und der Ehrenhold rief fiberlaut: Das latit euch gesagtsein, ihr Volker, Leute und Zungen:

Y el pregonero pregonaba en alta voz: Mándase á vosotros, oh pueblos, naciones, y lenguas,

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Wenn ihr horen werdet den Schall der Posaunen, Trommeten, Harfen, Geigen, Psalter, Lauten und allerlei Saitenspiel, so sollt ihr niederfallen und das güldene Bild anbeten, das der Konig Nebukadnezar hat setzen lassen.

En oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postraréis y adoraréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado:

That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

that whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.

Wer aber alsdann nicht niederfallt und anbetet, der soli von Stund an in den glfihenden Ofen geworfen werden.

Y cualquiera que no se postrare y adorare, en la misma hora será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace the same hour.”

Da sie nun horeten den Schall der Posaunen, Trommeten, Harfen, Geigen, Psalter und allerlei Saitenspiel, fielen nieder alle Volker, Leute und Zungen und beteten an das guldene Bild, das der Konig Nebukadnezar hatte setzen lassen.

Por lo cual, en oyendo todos los pueblos el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, se postraron, y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Von Stund an traten hinzu etliche chaldaische Manner und verklagten die Juden,

Por esto en el mismo tiempo algunos varones Caldeos se llegaron, y denunciaron de los Judíos,

fingen an und sprachen zum Konige Nebukadnezar: Herr Konig, Gott verleihe dir langes Leben!

Hablando y diciendo al rey Nabucodonosor: Rey, para siempre vive.

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

They answered Nebuchadnezzar the king, “O king, live for ever!

Du hast ein Gebot lassen ausgehen, daß alle Menschen, wenn sie horen wurden den Schall der Posaunen, Trommeten, Harfen, Geigen, Psalter, Lauten und allerlei Saitenspiel, sollten sie niederfallen und das guldene Bild anbeten;

Tú, oh rey, pusiste ley que todo hombre en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, se postrase y adorase la estatua de oro:

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

You, O king, have made a decree that every man who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image;

wer aber nicht niederfiele und anbetete, sollte in einen gluhenden Ofen geworfen werden.

Y el que no se postrase y adorase, fuese echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

and whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace.

Nun sind da judische Manner, welche du fiber die Amter im Lande zu Babel gesetzet hast: Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego; dieselbigen verachten dein Gebot und ehren deine Gotter nicht und beten nicht an das guldene Bild, das du hast setzen lassen.

Hay unos varones Judíos, los cuales pusiste tú sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia; Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: estos varones, oh rey, no han hecho cuenta de ti; no adoran tus dioses, no adoran la estatua de oro que tú levantaste.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, have not respected you. They don’t serve your gods, and don’t worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Da befahl Nebukadnezar mit Grimm und Zorn, daß man vor ihn stellete Sadrach, Mesach und Abed- Nego. Und die Manner wurden vor den Konig gestellet.

Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego. Al punto fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Da ting Nebukadnezar an und sprach zu ihnen: Wie? wollt ihr, Sadrach, Mesach, Abed-Nego, meinen Gott nicht ehren und das guldene Bild nicht anbeten, das ich habe setzen lassen?

Habló Nabucodonosor, y díjoles: ¿Es verdad Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que vosotros no honráis á mi dios, ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado?

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Nebuchadnezzar answered them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and you don’t worship the golden image which I have set up?

Wohlan, schicket euch! Sobald ihr horen werdet den Schall der Posaunen, Trommeten, Harfen, Geigen, Psalter, Lauten und allerlei Saitenspiel, so fallet nieder und betet das Bild an, das ich habe machen lassen! Werdet ihr's nicht anbeten, so sollt ihr von Stund an in den gluhenden Ofen geworfen werden. Laftt sehen, wer der Gott sei, der euch aus meiner Hand erretten werde!

Ahora pues, ¿estáis prestos para que en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postréis, y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la adorareis, en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo: ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god who will deliver you out of my hands?”

Da fingen an Sadrach, Mesach; Abed-Nego und sprachen zum Konige Nebukadnezar: Es ist nicht not, daß wir dir darauf antworten.

Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: No cuidamos de responderte sobre este negocio.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

Siehe, unserßott, den wir ehren, kann unswohl erretten aus dem gluhenden Ofen, dazu auch von deiner Hand erretten.

He aquí nuestro Dios á quien honramos, puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu mano, oh rey, nos librará.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

Und wo er's nicht tun will, so sollst du dennoch wissen, daß wir deine Gotter nicht ehren, noch das guldene Bild, das du hast setzen lassen, anbeten wollen.

Y si no, sepas, oh rey, que tu dios no adoraremos, ni tampoco honraremos la estatua que has levantado.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Da ward Nebukadnezar voll Grimms und stellete sich scheuftlich wider Sadrach, Mesach und Abed- Nego und befahl, man sollte den Ofen siebenmal heifter machen, denn man sonst zu tun pflegte.

Entonces Nabucodonosor fué lleno de ira, y demudóse la figura de su rostro sobre Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: así habló, y ordenó que el horno se encendiese siete veces tanto de lo que cada vez solía.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

Und befahl den besten Kriegsleuten, die in seinem Heer waren, daß sie Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego banden und in den gluhenden Ofen würfen.

Y mandó á hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su ejército, que atasen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Also wurden diese Manner in ihren Manteln, Schuhen, Huten und andern Kleidern gebunden und in den gluhenden Ofen geworfen.

Entonces estos varones fueron atados con sus mantos, y sus calzas, y sus turbantes, y sus vestidos, y fueron echados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Then these men were bound in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other clothes, and were cast into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

Denn des Konigs Gebot muftte man eilend tun. Und man schurete das Feuer im Ofen so sehr, daß die Manner, so den Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego verbrennen sollten, verdarben von des Feuers Flammen.

Y porque la palabra del rey daba priesa, y había procurado que se encendiese mucho, la llama del fuego mató á aquellos que habían alzado á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

Aber die drei Manner Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego, fielen hinab in den gluhenden Ofen, wie sie gebunden waren.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Da entsetzte sich der Konig Nebukadnezar und fuhr eilends auf und sprach zu seinen Raten: Haben wir nicht drei Manner gebunden in das Feuer lassen werfen? Sie antworteten und sprachen zum Konige: Ja, Herr Konig!

Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y levantóse apriesa, y habló, y dijo á los de su consejo: ¿No echaron tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Es verdad, oh rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste. He spoke and said to his counselors, “Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire?” They answered the king, “True, O king.”

Er antwortete und sprach: Sehe ich doch vier Manner los im Feuer gehen, und sind unversehrt; und der vierte ist gleich, als ware er ein Sohn der Gotter.

Respondió él y dijo: He aquí que yo veo cuatro varones sueltos, que se pasean en medio del fuego, y ningún daño hay en ellos: y el parecer del cuarto es semejante á hijo de los dioses.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”

Und Nebukadnezar trat hinzu vor das Loch des gluhenden Ofens und sprach: Sadrach, Mesach, Abed-Nego, ihr Knechte Gottes des Hochsten, gehet heraus und kommt her! Da gingen Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego heraus aus dem Feuer.

Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó á la puerta del horno de fuego ardiendo, y habló y dijo: Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, siervos del alto Dios, salid y venid. Entonces Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, salieron de en medio del fuego.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.

Und die Fursten, Herren, Vogte und Rate des Konigs kamen zusammen und sahen, daß das Feuer keine Macht am Leibe dieser Manner beweiset hatte, und ihr Haupthaar nicht versenget und ihre Mantel nicht versehrt waren; ja, man konnte keinen Brand an ihnen riechen.

Y juntáronse los grandes, los gobernadores, los capitanes, y los del consejo del rey, para mirar estos varones, como el fuego no se enseñoreó de sus cuerpos, ni cabello de sus cabezas fué quemado, ni sus ropas se mudaron, ni olor de fuego había pasado por ellos.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed. The smell of fire wasn’t even on them.

Da fing an Nebukadnezar und sprach: Gelobet sei der Gott Sadrachs, Mesachs und Abed-Negos, der seinen Engel gesandt und seine Knechte errettet hat, die ihm vertrauet und des Konigs Gebot nicht gehalten, sondern ihren Leib dargegeben haben, daß sie keinen Gott ehren noch anbeten wollten ohne allein ihren Gott.

Nabucodonosor habló y dijo: Bendito el Dios de ellos, de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que envió su ángel, y libró sus siervos que esperaron en él, y el mandamiento del rey mudaron, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que sirviesen ni adorasen otro dios que su Dios.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.

So sei nun dies mein Gebot: Welcher unter alien Volkern, Leuten und Zungen den Gott Sadrachs, Mesachs und Abed-Negos lasted, der soil umkommen, und sein Haus schandlich verstoret werden. Denn es ist kein anderer Gott, der also erretten kann als dieser.

Por mí pues se pone decreto, que todo pueblo, nación, ó lengua, que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, sea descuartizado, y su casa sea puesta por muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Therefore I make a decree that every people, nation, and language which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

Und der Konig gab Sadrach, Mesach und Abed- Nego grofte Gewalt im Lande zu Babel.

Entonces el rey engrandeció á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.

Konig Nebukadnezar alien Volkern, Leuten und Zungen: Gott gebe euch viel Friede!

Ich sehe es fur gut an, daß ich verkündige die Zeichen und Wunder, so Gott der Hochste an mir getan hat.

Denn seine Zeichen sind graft, und seine Wunder sind machtig; und sein Reich ist ein ewiges Reich, und seine Herrschaft wahret fur und fur.
