Estas son las normas y preceptos que debes asegurarte de seguir todo el tiempo que vivas en la tierra que el Señor, el Dios de tus antepasados, te ha dado para que la poseas.
ESTOS son los estatutos y derechos que cuidaréis de poner por obra, en la tierra que Jehová el Dios de tus padres te ha dado para que la poseas, todos los días que vosotros viviereis sobre la tierra.
These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall observe to do in the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess all the days that you live on the earth.
Debes destruir completamente todos los santuarios paganos donde las naciones que expulsas adoraban a sus dioses: en la cima de las altas montañas, en las colinas y bajo todo árbol verde.
Destruiréis enteramente todos los lugares donde las gentes que vosotros heredareis sirvieron á sus dioses, sobre los montes altos, y sobre los collados, y debajo de todo árbol espeso:
Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
You shall surely destroy all the places in which the nations that you shall dispossess served their gods: on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
Derriba sus altares, derriba sus pilares idólatras, quema sus postes de Asera, y destruye los ídolos de sus dioses. Elimina todas partes cualquier rastro de ellos.
Y derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus imágenes, y sus bosques consumiréis con fuego: y destruiréis las esculturas de sus dioses, y extirparéis el nombre de ellas de aquel lugar.
And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
You shall break down their altars, dash their pillars in pieces, and burn their Asherah poles with fire. You shall cut down the engraved images of their gods. You shall destroy their name out of that place.
No debes adorar al Señor tu Dios de la manera en que ellos lo hacían.
No haréis así á Jehová vuestro Dios.
Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
You shall not do so to the LORD your God.
Sino que debes ir al lugar que el Señor tu Dios elija entre el territorio de todas tus tribus para establecer un lugar donde viva contigo. Allí es donde debes ir.
Mas el lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere de todas vuestras tribus, para poner allí su nombre para su habitación, ése buscaréis, y allá iréis:
But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
But to the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, you shall seek his habitation, and you shall come there.
Llevarás allí tus holocaustos y sacrificios, tus diezmos y todas tus ofrendas, tus ofrendas voluntarias y las ofrendas para cumplir una promesa, junto con los primogénitos de tus rebaños y manadas.
Y allí llevaréis vuestros holocaustos, y vuestros sacrificios, y vuestros diezmos, y la ofrenda elevada de vuestras manos, y vuestros votos, y vuestras ofrendas voluntarias, y los primerizos de vuestras vacas y de vuestras ovejas:
And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
You shall bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, your vows, your free will offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock there.
Allí es donde, en presencia del Señor tu Dios, ustedes y sus familias comerán y celebrarán todo aquello por lo que han trabajado, porque el Señor su Dios los ha bendecido.
Y comeréis allí delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y os alegraréis, vosotros y vuestras familias, en toda obra de vuestras manos en que Jehová tu Dios te hubiere bendecido.
And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
There you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
No deben hacer lo que estamos haciendo aquí hoy. En este momento cada uno hace lo que cree correcto,
No haréis como todo lo que nosotros hacemos aquí ahora, cada uno lo que le parece,
Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
You shall not do all the things that we do here today, every man whatever is right in his own eyes;
porque no han llegado a la tierra que les pertenecerá y que el Señor su Dios les está dando, y donde estarán en paz.
Porque aun hasta ahora no habéis entrado al reposo y á la heredad que os da Jehová vuestro Dios.
For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.
for you haven’t yet come to the rest and to the inheritance which the LORD your God gives you.
Después de que crucen el Jordán y se establezcan en el país que el Señor su Dios les está dando como posesión, y los deje descansar de la lucha contra todos sus enemigos y vivan seguros,
Mas pasaréis el Jordán, y habitaréis en la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os hace heredar, y él os dará reposo de todos vuestros enemigos alrededor, y habitaréis seguros.
But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
But when you go over the Jordan and dwell in the land which the LORD your God causes you to inherit, and he gives you rest from all your enemies around you, so that you dwell in safety,
entonces el Señor su Dios elegirá un lugar donde vivir con ustedes. Allí es donde llevarán todo lo que les he ordenado hacer: sus holocaustos y sacrificios, sus diezmos y ofrendas voluntarias, y todos los regalos especiales que prometan darle al Señor.
Y al lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere para hacer habitar en él su nombre, allí llevaréis todas las cosas que yo os mando: vuestros holocaustos, y vuestros sacrificios, vuestros diezmos, y las ofrendas elevadas de vuestras manos, y todo lo escogido de vuestros votos que hubiereis prometido á Jehová;
Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
then it shall happen that to the place which the LORD your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to the LORD.
Celebrarán allí en presencia del Señor su Dios, ustedes, sus hijos e hijas, sus esclavos y esclavas, y los levitas que viven en sus pueblos, porque no tienen ninguna participación en la asignación de tierras.
Y os alegraréis delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, vosotros, y vuestros hijos, y vuestras hijas, y vuestros siervos, y vuestras siervas, y el Levita que estuviere en vuestras poblaciones: por cuanto no tiene parte ni heredad con vosotros.
And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
You shall rejoice before the LORD your God—you, and your sons, your daughters, your male servants, your female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
Asegúrense de no presentar sus holocaustos donde quieran.
Guárdate, que no ofrezcas tus holocaustos en cualquier lugar que vieres;
Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
Be careful that you don’t offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see;
Sino que los ofrecerás solamente en el lugar que el Señor elija, en el territorio de una de tus tribus. Allí es donde deben hacer todo lo que les ordeno.
Mas en el lugar que Jehová escogiere, en una de tus tribus, allí ofrecerás tus holocaustos, y allí harás todo lo que yo te mando.
But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
but in the place which the LORD chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.
Por supuesto que puedes sacrificar y comer carne donde estés, cuando quieras, dependiendo de cuánto te haya bendecido el Señor tu Dios. Todos ustedes, ya sea que estén ceremonialmente limpios o no, pueden comerla como lo harían con una gacela o un ciervo,
Con todo, podrás matar y comer carne en todas tus poblaciones conforme al deseo de tu alma, según la bendición de Jehová tu Dios que él te habrá dado: el inmundo y el limpio la comerá, como la de corzo ó de ciervo:
Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
Yet you may kill and eat meat within all your gates, after all the desire of your soul, according to the LORD your God’s blessing which he has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer.
pero no deben comer el derramamiento de sangre que hay en el suelo.
Salvo que sangre no comeréis; sobre la tierra la derramaréis como agua.
Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
Only you shall not eat the blood. You shall pour it out on the earth like water.
En sus pueblos no deben comer el diezmo de su grano o del vino nuevo ni del aceite de oliva; o los primogénitos de sus manadas o rebaños, ni ninguna de las ofrendas que hagan para cumplir una promesa, sus ofrendas voluntarias o susofrendas especiales.
Ni podrás comer en tus poblaciones el diezmo de tu grano, ó de tu vino, ó de tu aceite, ni los primerizos de tus vacas, ni de tus ovejas, ni tus votos que prometieres, ni tus ofrendas voluntarias, ni las elevadas ofrendas de tus manos:
Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, or of your new wine, or of your oil, or the firstborn of your herd or of your flock, nor any of your vows which you vow, nor your free will offerings, nor the wave offering of your hand;
Sino que deben comerlos en presencia del Señor su Dios en el lugar que el Señor tu Dios elija: ustedes, sus hijos e hijas, sus esclavos y esclavas y los levitas que viven en sus ciudades. Celebren en presencia del Señor su Dios en todo lo que hagan,
Mas delante de Jehová tu Dios las comerás, en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido, tú, y tu hijo, y tu hija, y tu siervo, y tu sierva, y el Levita que está en tus poblaciones: y alegrarte has delante de Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos.
But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
but you shall eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God shall choose: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates. You shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all that you put your hand to.
y asegúrense de no olvidarse de los levitas durante todo el tiempo que vivan en su tierra.
Ten cuidado de no desamparar al Levita en todos tus días sobre tu tierra.
Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
Be careful that you don’t forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land.
Cuando el Señor su Dios les de más tierra, como prometió, y desees un poco de carne, y digas: “Quiero comer carne”, podrás hacerlo cuando quieras.
Cuando Jehová tu Dios ensanchare tu término, como él te ha dicho, y tú dijeres, Comeré carne, porque deseó tu alma comerla, conforme á todo el deseo de tu alma comerás carne.
When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
When the LORD your God enlarges your border, as he has promised you, and you say, “I want to eat meat,” because your soul desires to eat meat, you may eat meat, after all the desire of your soul.
Si el lugar donde el Señor tu Dios elige está muy lejos, entonces puedes sacrificar cualquier animal del rebaño o manada que te ha dado, siguiendo los preceptos que yo te he dado, y puedes comerlo en tu ciudad cuando quieras.
Cuando estuviere lejos de ti el lugar que Jehová tu Dios habrá escogido, para poner allí su nombre, matarás de tus vacas y de tus ovejas, que Jehová te hubiere dado, como te he mandado yo, y comerás en tus puertas según todo lo que deseare tu alma.
If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
If the place which the LORD your God shall choose to put his name is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock, which the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates, after all the desire of your soul.
De hecho, puedes comerlo como si te comieras una gacela o un ciervo, tanto si estás ceremonialmente limpio como si no, puedes comerlo.
Lo mismo que se come el corzo y el ciervo, así las comerás: el inmundo y el limpio comerán también de ellas.
Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
Even as the gazelle and as the deer is eaten, so you shall eat of it. The unclean and the clean may eat of it alike.
Sólo asegúrate de no comer la sangre, porque la sangre es la vida, y no debes comer la vida con la carne.
Solamente que te esfuerces á no comer sangre: porque la sangre es el alma; y no has de comer el alma juntamente con su carne.
Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
Only be sure that you don’t eat the blood; for the blood is the life. You shall not eat the life with the meat.
No debes comer la sangre; derrámala en el suelo.
No la comerás: en tierra la derramarás como agua.
Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
You shall not eat it. You shall pour it out on the earth like water.
No la comas, para que en todo te vaya bien a ti y a tus hijos, porque harás lo que es correcto ante los ojos del Señor.
No comerás de ella; para que te vaya bien á ti, y á tus hijos después de ti, cuando hicieres lo recto en ojos de Jehová.
Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do that which is right in the LORD’s eyes.
Toma tus santos sacrificios y las ofrendas para cumplir tus votos y ve al lugar que el Señor elija.
Empero las cosas que tuvieres tú consagradas, y tus votos, las tomarás, y vendrás al lugar que Jehová hubiere escogido:
Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:
Only your holy things which you have, and your vows, you shall take and go to the place which the LORD shall choose.
Presenta tus holocaustos, la carne y la sangre, en el altar del Señor tu Dios. La sangre de tus otros sacrificios se derramará junto al altar del Señor tu Dios, pero se te permitirá comer la carne.
Y ofrecerás tus holocaustos, la carne y la sangre, sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios: y la sangre de tus sacrificios será derramada sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios, y comerás la carne.
And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
You shall offer your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on the LORD your God’s altar. The blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the LORD your God’s altar, and you shall eat the meat.
Cumplan todo lo que yo les mando, para que les vaya bien a ustedes y a sus hijos, porque seguirán lo que es bueno y recto ante los ojos del Señor su Dios.
Guarda y escucha todas estas palabras que yo te mando, porque te vaya bien á ti y á tus hijos después de ti para siempre, cuando hicieres lo bueno y lo recto en los ojos de Jehová tu Dios.
Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.
Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the LORD your God’s eyes.
Cuando el Señor tu Dios destruya las naciones que están delante de ti cuando entres en el país para poseerlas, y las expulses y te establezcas en su tierra,
Cuando hubiere devastado delante de ti Jehová tu Dios las naciones á donde tú vas para poseerlas, y las heredares, y habitares en su tierra,
When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
When the LORD your God cuts off the nations from before you where you go in to dispossess them, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
asegúrate de no caer en la trampa de seguir sus caminos después de haber sido destruidos delante de ti. No intentes averiguar sobre sus dioses, preguntando, “¿Cómo adora este pueblo a sus dioses? Haré lo mismo que ellos”.
Guárdate que no tropieces en pos de ellas, después que fueren destruídas delante de ti: no preguntes acerca de sus dioses, diciendo: De la manera que servían aquellas gentes á sus dioses, así haré yo también.
Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
be careful that you are not ensnared to follow them after they are destroyed from before you, and that you not inquire after their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.”
No debes adorar al Señor tu Dios así, porque cuando adoran a sus dioses hacen todo tipo de cosas abominables que el Señor odia. ¡Incluso queman a sus hijos e hijas como sacrificios a sus dioses!
No harás así á Jehová tu Dios; porque todo lo que Jehová aborrece, hicieron ellos á sus dioses; pues aun á sus hijos é hijas quemaban en el fuego á sus dioses.
Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
You shall not do so to the LORD your God; for every abomination to the LORD, which he hates, they have done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
Con toda dedicación, obedezcan todo lo que les ordeno. No añadan ni quiten nada de lo que dicen estas instrucciones.
Cuidaréis de hacer todo lo que yo os mando: no añadirás á ello, ni quitarás de ello.
What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it.
