Deuteronomio 16

Non pervertir la ragione; non aver riguardo alla persona, e non prender presenti; perciocchè il presente accieca gli occhi de' savi, e sovverte le parole de' giusti.

No tuerzas el derecho; no hagas acepción de personas, ni tomes soborno; porque el soborno ciega los ojos de los sabios, y pervierte las palabras de los justos.

Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
