*Il plut à Darius d’établir sur le royaume 120 satrapes, pour qu’ils soient dans tout le royaume ;

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
