Daniel 6

(06-2) Darius aber fand es für gut, hundertzwanzig Satrapen über das Reich zu setzen und sie im ganzen Reiche zu verteilen.

PARECIÓ bien á Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte gobernadores, que estuviesen en todo el reino.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

(06-3) Über diese aber setzte er drei Fürsten, von welchen Daniel einer war; diesen sollten jene Satrapen Rechenschaft ablegen, damit der König keinen Schaden erleide.

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

(06-4) Da sich nun dieser Daniel vor allen Fürsten und Satrapen auszeichnete, weil ein so vortrefflicher Geist in ihm war, so nahm sich der König vor, ihn über das ganze Reich zu setzen.

Pero el mismo Daniel era superior á estos gobernadores y presidentes, porque había en él más abundancia de espíritu: y el rey pensaba de ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

(06-5) Da suchten alsbald die Fürsten und Satrapen eine Anklage gegen Daniel zu finden auf Grund seiner Regierung; aber sie konnten keine Schuld noch irgend etwas Nachteiliges finden, weil er ganz treu und keine Vernachlässigung noch irgend ein Vergehen bei ihm zu finden war.

Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

(06-6) Da sprachen jene Männer: Wir werden gegen diesen Daniel keinen Anklagegrund finden, es sei denn in seinem Gottesdienst!

Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna, si no la hallamos contra él en la ley de su Dios.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

(06-7) Darauf bestürmten jene Fürsten und Satrapen den König und sprachen: König Darius, lebe ewiglich!

Entonces estos gobernadores y presidentes se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: Rey Darío, para siempre vive:

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

(06-8) Sämtliche Fürsten des Königreichs, die Landpfleger und Satrapen, die Räte und Statthalter erachten es für ratsam, daß eine Verordnung aufgestellt und ein Verbot erlassen werde, wonach jeder, der innert dreißig Tagen irgend eine Bitte an irgend einen Gott oder Menschen richtet, außer an dich allein, o König, in den Löwenzwinger geworfen werden soll.

Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo promulgar un real edicto, y confirmarlo, que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, sino de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

(06-9) Nun, o König, erlaß das Gebot und unterschreibe das Edikt, damit es unabänderlich sei wie das Gesetz der Meder und Perser, welches unwiderruflich ist.

(06-10) Daraufhin unterschrieb der König das Edikt und Verbot.

(06-11) Als nun Daniel erfuhr, daß das Edikt unterschrieben sei, ging er hinauf in sein Haus (er hatte aber in seinem Obergemach offene Fenster gen Jerusalem); und er fiel des Tages dreimal auf die Knie nieder, betete und dankte vor seinem Gott, ganz wie er vordem zu tun pflegte.

Y Daniel, cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día, y oraba, y confesaba delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

(06-12) Da stürmten jene Männer herein und fanden Daniel bittend und flehend vor seinem Gott.

(06-13) Alsbald erschienen sie vor dem König und brachten das königliche Verbot zur Sprache: Hast du nicht ein Verbot unterschrieben, wonach jeder, der innert dreißig Tagen von irgend einem Gott oder Menschen etwas erbitte, außer von dir allein, o König, in den Löwenzwinger geworfen werden soll? Der König antwortete und sprach: Die Sache steht fest nach dem Gesetz der Meder und Perser, welches unwiderruflich ist!

Llegáronse luego, y hablaron delante del rey acerca del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que pidiere á cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, excepto á ti, oh rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey y dijo: Verdad es, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se abroga.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

(06-14) Da antworteten sie und sprachen: Daniel, einer der gefangenen Juden, nimmt keine Rücksicht auf dich und achtet nicht auf das Verbot, das du unterzeichnet hast, sondern er verrichtet dreimal des Tages sein Gebet!

Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

(06-15) Als der König solches vernahm, wurde er sehr betrübt, und er sann darüber nach, wie er den Daniel retten könnte, und gab sich Mühe bis zum Sonnenuntergang, ihn zu befreien.

El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

(06-16) Da bestürmten jene Männer den König und sprachen: Wisse, o König, daß nach dem Gesetz der Meder und Perser jedes Verbot und Gebot, das der König bestätigt hat, unwiderruflich ist!

Empero aquellos hombres se reunieron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto ú ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda mudarse.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

(06-17) Da befahl der König, daß man Daniel herbringe und in den Löwenzwinger werfe. Der König hob an und sprach zu Daniel: Dein Gott, dem du ohne Unterlaß dienst, der rette dich!

Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron á Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: El Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

(06-18) Und man brachte einen Stein und legte ihn auf die Öffnung des Zwingers, und der König versah ihn mit seinem Siegel und mit dem Siegel seiner Gewaltigen, damit in der Sache Daniels nichts geändert werde.

Y fué traída una piedra, y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo, y con el anillo de sus príncipes, porque el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se mudase.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

(06-19) Dann zog sich der König in seinen Palast zurück, verbrachte die Nacht fastend, ließ keine Frauen zu sich führen, und der Schlaf floh ihn.

(06-20) Beim Anbruch der Morgenröte aber stand der König auf und begab sich eilends zum Löwenzwinger.

(06-21) Und als er sich dem Zwinger näherte, rief er Daniel mit kläglicher Stimme. Der König hob an und sprach zu Daniel: Daniel, du Knecht des lebendigen Gottes, hat dich dein Gott, dem du ohne Unterlaß dienst, auch von den Löwen zu retten vermocht?

Y llegándose cerca del foso llamó á voces á Daniel con voz triste: y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves ¿te ha podido librar de los leones?

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

(06-22) Da redete Daniel mit dem König und sprach: O König, lebe ewiglich!

Entonces habló Daniel con el rey: oh rey, para siempre vive.

Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

(06-23) Mein Gott hat seinen Engel gesandt und der Löwen Rachen verschlossen, daß sie mir kein Leid zufügten, weil vor ihm meine Unschuld offenbar war und ich auch vor dir nichts Böses verübt habe!

El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen mal: porque delante de él se halló en mí justicia: y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

(06-24) Da ward der König sehr froh und befahl, Daniel aus dem Zwinger heraufzuziehen. Als man aber Daniel aus dem Zwinger heraufgebracht hatte, fand sich kein Schaden an ihm; denn er hatte seinem Gott vertraut.

Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera á causa de él, y mandó sacar á Daniel del foso: y fué Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

(06-25) Da ließ der König jene Männer herbeiholen, welche Daniel verklagt hatten. Die wurden samt ihren Söhnen und Weibern in den Löwenzwinger geworfen; und ehe sie noch den Boden des Zwingers berührten, bemächtigten sich ihrer die Löwen und zermalmten ihnen alle Gebeine.

Y mandándolo el rey fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado á Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

(06-26) Darauf schrieb der König Darius an alle Völker, Stämme und Zungen, welche im ganzen Lande wohnten: «Euer Friede nehme zu!

(06-27) Es ist von mir ein Befehl erlassen worden, daß man im ganzen Bereich meiner Herrschaft sich vor dem Gott Daniels fürchten und scheuen soll; denn er ist der lebendige Gott, welcher ewig bleibt; und sein Königreich ist unvergänglich, und seine Herrschaft hat kein Ende.

De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel: porque él es el Dios viviente y permanente por todos los siglos, y su reino tal que no será deshecho, y su señorío hasta el fin.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

(06-28) Er errettet und befreit, er tut Zeichen und Wunder am Himmel und auf Erden; er hat Daniel aus der Gewalt der Löwen errettet!»

Que salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; el cual libró á Daniel del poder de los leones.

(06-29) Und diesem Daniel ging es fortan gut unter der Regierung des Darius und unter derjenigen Kores`, des Persers.

Y este Daniel fué prosperado durante el reinado de Darío, y durante el reinado de Ciro, Persa.
