Der König Nebukadnezar machte ein Bild von Gold: seine Höhe sechzig Ellen, seine Breite sechs Ellen; er richtete es auf in der Ebene Dura, in der Landschaft Babel.

EL rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de oro, la altura de la cual era de sesenta codos, su anchura de seis codos: levantóla en el campo de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Und der König Nebukadnezar sandte aus, um die Satrapen, die Statthalter und die Landpfleger, die Oberrichter, die Schatzmeister, die Gesetzeskundigen, die Rechtsgelehrten und alle Oberbeamten der Landschaften zu versammeln, damit sie zur Einweihung des Bildes kämen, welches der König Nebukadnezar aufgerichtet hatte.

Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor á juntar los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, oidores, receptores, los del consejo, presidentes, y á todos los gobernadores de las provincias, para que viniesen á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Da versammelten sich die Satrapen, die Statthalter und die Landpfleger, die Oberrichter, die Schatzmeister, die Gesetzeskundigen, die Rechtsgelehrten und alle Oberbeamten der Landschaften zur Einweihung des Bildes, welches der König Nebukadnezar aufgerichtet hatte; und sie standen vor dem Bilde, welches Nebukadnezar aufgerichtet hatte.

Fueron pues reunidos los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, los oidores, receptores, los del consejo, los presidentes, y todos los gobernadores de las provincias, á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado: y estaban en pie delante de la estatua que había levantado el rey Nabucodonosor.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Und der Herold rief mit Macht: Euch wird befohlen, ihr Völker, Völkerschaften und Sprachen:

Y el pregonero pregonaba en alta voz: Mándase á vosotros, oh pueblos, naciones, y lenguas,

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Sobald ihr den Klang des Hornes, der Pfeife, der Zither, der Sambuke, der Laute, der Sackpfeife, und allerlei Art von Musik hören werdet, sollt ihr niederfallen und das goldene Bild anbeten, welches der König Nebukadnezar aufgerichtet hat.

En oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postraréis y adoraréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado:

That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

that whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.

Und wer nicht niederfällt und anbetet, der soll sofort in den brennenden Feuerofen geworfen werden.

Y cualquiera que no se postrare y adorare, en la misma hora será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace the same hour.”

Darum, sobald alle Völker den Klang des Hornes, der Pfeife, der Zither, der Sambuke, der Laute, und allerlei Art von Musik hörten, fielen alle Völker, Völkerschaften und Sprachen nieder, indem sie das goldene Bild anbeteten, welches der König Nebukadnezar aufgerichtet hatte.

Por lo cual, en oyendo todos los pueblos el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, se postraron, y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Deswegen traten zur selben Zeit chaldäische Männer herzu, welche die Juden anzeigten.

Por esto en el mismo tiempo algunos varones Caldeos se llegaron, y denunciaron de los Judíos,

Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Sie hoben an und sprachen zum König Nebukadnezar:

Hablando y diciendo al rey Nabucodonosor: Rey, para siempre vive.

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

They answered Nebuchadnezzar the king, “O king, live for ever!

O König, lebe ewiglich! Du, o König, hast den Befehl gegeben, daß jedermann, der den Klang des Hornes, der Pfeife, der Zither, der Sambuke, der Laute und der Sackpfeife, und allerlei Art von Musik hören würde, niederfallen und das goldene Bild anbeten solle;

Tú, oh rey, pusiste ley que todo hombre en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, se postrase y adorase la estatua de oro:

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

You, O king, have made a decree that every man who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image;

und wer nicht niederfalle und anbete, der solle in den brennenden Feuerofen geworfen werden.

Y el que no se postrase y adorase, fuese echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

and whoever doesn’t fall down and worship shall be cast into the middle of a burning fiery furnace.

Es sind nun jüdische Männer da, welche du über die Verwaltung der Landschaft Babel bestellt hast: Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego; diese Männer, o König, achten nicht auf dich; deinen Göttern dienen sie nicht, und das goldene Bild, welches du aufgerichtet hast, beten sie nicht an.

Hay unos varones Judíos, los cuales pusiste tú sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia; Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: estos varones, oh rey, no han hecho cuenta de ti; no adoran tus dioses, no adoran la estatua de oro que tú levantaste.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, have not respected you. They don’t serve your gods, and don’t worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Da befahl Nebukadnezar im Zorn und Grimm, Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego herbeizubringen. Da wurden diese Männer vor den König gebracht.

Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego. Al punto fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in rage and fury commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. Then these men were brought before the king.

Nebukadnezar hob an und sprach zu ihnen: Ist es Absicht, Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego, daß ihr meinen Göttern nicht dienet und das goldene Bild nicht anbetet, welches ich aufgerichtet habe?

Habló Nabucodonosor, y díjoles: ¿Es verdad Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que vosotros no honráis á mi dios, ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado?

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Nebuchadnezzar answered them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and you don’t worship the golden image which I have set up?

Nun, wenn ihr bereit seid, zur Zeit, da ihr den Klang des Hornes, der Pfeife, der Zither, der Sambuke, der Laute und der Sackpfeife, und allerlei Art von Musik hören werdet, niederzufallen und das Bild anzubeten, welches ich gemacht habe...;wenn ihr es aber nicht anbetet, sollt ihr sofort in den brennenden Feuerofen geworfen werden; und wer ist der Gott, der euch aus meiner Hand erretten wird?

Ahora pues, ¿estáis prestos para que en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postréis, y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la adorareis, en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo: ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god who will deliver you out of my hands?”

Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego antworteten und sprachen zu dem König: Nebukadnezar, wir halten es nicht für nötig, dir ein Wort darauf zu erwidern.

Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: No cuidamos de responderte sobre este negocio.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

Ob unser Gott, dem wir dienen, uns aus dem brennenden Feuerofen zu erretten vermag und er wird uns aus deiner Hand, o König, erretten,

He aquí nuestro Dios á quien honramos, puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu mano, oh rey, nos librará.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

oder ob nicht, es sei dir kund, o König, daß wir deinen Göttern nicht dienen und das goldene Bild, welches du aufgerichtet hast, nicht anbeten werden.

Y si no, sepas, oh rey, que tu dios no adoraremos, ni tampoco honraremos la estatua que has levantado.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

Da wurde Nebukadnezar voll Grimmes, und das Aussehen seines Antlitzes veränderte sich gegen Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego. Er hob an und befahl, den Ofen siebenmal mehr zu heizen, als zur Heizung hinreichend war.

Entonces Nabucodonosor fué lleno de ira, y demudóse la figura de su rostro sobre Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: así habló, y ordenó que el horno se encendiese siete veces tanto de lo que cada vez solía.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

Und er befahl Männern, den stärksten Männern in seinem Heere, Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego zu binden, um sie in den brennenden Feuerofen zu werfen.

Y mandó á hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su ejército, que atasen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Da wurden diese Männer in ihren Leibröcken, Oberröcken und Mänteln und ihren sonstigen Kleidern gebunden und in den brennenden Feuerofen geworfen.

Entonces estos varones fueron atados con sus mantos, y sus calzas, y sus turbantes, y sus vestidos, y fueron echados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Then these men were bound in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other clothes, and were cast into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

Darum, weil das Wort des Königs streng, und der Ofen außergewöhnlich geheizt war, tötete die Flamme des Feuers jene Männer, welche Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego hinaufbrachten.

Y porque la palabra del rey daba priesa, y había procurado que se encendiese mucho, la llama del fuego mató á aquellos que habían alzado á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Und diese drei Männer, Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego, fielen gebunden in den brennenden Feuerofen.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Da erschrak der König Nebukadnezar, und er stand eilends auf, hob an und sprach zu seinen Räten: Haben wir nicht drei Männer gebunden ins Feuer geworfen? Sie antworteten und sprachen zu dem König: Gewiß, o König!

Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y levantóse apriesa, y habló, y dijo á los de su consejo: ¿No echaron tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Es verdad, oh rey.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste. He spoke and said to his counselors, “Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire?” They answered the king, “True, O king.”

Er antwortete und sprach: Siehe, ich sehe vier Männer frei wandeln mitten im Feuer, und keine Verletzung ist an ihnen; und das Aussehen des vierten ist gleich einem Sohne der Götter.

Respondió él y dijo: He aquí que yo veo cuatro varones sueltos, que se pasean en medio del fuego, y ningún daño hay en ellos: y el parecer del cuarto es semejante á hijo de los dioses.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”

Da trat Nebukadnezar an die Öffnung des brennenden Feuerofens, hob an und sprach: Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego, ihr Knechte des höchsten Gottes, gehet heraus und kommet her! Da gingen Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego aus dem Feuer heraus.

Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó á la puerta del horno de fuego ardiendo, y habló y dijo: Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, siervos del alto Dios, salid y venid. Entonces Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, salieron de en medio del fuego.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.

Und es versammelten sich die Satrapen, die Statthalter und die Landpfleger und die Räte des Königs; sie sahen diese Männer, daß das Feuer keine Macht über ihre Leiber gehabt hatte: das Haar ihres Hauptes war nicht versengt, und ihre Leibröcke waren nicht verändert, und der Geruch des Feuers war nicht an sie gekommen.

Y juntáronse los grandes, los gobernadores, los capitanes, y los del consejo del rey, para mirar estos varones, como el fuego no se enseñoreó de sus cuerpos, ni cabello de sus cabezas fué quemado, ni sus ropas se mudaron, ni olor de fuego había pasado por ellos.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed. The smell of fire wasn’t even on them.

Nebukadnezar hob an und sprach: Gepriesen sei der Gott Sadrachs, Mesachs und Abednegos, der seinen Engel gesandt und seine Knechte errettet hat, die auf ihn vertrauten und das Wort des Königs übertraten und ihre Leiber dahingaben, um keinem Gott zu dienen noch ihn anzubeten, als nur ihrem Gott!

Nabucodonosor habló y dijo: Bendito el Dios de ellos, de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que envió su ángel, y libró sus siervos que esperaron en él, y el mandamiento del rey mudaron, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que sirviesen ni adorasen otro dios que su Dios.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.

Und von mir wird Befehl gegeben, daß jedes Volk, jede Völkerschaft und Sprache, wer Unrechtes spricht wider den Gott Sadrachs, Mesachs und Abednegos, in Stücke zerhauen, und daß sein Haus zu einer Kotstätte gemacht werde; weil es keinen anderen Gott gibt, der auf solche Weise zu erretten vermag.

Por mí pues se pone decreto, que todo pueblo, nación, ó lengua, que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, sea descuartizado, y su casa sea puesta por muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Therefore I make a decree that every people, nation, and language which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

Alsdann beförderte der König Sadrach, Mesach und Abednego in der Landschaft Babel.

Entonces el rey engrandeció á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.
