Daniel 6

EI piacque a Dario di costituire sopra il regno cenventi satrapi, i quali fossero per tutto il regno;

PARECIÓ bien á Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte gobernadores, que estuviesen en todo el reino.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

e sopra essi tre presidenti, de' quali Daniele era l'uno, a' quali que' satrapi rendessero ragione; acciocchè il re non sofferisse danno.

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

Or quel personaggio Daniele sopravanzava gli altri presidenti, e satrapi; perciocchè in lui era uno spirito eccellente, onde il re pensava di costituirlo sopra tutto il regno.

Pero el mismo Daniel era superior á estos gobernadores y presidentes, porque había en él más abundancia de espíritu: y el rey pensaba de ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Perciò, i presidenti, e i satrapi, cercavano il modo di trovar qualche cagione contro a Daniele, intorno agli affari del regno; ma non potevano trovare alcuna cagione, nè misfatto; perciocchè egli era fedele, e non si trovava in lui alcun fallo, nè misfatto.

Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Allora quegli uomini dissero: Noi non possiamo trovar cagione alcuna contro a questo Daniele, se non la troviamo contro a lui intorno alla legge del suo Dio.

Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna, si no la hallamos contra él en la ley de su Dios.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these men said, “We won’t find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Allora que' presidenti, e satrapi, si radunarono appresso del re, e gli dissero così: Re Dario, possa tu vivere in perpetuo.

Entonces estos gobernadores y presidentes se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: Rey Darío, para siempre vive:

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

Tutti i presidenti del regno, i magistrati, e i satrapi, i consiglieri, e i duchi, han preso consiglio di formare uno statuto reale, e fare uno stretto divieto che chiunqu farà richiesta alcuna a qualunque dio, od uomo, fra qui e trenta giorni, salvo che a te, o re, sia gettato nella fossa dei leoni.

Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo promulgar un real edicto, y confirmarlo, que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, sino de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Ora, o re, fa' il divieto, e scrivine lettere patenti, che non si possano mutare; quali son le leggi di Media, e di Persia, che sono irrevocabili.

Il re Dario adunque scrisse le lettere patenti, e il divieto.

Or Daniele, quando seppe che le lettere erano scritte, entrò in casa sua; e, lasciando le finestre della sua sala aperte verso Gerusalemme, a tre tempi del giorno si poneva inginocchioni, e faceva orazione, e rendeva grazie davanti al suo Dio; perciocchè così era uso di fare per addietro.

Y Daniel, cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día, y oraba, y confesaba delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Allora quegli uomini si radunarono, e trovarono Daniele orando, e supplicando davanti al suo Dio.

Entonces se juntaron aquellos hombres, y hallaron á Daniel orando y rogando delante de su Dios.

Ed in quello stante vennero al re, e dissero in sua presenza, intorno al divieto reale: Non hai tu scritto il divieto, che chiunque farà alcuna richiesta a qualunque dio, od uomo, di qui a trenta giorni, salvo che a te, o re, sia gettato nella fossa de' leoni? Il re rispose, e disse: La cosa è ferma, nella maniera delle leggi di Media, e di Persia, che sono irrevocabili.

Llegáronse luego, y hablaron delante del rey acerca del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que pidiere á cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, excepto á ti, oh rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey y dijo: Verdad es, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se abroga.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Allora essi risposero, e dissero in presenza del re: Daniele, che è di quelli che sono stati menati in cattività di Giudea, non ha fatto conto alcuno di te, o re, nè del divieto che tu hai scritto; anzi a tre tempi del giorno fa le sue orazioni.

Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Then they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

Allora, come il re ebbe intesa la cosa, ne fu molto dolente, e pose cura di liberar Daniele; e fino al tramontar del sole, fece suo sforzo, per iscamparlo.

El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

In quel punto quegli uomini si radunarono appresso del re, e gli dissero: Sappi, o re, che i Medi, e i Persiani hanno una legge, che alcun divieto, o statuto, che il re abbia fermato, non si possa mutare.

Empero aquellos hombres se reunieron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto ú ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda mudarse.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Allora il re comandò che si menasse Daniele, e che si gettasse nella fossa de' leoni. E il re fece motto a Daniele, e gli disse: L'Iddio tuo, al qual tu servi con perseveranza, sarà quello che ti libererà.

Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron á Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: El Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

E fu portata una pietra, che fu posta sopra la bocca della fossa; e il re la suggellò col suo anello, e con l'anello de' suoi grandi; acciocchè non si mutasse nulla intorno a Daniele.

Y fué traída una piedra, y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo, y con el anillo de sus príncipes, porque el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se mudase.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

Allora il re andò al suo palazzo, e passò la notte senza cena, e non si fece apparecchiar la mensa, e perdette il sonno.

Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

Poi il re si levò la mattina a buon'ora, in su lo schiarir del dì, e andò in fretta alla fossa de' leoni.

E come fu presso della fossa, chiamò Daniele con voce dolorosa, E il re prese a dire a Daniele: Daniele, servitore dell'Iddio vivente, il tuo Dio, al qual tu servi con perseveranza, avrebbe egli pur potuto scamparti da' leoni?

Y llegándose cerca del foso llamó á voces á Daniel con voz triste: y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves ¿te ha podido librar de los leones?

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

Allora Daniele parlò al re, dicendo: O re, possi tu vivere in perpetuo.

Entonces habló Daniel con el rey: oh rey, para siempre vive.

L'Iddio mio ha mandato il suo Angelo, il quale ha turata la bocca de' leoni, talchè non mi hanno guasto; perciocchè io sono stato trovato innocente nel suo cospetto; ed anche inverso te, o re, non ho commesso alcun misfatto.

El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen mal: porque delante de él se halló en mí justicia: y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Allora il re si rallegrò molto di lui, e comandò che Daniele fosse tratto fuor della fossa; e Daniele fu tratto fuor della fossa, e non si trovò in lui lesione alcuna; perciocchè egli si era confidato nel suo Dio.

Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera á causa de él, y mandó sacar á Daniel del foso: y fué Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

E per comandamento del re, furon menati quegli uomini che aveano accusato Daniele, e furon gettati nella fossa de' leoni, essi, i lor figliuoli, e le lor mogli; e non erano ancor giunti al fondo della fossa, che i leoni furono loro addosso, e fiaccaron loro tutte le ossa.

Y mandándolo el rey fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado á Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Allora il re Dario scrisse a tutti i popoli, nazioni, e lingue, che abitano per tutta la terra, lettere dell'infrascritto tenore: La vostra pace sia accresciuta.

Entonces el rey Darío escribió á todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, que habitan en toda la tierra: Paz os sea multiplicada:

Da parte mia è fatto un decreto: che in tutto l'imperio del mio regno si riverisca, e tema l'Iddio di Daniele; perciocchè egli è l'Iddio vivente, e che dimora in eterno; e il suo regno è un regno che non sarà giammai distrutto, e la sua signoria durerà infino al fine.

De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel: porque él es el Dios viviente y permanente por todos los siglos, y su reino tal que no será deshecho, y su señorío hasta el fin.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

Egli riscuote, e libera, e fa segni, e miracoli in cielo, ed in terra; egli è quel che ha Daniele riscosso dalle branche dei leoni.

Que salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; el cual libró á Daniel del poder de los leones.

He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Or questo personaggio Daniele prosperò nel regno di Dario, e nel regno di Ciro Persiano.

Y este Daniel fué prosperado durante el reinado de Darío, y durante el reinado de Ciro, Persa.

So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
