Daniel 7

No primeiro ano de Belsazar, rei da Babilônia, Daniel viu um sonho, e visões de sua cabeça em sua cama; logo escreveu o sonho, e anotou o resumo das coisas.

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

Daniel disse: Eu estava vendo em minha visão de noite, e eis que os quatro ventos do céu atormentavam o grande mar.

Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

E quatro grandes animais subiam do mar, diferentes um do outro.

Y cuatro bestias grandes, diferentes la una de la otra, subían de la mar.

And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

O primeiro era como leão, e tinha asas de águia. Eu estava olhando, até que suas asas lhe foram arrancadas; e foi levantado da terra; e posto de pé como um ser humano, e foi lhe dado um coração humano.

La primera era como león, y tenía alas de águila. Yo estaba mirando hasta tanto que sus alas fueron arrancadas, y fué quitada de la tierra; y púsose enhiesta sobre los pies á manera de hombre, y fuéle dado corazón de hombre.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

E eis outra segundo animal, semelhante a um urso, a qual se levantou por um lado, e tinha em sua boca três costelas entre seus dentes; e foi lhe dito assim: Levanta-te, devora muita carne.

Y he aquí otra segunda bestia, semejante á un oso, la cual se puso al un lado, y tenía en su boca tres costillas entre sus dientes; y fuéle dicho así: Levántate, traga carne mucha.

And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

“Behold, there was another animal, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth. They said this to it: ‘Arise! Devour much flesh!’

Depois disto eu estava olhando, e eis outro, semelhante a um leopardo, e tinha quatro asas de ave em suas costas; este animal também tinha quatro cabeças; e foi lhe dado domínio.

Después de esto yo miraba, y he aquí otra, semejante á un tigre, y tenía cuatro alas de ave en sus espaldas: tenía también esta bestia cuatro cabezas; y fuéle dada potestad.

After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

Depois disto eu estava olhando nas visões da noite, e eis o quarta besta, terrível e espantoso, e muito forte. Ele tinha grandes dentes de ferro; devorava e quebrava em pedaços, e as sobras pisava com seus pés: e era diferente de todos os animais que foram antes dele; e tinha dez chifres.

Después de esto miraba yo en las visiones de la noche, y he aquí la cuarta bestia, espantosa y terrible, y en grande manera fuerte; la cual tenía unos dientes grandes de hierro: devoraba y desmenuzaba, y las sobras hollaba con sus pies: y era muy diferente de todas las bestias que habían sido antes de ella, y tenía diez cuernos.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

“After this I saw in the night visions, and, behold, there was a fourth animal, awesome, powerful, and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth. It devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet. It was different from all the animals that were before it. It had ten horns.

Enquanto eu estava observando os chifres, eis que outro chifre pequeno subia entre eles, e três dos primeiros chifres foram arrancados de diante dele; e eis que neste chifre havia olhos como olhos humanos, e uma boca que falava coisas arrogantes.

Estando yo contemplando los cuernos, he aquí que otro cuerno pequeño subía entre ellos, y delante de él fueron arrancados tres cuernos de los primeros; y he aquí, en este cuerno había ojos como ojos de hombre, y una boca que hablaba grandezas.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Eu estive olhando até que foram postos tronos, e um Ancião de dias se sentou; sua veste era branca como a neve, e o cabelo de sua cabeça como lã limpa; seu trono era chamas de fogo, e suas rodas fogo ardente.

Estuve mirando hasta que fueron puestas sillas: y un Anciano de grande edad se sentó, cuyo vestido era blanco como la nieve, y el pelo de su cabeza como lana limpia; su silla llama de fuego, sus ruedas fuego ardiente.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

“I watched until thrones were placed, and one who was Ancient of Days sat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire.

Um rio de fogo manava e saía de diante dele; milhares de milhares lhe serviam, e milhões de milhões estavam de pé diante dele: o julgamento começou, e os livros foram abertos.

Un río de fuego procedía y salía de delante de él: millares de millares le servían, y millones de millones asistían delante de él: el Juez se sentó, y los libros se abrieron.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Então eu estive olhando por causa da voz das palavras arrogantes que o chifre falava; estive olhando, até que mataram o animal, e seu corpo foi destruído, e entregue para ser queimado no fogo.

Yo entonces miraba á causa de la voz de las grandes palabras que hablaba el cuerno; miraba hasta tanto que mataron la bestia, y su cuerpo fué deshecho, y entregado para ser quemado en el fuego.

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

“I watched at that time because of the voice of the arrogant words which the horn spoke. I watched even until the animal was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.

E quanto aos outros animais, seu domínio foi tirado; porém lhes fora dada prolongação de vida até um certo tempo.

Habían también quitado á las otras bestias su señorío, y les había sido dada prolongación de vida hasta cierto tiempo.

As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

Eu estava vendo em minhas visões de noite, e eis que estava vindo nas nuvens do céu como um filho do homem; e ele chegou até o Ancião de dias, e o fizeram chegar diante dele.

Miraba yo en la visión de la noche, y he aquí en las nubes del cielo como un hijo de hombre que venía, y llegó hasta el Anciano de grande edad, é hiciéronle llegar delante de él.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

“I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him.

E foi lhe dado domínio, honra, e reino, de modo que todos os povos, nações e línguas lhe serviram; seu domínio é um domínio eterno, que não passará, e seu reino não será destruído.

Y fuéle dado señorío, y gloria, y reino; y todos los pueblos, naciones y lenguas le sirvieron; su señorío, señorío eterno, que no será transitorio, y su reino que no se corromperá.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Quanto a mim, Daniel, meu espírito foi perturbado dentro do corpo, e as visões de minha cabeça me espantaram.

Mi espíritu fué turbado, yo Daniel, en medio de mi cuerpo, y las visiones de mi cabeza me asombraron.

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

Cheguei-me a um dos que estavam em pé, e lhe perguntei a verdade acerca de tudo isto. E ele me disse, e me fez saber a interpretação das coisas.

Lleguéme á uno de los que asistían, y preguntéle la verdad acerca de todo esto. Y hablóme, y declaróme la interpretación de las cosas.

I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

Estas grandes animais, que são quatro, são quatro reis, que se levantarão da terra.

Estas grandes bestias, las cuales son cuatro, cuatro reyes son, que se levantarán en la tierra.

These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

Mas os santos do Altíssimo receberão o reino; e possuirão o reino para todo o sempre, eternamente.

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Então tive desejo de saber a verdade acerca do quarto animal, que era tão diferente de todos os outros, muito terrível, que tinha dentes de ferro, e unhas de bronze, que devorava, quebrava em pedaços, e as sobras pisava com seus pés;

Entonces tuve deseo de saber la verdad acerca de la cuarta bestia, que tan diferente era de todas las otras, espantosa en gran manera, que tenía dientes de hierro, y sus uñas de metal, que devoraba y desmenuzaba, y las sobras hollaba con sus pies:

Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

“Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth animal, which was different from all of them, exceedingly terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of bronze; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet;

Assim como dos dez chifres que estavam em sua cabeça, e do outro que havia subido, de diante do qual três tinham caído; daquele chifre que tinha olhos, e boca que falava coisas arrogantes, e cuja aparência era maior que a de seus companheiros.

Asimismo acerca de los diez cuernos que tenía en su cabeza, y del otro que había subido, de delante del cual habían caído tres: y este mismo cuerno tenía ojos, y boca que hablaba grandezas, y su parecer mayor que el de sus compañeros.

And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

Eu estava vendo que este chifre fazia guerra contra os santos, e os vencia,

Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Ele disse assim: O quarto animal será um quarto reino na terra, o qual será diferente de todos os reinos; e devorará toda a terra, e a pisará, e a quebrará em pedaços.

Dijo así: La cuarta bestia será un cuarto reino en la tierra, el cual será más grande que todos los otros reinos, y á toda la tierra devorará, y la hollará, y la despedazará.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

“So he said, ‘The fourth animal will be a fourth kingdom on earth, which will be different from all the kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth, and will tread it down and break it in pieces.

E os dez chifres significam que daquele reino se levantarão dez reis; e após deles se levantará outro, o qual será diferente dos primeiros, e humilhará a três reis.

Y los diez cuernos significan que de aquel reino se levantarán diez reyes; y tras ellos se levantará otro, el cual será mayor que los primeros, y á tres reyes derribará.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

As for the ten horns, ten kings will arise out of this kingdom. Another will arise after them; and he will be different from the former, and he will put down three kings.

E falará palavras contra o Altíssimo, e destruirá os santos do Altíssimo; e pensará em mudar os tempos e a lei; e serão entregues em sua mão por um tempo, e tempos, e metade de um tempo.

Y hablará palabras contra el Altísimo, y á los santos del Altísimo quebrantará, y pensará en mudar los tiempos y la ley: y entregados serán en su mano hasta tiempo, y tiempos, y el medio de un tiempo.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

He will speak words against the Most High, and will wear out the saints of the Most High. He will plan to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time.

Porém o julgamento começará, e tirarão seu domínio, para que seja destruído e aniquilado até o fim;

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

E o reino, o domínio, e a majestade dos reinos debaixo de todo o céu, será dado ao povo dos santos do Altíssimo; seu reino será um reino eterno, e todos os domínios lhe servirão e obedecerão.

Y que el reino, y el señorío, y la majestad de los reinos debajo de todo el cielo, sea dado al pueblo de los santos del Altísimo; cuyo reino es reino eterno, y todos los señoríos le servirán y obedecerán.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole sky, will be given to the people of the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions will serve and obey him.’

Até aqui foi o fim do relato. Quanto a mim, Daniel, meus pensamentos me espantavam muito, e mudou-se meu semblante em mim; mas guardei o relato em meu coração.

Hasta aquí fué el fin de la plática. Yo Daniel, mucho me turbaron mis pensamientos, y mi rostro se me mudó: mas guardé en mi corazón el negocio.

Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

“Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts troubled me greatly, and my face was changed in me; but I kept the matter in my heart.”
