14Cuando esto llegó a oídos del rey, le pesó mucho, y su corazón estaba decidido a mantener a Daniel a salvo, y hasta la puesta del sol estaba haciendo todo lo que estaba en su poder para liberarlo.

14El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

14Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
