Daniel 6

Pareceu bem a Dario constituir sobre o reino cento vinte governadores que estivessem em todo o reino.

PARECIÓ bien á Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte gobernadores, que estuviesen en todo el reino.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom one hundred twenty local governors, who should be throughout the whole kingdom;

E sobre eles três supervisores, dos quais Daniel era um, a quem estes governadores deviam prestar contas, para que o rei não sofresse dano.

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

Então o mesmo Daniel era superior a estes governadores e supervisores, porque nele havia um espírito extraordinário; por isso o rei pensava em constituí-lo sobre todo o reino.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Então os supervisores e governadores procuravam achar alguma acusação contra Daniel a respeito do reino; mas não conseguiram achar acusação ou falta alguma, porque ele era fiel, e nenhum erro nem falta foi achada nele.

Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Then the presidents and the local governors sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion or fault, because he was faithful. There wasn’t any error or fault found in him.

Então esses homens disseram: Não acharemos acusação alguma contra este Daniel, a não ser se a acharmos contra ele na lei de seu Deus.

Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna, si no la hallamos contra él en la ley de su Dios.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these men said, “We won’t find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Então esses supervisores e governadores foram juntos ao rei, e lhe disseram assim: Ó rei Dario, vive para sempre!

Entonces estos gobernadores y presidentes se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: Rey Darío, para siempre vive:

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

Todos os supervisores do reino, os prefeitos, governadores, conselheiros e capitães, concordaram em sugerir a promulgação de um decreto real, e estabelecer um estatuto forte, que qualquer um que, no intervalo de trinta dias, fizer alguma petição a qualquer deus ou humano, a não ser a ti, ó rei, seja lançado na cova dos leões.

Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo promulgar un real edicto, y confirmarlo, que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, sino de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Agora, ó rei, confirma o decreto, e assina a escritura, para que não se mude, conforme à lei dos medos e dos persas, que não se pode revogar.

Por esta causa o rei Dario assinou o decreto por escrito.

E Daniel, quando soube que a escritura estava assinada, entrou em sua casa, e com as janelas de seu quarto abertas, voltadas para Jerusalém, punha-se de joelhos três vezes ao dia, e orava, e confessava diante de seu Deus, assim como costumava fazer antes.

Y Daniel, cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día, y oraba, y confesaba delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Então aqueles homens se juntaram, e encontraram Daniel orando e suplicando diante de seu Deus.

Entonces se juntaron aquellos hombres, y hallaron á Daniel orando y rogando delante de su Dios.

Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

Então se aproximaram e falaram diante do rei acerca do decreto real: Por acaso não assinaste o decreto que todo aquele que pedir a qualquer deus ou humano no intervalo de trinta dias, a não ser a ti, ó rei, seja lançado na cova dos leões? O rei respondeu: Esta palavra é certa, conforme a lei dos medos e dos persas, que não se pode revogar.

Llegáronse luego, y hablaron delante del rey acerca del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que pidiere á cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, excepto á ti, oh rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey y dijo: Verdad es, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se abroga.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king’s decree: “Haven’t you signed a decree that every man who makes a petition to any god or man within thirty days, except to you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered, “This thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which doesn’t alter.”

Então disseram diante do rei: Daniel, que é um dos cativos de Judá, não respeitou a ti, ó rei, nem ao decreto que assinaste; em vez disso três vezes ao dia ele faz sua oração.

Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Then they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

Quando o rei ouviu isso, pesou-lhe muito, e tentou pensar em como livrar Daniel; e até o pôr do sol trabalhou para livrá-lo.

El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Então aqueles homens foram juntos ao rei, e disseram ao rei: Sabe, ó rei, que é a lei dos medos e dos persas, que nenhum decreto um ordenança que o rei estabeleceu pode ser mudada.

Empero aquellos hombres se reunieron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto ú ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda mudarse.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Then these men assembled together to the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians, that no decree nor statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

Então o rei mandou trazerem a Daniel, e o lançaram na cova dos leões. E o rei falou a Daniel: O teu Deus, a quem tu serves continuamente, ele te livre.

Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron á Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: El Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

E foi trazida uma pedra, e foi posta sobre a abertura da cova, a qual o rei selou com seu anel, e com o anel de seus grandes, para que a sentença acerca de Daniel não fosse mudada.

Y fué traída una piedra, y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo, y con el anillo de sus príncipes, porque el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se mudase.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

Então o rei foi a seu palácio, e passou a noite em jejum; não permitiu que lhe trouxessem instrumentos musicais diante de si, e ele perdeu o sono.

Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

Então o rei se levantou pela manhã cedo, e foi depressa à cova dos leões.

E chegando perto da cova, chamou a Daniel com voz triste; e o rei falou a Daniel: Daniel, servo do Deus vivente! O teus Deus, a quem tu continuamente serves, pôde te livrar dos leões?

Y llegándose cerca del foso llamó á voces á Daniel con voz triste: y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves ¿te ha podido librar de los leones?

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

Então Daniel falou ao rei: Ó rei, vive para sempre!

Entonces habló Daniel con el rey: oh rey, para siempre vive.

Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!

Meu Deus enviou seu anjo, que fechou a boca dos leões, para que não me fizessem dano; porque diante dele se achou inocência em mim; e também contra ti, ó rei, não cometi delito algum.

El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen mal: porque delante de él se halló en mí justicia: y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Então o rei se alegrou muito por causa dele, e mandou tirar a Daniel da cova; assim Daniel foi tirado da cova, e nenhum dano se achou nele, pois havia confiado em seu Deus.

Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera á causa de él, y mandó sacar á Daniel del foso: y fué Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

Então o rei mandou trazerem aqueles homens que tinham acusado a Daniel, e foram lançados na cova dos leões, eles, seus filhos, e suas mulheres; e nem sequer haviam chegado ao fundo da cova, quando os leões os tomaram, e quebraram todos os seus ossos.

Y mandándolo el rey fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado á Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Então o rei Dario escreveu a todos os povos, nações, e línguas, que moram em toda a terra: Paz vos seja multiplicada.

Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

De minha parte é feito um decreto, que em todo o domínio de meu reino, todos tremam e temam a presença do Deus de Daniel; porque ele é o Deus vivente, que permanece para sempre; seu reino não se pode destruir, e seu domínio dura até o fim.

De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel: porque él es el Dios viviente y permanente por todos los siglos, y su reino tal que no será deshecho, y su señorío hasta el fin.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

Ele resgata e livra, e faz sinais e maravilhas no céu e na terra; ele livrou a Daniel do poder dos leões.

Que salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; el cual libró á Daniel del poder de los leones.

He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

E este Daniel foi próspero no reino de Dario, e no reinado de Ciro, o persa.

Y este Daniel fué prosperado durante el reinado de Darío, y durante el reinado de Ciro, Persa.

So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
