2Also soll's aber zugehen mit dem Erlaßjahr: wenn einer seinem Nächsten etwas borgte, der soll's ihm erlassen und soll's nicht einmahnen von seinem Nächsten oder von seinem Bruder; denn es heißt das Erlaßjahr des HERRN.

2And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD’s release.

2This is the way it shall be done: every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not require payment from his neighbor and his brother, because the LORD’s release has been proclaimed.
