17Esta sentença é por decreto dos vigilantes, esta exigência pela palavra dos santos; para que os viventes saibam que o Altíssimo tem o domínio dos reinos humanos, e ele os dá a quem ele quer, e constitui sobre eles até o mais inferior dos seres humanos.

17La sentencia es por decreto de los vigilantes, y por dicho de los santos la demanda: para que conozcan los vivientes que el Altísimo se enseñorea del reino de los hombres, y que á quien él quiere lo da, y constituye sobre él al más bajo de los hombres.

17This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
