Daniel 8

Y le fue dado poder contra el sacrificio perpetuo, a causa de los pecados del pueblo; y la verdad será abatida sobre la tierra; y él emprenderá cuanto se le antoje, y saldrá con su empresa.

Y el ejército fuéle entregado á causa de la prevaricación sobre el continuo sacrificio: y echó por tierra la verdad, é hizo cuanto quiso, y sucedióle prósperamente.

And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

The army was given over to it together with the continual burnt offering through disobedience. It cast down truth to the ground, and it did its pleasure and prospered.
