Und traten hinzu und redeten mit dem Konige von dem kdniglichen Gebot: Herr Konig, hast du nicht ein Gebot unterschrieben, daß, wer in dreißig Tagen etwas bitten würde von irgendeinem Gott Oder Menschen ohne von dir, Konig, alleine, solle zu den Ldwen in den Graben geworfen werden? Der Konig antwortete und sprach: Es ist wahr, und das Recht der Meder und Perser soil niemand ubertreten.
Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.
Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
