Nós nem quisemos ouvir os seus servos, os profetas, que o Senhor mandou tantas vezes para avisar os nossos reis, príncipes, os nossos antepassados e todo o povo.

No hemos obedecido á tus siervos los profetas, que en tu nombre hablaron á nuestros reyes, y á nuestros príncipes, á nuestros padres, y á todo el pueblo de la tierra.

Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
