Daniel 6

Parve bene a Dario di stabilire sul regno centoventi satrapi, i quali fossero per tutto il regno;

PARECIÓ bien á Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte gobernadores, que estuviesen en todo el reino.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

E sopra questi, tre capi, uno de’ quali era Daniele, perché questi satrapi rendessero loro conto, e il re non avesse a soffrire alcun danno.

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

Or questo Daniele si distingueva più dei capi e dei satrapi, perché c’era in lui uno spirito straordinario; e il re pensava di stabilirlo sopra tutto il regno.

Pero el mismo Daniel era superior á estos gobernadores y presidentes, porque había en él más abundancia de espíritu: y el rey pensaba de ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Allora i capi e i satrapi cercarono di trovare un’occasione d’accusar Daniele circa l’amministrazione del regno; ma non potevano trovare alcuna occasione, né alcun motivo di riprensione, perch’egli era fedele, e non c’era da trovare il lui alcunché di male o da riprendere.

Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Quegli uomini dissero dunque: “Noi non troveremo occasione alcuna d’accusar questo Daniele, se non la troviamo in quel che concerne la legge del suo Dio”.

Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna, si no la hallamos contra él en la ley de su Dios.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Allora quei capi e quei satrapi vennero tumultuosamente presso al re, e gli dissero: “O re Dario, possa tu vivere in perpetuo!

Entonces estos gobernadores y presidentes se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: Rey Darío, para siempre vive:

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

Tutti i capi del regno, i prefetti e i satrapi, i consiglieri e i governatori si sono concertati perché il re promulghi un decreto e pubblichi un severo divieto, per i quali chiunque, entro lo spazio di trenta giorni, rivolgerà qualche richiesta a qualsivoglia dio o uomo tranne che a te, o re, sia gettato nella fossa de’ leoni.

Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo promulgar un real edicto, y confirmarlo, que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, sino de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

E quando Daniele seppe che il decreto era firmato, entrò in casa sua; e, tenendo le finestre della sua camera superiore aperte verso Gerusalemme, tre volte al giorno si metteva in ginocchi, pregava e rendeva grazie al suo Dio, come soleva fare per l’addietro.

Y Daniel, cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día, y oraba, y confesaba delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Allora quegli uomini accorsero tumultuosamente, e trovarono Daniele che faceva richieste e supplicazioni al suo Dio.

Entonces se juntaron aquellos hombres, y hallaron á Daniel orando y rogando delante de su Dios.

Poi s’accostarono al re, e gli parlarono del divieto reale: “Non hai tu firmato un divieto, per il quale chiunque entro lo spazio di trenta giorni farà qualche richiesta a qualsivoglia dio o uomo tranne che a te, o re, deve essere gettato nella fossa de’ leoni?” Il re rispose e disse: “La cosa è stabilita, conformemente alla legge dei Medi e de’ Persiani, che è irrevocabile”.

Llegáronse luego, y hablaron delante del rey acerca del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que pidiere á cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, excepto á ti, oh rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey y dijo: Verdad es, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se abroga.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Allora quelli ripresero a dire in presenza del re: “Daniele, che è fra quelli che son stati menati in cattività da Giuda, non tiene in alcun conto né te, o re, né il divieto che tu hai firmato, ma prega il suo Dio tre volte al giorno”.

Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Then they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

Quand’ebbe udito questo, il re ne fu dolentissimo, e si mise in cuore di liberar Daniele; e fino al tramonto del sole fece di tutto per salvarlo.

El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Ma quegli uomini vennero tumultuosamente al re, e gli dissero: “Sappi, o re, che è legge dei Medi e de’ Persiani che nessun divieto o decreto promulgato dal re possa essere mutato”.

Empero aquellos hombres se reunieron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto ú ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda mudarse.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Allora il re diede l’ordine, e Daniele fu menato e gettato nella fossa de’ leoni. E il re parlò a Daniele, e gli disse: “L’Iddio tuo, che tu servi del continuo, sarà quegli che ti libererà”.

Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron á Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: El Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

E fu portata una pietra, che fu messa sulla bocca della fossa; e il re la sigillò col suo anello e con l’anello de’ suoi grandi, perché nulla fosse mutato riguardo a Daniele.

Y fué traída una piedra, y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo, y con el anillo de sus príncipes, porque el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se mudase.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

Allora il re se ne andò al suo palazzo, e passò la notte in digiuno; non si fece venire alcuna concubina e il sonno fuggì da lui.

Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

Poi il re si levò la mattina di buon’ora, appena fu giorno, e si recò in fretta alla fossa de’ leoni.

E come fu vicino alla fossa, chiamò Daniele con voce dolorosa, e il re prese a dire a Daniele: “Daniele, servo dell’Iddio vivente! Il tuo Dio, che tu servi del continuo, t’ha egli potuto liberare dai leoni?”

Y llegándose cerca del foso llamó á voces á Daniel con voz triste: y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves ¿te ha podido librar de los leones?

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

Allora Daniele disse al re: “O re, possa tu vivere in perpetuo!

Entonces habló Daniel con el rey: oh rey, para siempre vive.

Il mio Dio ha mandato il suo angelo e ha chiuso la bocca de’ leoni che non m’hanno fatto alcun male, perché io sono stato trovato innocente nel suo cospetto; e anche davanti a te, o re, non ho fatto alcun male”.

El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen mal: porque delante de él se halló en mí justicia: y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Allora il re fu ricolmo di gioia, e ordinò che Daniele fosse tratto fuori dalla fossa; e Daniele fu tratto fuori dalla fossa, e non si trovò su di lui lesione di sorta, perché s’era confidato nel suo Dio.

Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera á causa de él, y mandó sacar á Daniel del foso: y fué Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

E per ordine del re furon menati quegli uomini che avevano accusato Daniele, e furon gettati nella fossa de’ leoni, essi, i loro figliuoli e le loro mogli; e non erano ancora giunti in fondo alla fossa, che i leoni furono loro addosso, e fiaccaron loro tutte le ossa.

Y mandándolo el rey fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado á Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Allora il re Dario scrisse a tutti i popoli, a tutte le nazioni e lingue che abitavano su tutta la terra: “La vostra pace abbondi!

Io decreto che in tutto il dominio del mio regno si tema e si tremi nel cospetto dell’Iddio di Daniele; perch’egli è l’Iddio vivente, che sussiste in eterno; il suo regno non sarà mai distrutto, e il suo dominio durerà sino alla fine.

De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel: porque él es el Dios viviente y permanente por todos los siglos, y su reino tal que no será deshecho, y su señorío hasta el fin.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

Egli libera e salva, e opera segni e prodigi in cielo e in terra; egli è quei che ha liberato Daniele dalle branche dei leoni”.

Que salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; el cual libró á Daniel del poder de los leones.

He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

E questo Daniele prosperò sotto il regno di Dario, e sotto il regno di Ciro, il Persiano.

Y este Daniel fué prosperado durante el reinado de Darío, y durante el reinado de Ciro, Persa.

So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
