Daniel 8

Im dritten Regierungsjahre des Königs Belsazar erschien mir, Daniel, ein Gesicht nach jenem, das mir als erstes erschienen war.

EN el año tercero del reinado del rey Belsasar, me apareció una visión á mí, Daniel, después de aquella que me había aparecido antes.

In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

Als ich das Gesicht hatte, war es mir beim Anschauen, als ob ich mich in der Burg Susa, die in der Landschaft Elam liegt, befände; und ich sah mich in diesem Gesicht am Fluß Ulai.

Vi en visión, (y aconteció cuando vi, que yo estaba en Susán, que es cabecera del reino en la provincia de Persia;) vi pues en visión, estando junto al río Ulai,

And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

I saw the vision. Now it was so, that when I saw, I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.

Als ich nun meine Augen aufschlug und Umschau hielt, sah ich da einen Widder, der vor dem Fluß stand und zwei Hörner hatte; beide Hörner waren hoch, aber das eine war höher als das andere, und das höhere war zuletzt emporgewachsen.

Y alcé mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí un carnero que estaba delante del río, el cual tenía dos cuernos: y aunque eran altos, el uno era más alto que el otro; y el más alto subió á la postre.

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

Ich sah nun, wie der Widder nach Westen und nach Norden und nach Süden stieß, und kein einziges Tier konnte ihm widerstehen und niemand vermochte aus seiner Gewalt zu erretten, und er tat, was ihm beliebte, und wurde immer stärker.

Vi que el carnero hería con los cuernos al poniente, al norte, y al mediodía, y que ninguna bestia podía parar delante de él, ni había quien escapase de su mano: y hacía conforme á su voluntad, y engrandecíase.

I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward. No animals could stand before him. There wasn’t any who could deliver out of his hand, but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.

Während ich ihn noch aufmerksam betrachtete, sah ich einen Ziegenbock von Westen her über die ganze Erde weg kommen, ohne daß er den Boden (mit den Füßen) berührte, und der Bock hatte ein ansehnliches Horn zwischen seinen Augen.

Y estando yo considerando, he aquí un macho de cabrío venía de la parte del poniente sobre la haz de toda la tierra, el cual no tocaba la tierra: y tenía aquel macho de cabrío un cuerno notable entre sus ojos:

And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

Als er nun bis zu dem Widder mit den zwei Hörnern, den ich vor dem Fluß hatte stehen sehen, gekommen war, rannte er wütend mit aller Kraft auf ihn los.

Y vino hasta el carnero que tenía los dos cuernos, al cual había yo visto que estaba delante del río, y corrió contra él con la ira de su fortaleza.

And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

Ich sah dann, wie er nahe an den Widder herankam und sich erbittert auf ihn stürzte und den Widder stieß und ihm seine beiden Hörner zerbrach; und da der Widder nicht stark genug war, ihm zu widerstehen, schleuderte er ihn zu Boden und zertrat ihn, und niemand war da, der den Widder aus seiner Gewalt gerettet hätte.

Y vilo que llegó junto al carnero, y levantóse contra él, é hiriólo, y quebró sus dos cuernos, porque en el carnero no había fuerzas para parar delante de él: derribólo por tanto en tierra, y hollólo; ni hubo quien librase al carnero de su mano.

And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and struck the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. There was no one who could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Hierauf wurde der Ziegenbock überaus groß, als er aber am stärksten war, brach das große Horn ab, und vier andere ansehnliche Hörner wuchsen an seiner Stelle hervor nach den vier Himmelsgegenden hin.

Y engrandecióse en gran manera el macho de cabrío; y estando en su mayor fuerza, aquel gran cuerno fué quebrado, y en su lugar subieron otros cuatro maravillosos hacia los cuatro vientos del cielo.

Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

The male goat magnified himself exceedingly. When he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable horns toward the four winds of the sky.

Aus einem von ihnen aber kam ein anderes kleines Horn zum Vorschein, das dann über die Maßen groß wurde gegen Süden und gegen Osten und gegen das Prachtland der Erde.

Y del uno de ellos salió un cuerno pequeño, el cual creció mucho al mediodía, y al oriente, y hacia la tierra deseable.

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

Ja, es wuchs bis zum Heer des Himmels empor und warf einige von dem Heere und von den Sternen auf die Erde hinab und zertrat sie.

Y engrandecióse hasta el ejército del cielo; y parte del ejército y de las estrellas echó por tierra, y las holló.

And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

It grew great, even to the army of the sky; and it cast down some of the army and of the stars to the ground and trampled on them.

Sogar bis zu dem Fürsten des Heeres erhob es sich mit seiner Überhebung, so daß diesem das tägliche Opfer entzogen und die Stätte seines Heiligtums entehrt wurde;

Aun contra el príncipe de la fortaleza se engrandeció, y por él fué quitado el continuo sacrificio, y el lugar de su santuario fué echado por tierra.

Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

Yes, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the army; and it took away from him the continual burnt offering, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

und auf das tägliche Opfer wurde das Frevelopfer gelegt, und (das Horn) warf die Wahrheit zu Boden, und was es unternahm, das gelang ihm.

Y el ejército fuéle entregado á causa de la prevaricación sobre el continuo sacrificio: y echó por tierra la verdad, é hizo cuanto quiso, y sucedióle prósperamente.

And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

The army was given over to it together with the continual burnt offering through disobedience. It cast down truth to the ground, and it did its pleasure and prospered.

Da hörte ich einen Heiligen reden; es fragte nämlich ein Heiliger den betreffenden, der da redete: »Bis wann geht das Gesicht, daß das tägliche Opfer aufgehoben und der verwüstende Frevel aufgestellt und das Heiligtum zur Zertretung dahingegeben ist?«

Y oí un santo que hablaba; y otro de los santos dijo á aquél que hablaba: ¿Hasta cuándo durará la visión del continuo sacrificio, y la prevaricación asoladora que pone el santuario y el ejército para ser hollados?

Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke, “How long will the vision about the continual burnt offering, and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot be?”

Da antwortete er ihm: »Bis zu zweitausenddreihundert Abend-Morgen, dann wird das Heiligtum gerechtfertigt werden.«

Y él me dijo: Hasta dos mil y trescientos días de tarde y mañana; y el santuario será purificado.

And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

He said to me, “To two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings. Then the sanctuary will be cleansed.”

Als nun ich, Daniel, das Gesicht sah und es zu verstehen suchte, sah ich plötzlich Einen mir gegenüber stehen, der wie ein Mann aussah.

Y acaeció que estando yo Daniel considerando la visión, y buscando su inteligencia, he aquí, como una semejanza de hombre se puso delante de mí.

And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

When I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. Then behold, there stood before me someone with the appearance of a man.

Dann hörte ich eine Menschenstimme über dem Ulai laut rufen: »Gabriel, erkläre diesem da das Gesicht!«

Y oí una voz de hombre entre las riberas de Ulai, que gritó y dijo: Gabriel, enseña la visión á éste.

And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

Da kam er auf den Ort zu, wo ich stand; und als ich bei seiner Annäherung erschrak und mich auf mein Angesicht niederwarf, sagte er zu mir: »Gib acht, Menschenkind! Denn das Gesicht bezieht sich auf die Endzeit.«

Vino luego cerca de donde yo estaba; y con su venida me asombré, y caí sobre mi rostro. Empero él me dijo: Entiende, hijo del hombre, porque al tiempo se cumplirá la visión.

So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, for the vision belongs to the time of the end.”

Als er aber so zu mir redete, wurde ich ohnmächtig und sank auf mein Angesicht zur Erde nieder; doch er faßte mich an und brachte mich wieder zu aufrechtem Stehen auf meinem Platze.

Y estando él hablando conmigo, caí dormido en tierra sobre mi rostro: y él me tocó, é hízome estar en pie.

Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.

Now as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me and set me upright.

Dann sagte er: »Wisse wohl: ich will dir kundtun, was in der letzten Zeit des Zorns geschehen wird; denn das Gesicht bezieht sich auf die (von Gott) festgesetzte Endzeit.

Y dijo: He aquí yo te enseñaré lo que ha de venir en el fin de la ira: porque al tiempo se cumplirá:

And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

He said, “Behold, I will make you know what will be in the latter time of the indignation, for it belongs to the appointed time of the end.

Der zweihörnige Widder, den du gesehen hast, bedeutet die Könige von Medien und Persien;

Aquel carnero que viste, que tenía cuernos, son los reyes de Media y de Persia.

The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

The ram which you saw, that had the two horns, they are the kings of Media and Persia.

der †zottige Bock aber ist der König von Griechenland; und das große Horn, das sich auf seiner Stirn befindet, ist der erste König.

Y el macho cabrío es el rey de Javán: y el cuerno grande que tenía entre sus ojos es el rey primero.

And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

The rough male goat is the king of Greece. The great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

Daß dann, als es abbrach, vier andere Hörner an seiner Stelle hervorkamen (bedeutet): vier Reiche werden aus seinem Volk hervorgehen, aber ohne die Macht, wie jener sie besaß.

Y que fué quebrado y sucedieron cuatro en su lugar, significa que cuatro reinos sucederán de la nación, mas no en la fortaleza de él.

Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms will stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.

In der letzten Zeit ihrer Herrschaft aber, wenn die Frevler das Maß ihrer Sünden voll machen, wird ein König auftreten frechen Angesichts und ein Meister in Ränken.

Y al cabo del imperio de éstos, cuando se cumplirán los prevaricadores, levantaráse un rey altivo de rostro, y entendido en dudas.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

“In the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king of fierce face, and understanding riddles, will stand up.

Seine Macht wird gewaltig sein, aber nicht durch seine eigene Macht; er wird außerordentliches Unheil anrichten, und seine Unternehmungen werden Erfolg haben; er wird Mächtige und auch das Volk der Heiligen ins Verderben stürzen.

Y su poder se fortalecerá, mas no con fuerza suya; y destruirá maravillosamente, y prosperará; y hará arbitrariamente, y destruirá fuertes y al pueblo de los santos.

And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

His power will be mighty, but not by his own power. He will destroy awesomely, and will prosper in what he does. He will destroy the mighty ones and the holy people.

Infolge seiner Klugheit wird ihm der Trug, mit dem er umgeht, gelingen, und er wird hochmütigen Sinnes werden und viele unversehens zugrunde richten; dann aber, wenn er sich gegen den Fürsten der Fürsten erhoben hat, wird er zerschmettert werden ohne Zutun von Menschenhand.

Y con su sagacidad hará prosperar el engaño en su mano; y en su corazón se engrandecerá, y con paz destruirá á muchos: y contra el príncipe de los príncipes se levantará; mas sin mano será quebrantado.

And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Through his policy he will cause deceit to prosper in his hand. He will magnify himself in his heart, and he will destroy many in their security. He will also stand up against the prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hands.

Und das Gesicht von den Abend-Morgen, das dir mitgeteilt worden ist, das ist zuverlässig; du aber verwahre das Gesicht unter Siegel, denn es bezieht sich auf eine ferne Zeit.«

Y la visión de la tarde y la mañana que está dicha, es verdadera: y tú guarda la visión, porque es para muchos días.

And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

“The vision of the evenings and mornings which has been told is true; but seal up the vision, for it belongs to many days to come.”

Hierauf war ich, Daniel, ganz erschöpft und lag einige Tage krank; dann stand ich zwar wieder auf und versah meinen Dienst beim König, befand mich aber wegen des Gesichts in entsetzlicher Aufregung; da ich es mir nicht erklären konnte.

Y yo Daniel fuí quebrantado, y estuve enfermo algunos días: y cuando convalecí, hice el negocio del rey; mas estaba espantado acerca de la visión, y no había quien la entendiese.

And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick for some days. Then I rose up and did the king’s business. I wondered at the vision, but no one understood it.
