Daniel 6

Dario decidiu colocar sobre o reino cento e vinte governadores de províncias que governariam sobre todo o reino.

PARECIÓ bien á Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte gobernadores, que estuviesen en todo el reino.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom one hundred twenty local governors, who should be throughout the whole kingdom;

Sobre eles, havia três administradores chefes e Daniel era um deles. Esses administradores chefes foram colocados para supervisionar os governadores das províncias, para que o rei não tivesse perdas.

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

Daniel se destacava sobre os outros administradores chefes e os governadores provinciais, porque tinha um espírito extraordinário. O rei planejava o colocar sobre todo o reino.

Pero el mismo Daniel era superior á estos gobernadores y presidentes, porque había en él más abundancia de espíritu: y el rey pensaba de ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Então, os outros administradores chefes e os governadores das províncias procuraram por erros no trabalho que Daniel fazia para o reino, mas não puderam achar nenhuma corrupção ou falha no seu trabalho, porque ele era fiel; nenhum erro ou negligência foram encontrados nele.

Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Then the presidents and the local governors sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion or fault, because he was faithful. There wasn’t any error or fault found in him.

Então, aqueles homens disseram: "Não conseguimos achar nenhuma razão para nos queixarmos desse Daniel, a não ser que achemos algo contra ele em relação à lei do seu Deus".

Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna, si no la hallamos contra él en la ley de su Dios.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these men said, “We won’t find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Então, esses administradores e governadores apresentaram um plano ao rei. Eles lhe falaram: "Rei Dario, vive para sempre!

Entonces estos gobernadores y presidentes se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: Rey Darío, para siempre vive:

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

Todos os administradores chefes do reino, os governadores regionais, os governadores provinciais, os conselheiros e os governadores consultaram juntos e decidiram que tu, o rei, deves fazer um decreto e deves fazer cumpri-lo, para que quem fizer um pedido para qualquer deus ou homem, dentro de trinta dias, senão a ti, rei, essa pessoa seja lançada na cova dos leões.

Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo promulgar un real edicto, y confirmarlo, que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, sino de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Agora, rei, faz um decreto e assina o documento para que não possa ser alterado, como manda a lei dos medos e persas, de modo que este não possa ser revogado".

Ahora, oh rey, confirma el edicto, y firma la escritura, para que no se pueda mudar, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se revoca.

Então, o rei Dario assinou o documento tornando o decreto em uma lei.

Quando Daniel soube que o documento havia sido assinado como lei, ele foi para dentro da sua casa — suas janelas ficavam abertas em seu quarto superior em direção a Jerusalém —, dobrou os joelhos, como fazia três vezes ao dia, orou e deu graças a Deus, como antes.

Y Daniel, cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día, y oraba, y confesaba delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Então, esses homens, que juntos formaram a conspiração, viram Daniel fazer pedidos e clamar por ajuda a Deus.

Entonces se juntaron aquellos hombres, y hallaron á Daniel orando y rogando delante de su Dios.

Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

Então, eles se aproximaram do rei e falaram com ele sobre seu decreto: "Tu não fizeste um decreto no qual todos os que fizessem um pedido para qualquer deus ou homem durante os próximos trinta dias, exceto a ti, ó rei, deveriam ser jogados na cova dos leões?". O rei respondeu: "O assunto está resolvido, conforme foi indicado pela lei dos medos e persas, que não poderá ser anulada".

Llegáronse luego, y hablaron delante del rey acerca del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que pidiere á cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, excepto á ti, oh rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey y dijo: Verdad es, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se abroga.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king’s decree: “Haven’t you signed a decree that every man who makes a petition to any god or man within thirty days, except to you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered, “This thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which doesn’t alter.”

Então, eles responderam ao rei: "Aquele Daniel, uma das pessoas do exílio de Judá, não dá atenção a ti, rei, ou ao decreto que assinaste. Ele ora ao Deus dele três vezes ao dia".

Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Then they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

Quando o rei ouviu isso, ficou terrivelmente angustiado e pensou em como poderia livrar Daniel dessa regra. Ele trabalhou até o pôr do sol para tentar salvar Daniel.

El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Aqueles homens, que juntos formaram a conspiração, se reuniram com o rei e lhe disseram: "Sabe, rei, esta é uma lei dos medos e persas, que nenhum decreto ou estatuto que o rei estabelecer pode ser mudado".

Empero aquellos hombres se reunieron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto ú ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda mudarse.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Then these men assembled together to the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians, that no decree nor statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

Então, o rei deu uma ordem, e trouxeram Daniel e o jogaram na cova dos leões. O rei disse a Daniel: "Que o teu Deus, ao Qual tu serves continuamente, te livre dos leões".

Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron á Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: El Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

Uma pedra foi colocada sobre a entrada da cova, e o rei selou a cova com o seu anel e com os anéis dos seus nobres, para que nada pudesse ser mudado a respeito de Daniel.

Y fué traída una piedra, y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo, y con el anillo de sus príncipes, porque el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se mudase.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

Então, o rei foi ao seu palácio e, durante a noite, ficou em jejum. Nenhum entretenimento foi trazido a sua presença, e ele não conseguiu dormir.

Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

Então, no dia seguinte cedo, o rei se levantou e rapidamente foi até a cova dos leões.

Quando chegou perto da cova, chamou por Daniel com a voz triste, e disse: "Daniel, servo do Deus Vivo, o teu Deus, a Quem serves continuamente, foi capaz de te salvar dos leões?".

Y llegándose cerca del foso llamó á voces á Daniel con voz triste: y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves ¿te ha podido librar de los leones?

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

Então, Daniel disse ao rei: "Ó rei, vive para sempre!

Entonces habló Daniel con el rey: oh rey, para siempre vive.

Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!

O meu Deus mandou um anjo e fechou a boca dos leões, e eles não me machucaram, porque fui achado inocente perante Ele e também perante ti, rei, e eu não te fiz mal algum".

El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen mal: porque delante de él se halló en mí justicia: y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

O rei ficou muito feliz e ordenou que tirassem Daniel da cova. Então, Daniel foi tirado da cova. Nenhum dano foi encontrado nele, pois ele havia confiado no seu Deus.

Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera á causa de él, y mandó sacar á Daniel del foso: y fué Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

O rei deu uma ordem e eles trouxeram aqueles homens que haviam acusado Daniel e os jogaram na cova dos leões — eles, seus filhos e suas esposas. Antes de alcançarem o chão, os leões os atacaram e quebraram todos os seus ossos em pedaços.

Y mandándolo el rey fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado á Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Então, o rei Dario escreveu para todos os povos, todas as nações e línguas que vivem em toda a terra: "Que a paz aumente em vós.

Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

Faço um decreto, em todo o domínio de meu reino, pelo qual os homens tremam e temam perante o Deus de Daniel, pois Ele é o Deus Vivo e Ele vive para sempre, e o Seu reino nunca será destruído; Seu domínio não terá fim.

De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel: porque él es el Dios viviente y permanente por todos los siglos, y su reino tal que no será deshecho, y su señorío hasta el fin.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

“I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God, and steadfast forever. His kingdom is that which will not be destroyed. His dominion will be even to the end.

Ele nos protege e nos salva; Ele faz sinais e maravilhas nos céus e na terra; Ele protegeu Daniel do poder dos leões".

Que salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; el cual libró á Daniel del poder de los leones.

He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Então, Daniel prosperou durante o reinado de Dario e durante o reinado de Ciro, o persa.

Y este Daniel fué prosperado durante el reinado de Darío, y durante el reinado de Ciro, Persa.

So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
