4Entoces los otros superintendentes y gobernadores comenzaron a buscar alguna falla en la forma en que Daniel manejaba los asuntos del gobierno para así denunciarlo al rey. Pero no podían encontrar nada digno de crítica en él. Era fiel y honesto, y muy responsable.

4Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

4Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
