Cuando el Señor Dios tuyo hubiere destruido las naciones, cuya tierra te ha de dar, y tú la poseyeres, y habitares en sus ciudades y casas,
CUANDO Jehová tu Dios talare las gentes, cuya tierra Jehová tu Dios te da á ti, y tú las heredares, y habitares en sus ciudades, y en sus casas;
When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;
When the LORD your God cuts off the nations whose land the LORD your God gives you, and you succeed them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,
separarás tres ciudades en medio del país, cuya posesión te dará el Señor tu Dios.
Te apartarás tres ciudades en medio de tu tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da para que la poseas.
Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
you shall set apart three cities for yourselves in the middle of your land, which the LORD your God gives you to possess.
allanando con cuidado el camino, y dividiendo en tres partes iguales toda la extensión de tu tierra, a fin de que así tenga lugar cercano a donde poder refugiarse quien anda huyendo por razón de homicidio involuntario.
Arreglarte has el camino, y dividirás en tres partes el término de tu tierra, que Jehová tu Dios te dará en heredad, y será para que todo homicida se huya allí.
Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.
You shall prepare the way, and divide the borders of your land which the LORD your God causes you to inherit into three parts, that every man slayer may flee there.
Esta será la ley o calidad del homicida fugitivo, cuya vida debe salvarse: el que hiriere a su prójimo sin advertirlo, y de quien no consta que tuviese el día antes o el otro más allá ningún rencor contra él;
Y este es el caso del homicida que ha de huir allí, y vivirá: el que hiriere á su prójimo por yerro, que no le tenía enemistad desde ayer ni antes de ayer:
And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;
This is the case of the man slayer who shall flee there and live: Whoever kills his neighbor unintentionally, and didn’t hate him in time past—
sino que de buena fe salió, por ejemplo, con él al bosque a cortar leña, y al tiempo de cortarla se le fue el hacha de la mano, y saltando el hierro del mango hirió y mató a su amigo: este se refugiará en una de las sobredichas ciudades y salvará la vida:
Como el que fué con su prójimo al monte á cortar leña, y poniendo fuerza con su mano en el hacha para cortar algún leño, saltó el hierro del cabo, y encontró á su prójimo, y murió; aquél huirá á una de aquestas ciudades, y vivirá;
As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:
as when a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to chop wood and his hand swings the ax to cut down the tree, and the head slips from the handle and hits his neighbor so that he dies—he shall flee to one of these cities and live.
no sea que arrebatado de dolor algún pariente de aquel cuya sangre fue derramada, le persiga y prenda si el camino es muy largo, y le quite la vida; no siendo reo de muerte, puesto que no se prueba que hubiese antes tenido odio alguno contra el muerto.
No sea que el pariente del muerto vaya tras el homicida, cuando se enardeciere su corazón, y le alcance por ser largo el camino, y le hiera de muerte, no debiendo ser condenado á muerte; por cuanto no tenía enemistad desde ayer ni antes de ayer con el muerto.
Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.
Otherwise, the avenger of blood might pursue the man slayer while hot anger is in his heart and overtake him, because the way is long, and strike him mortally, even though he was not worthy of death, because he didn’t hate him in time past.
Por eso te mando yo que repartas las tres ciudades a iguales distancias entre sí.
Por tanto yo te mando, diciendo: Tres ciudades te apartarás.
Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee.
Therefore I command you to set apart three cities for yourselves.
Pero en ensanchando el Señor Dios tuyo tus términos, como lo tiene jurado a tus padres, y en dándote toda la tierra que les prometió
Y si Jehová tu Dios ensanchare tu término, como lo juró á tus padres, y te diere toda la tierra que dijo á tus padres que había de dar;
And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers;
If the LORD your God enlarges your border, as he has sworn to your fathers, and gives you all the land which he promised to give to your fathers;
(con la condición de que guardes sus mandamientos y hagas lo que hoy te mando, esto es, que ames a tu Señor Dios y sigas sus caminos en todo tiempo), añadirás otras tres ciudades a las sobredichas, duplicando así el número de ciudades de refugio:
Cuando guardases todos estos mandamientos, que yo te prescribo hoy, para ponerlos por obra, que ames á Jehová tu Dios y andes en sus caminos todos los días; entonces añadirás tres ciudades á más de estas tres;
If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:
and if you keep all this commandment to do it, which I command you today, to love the LORD your God, and to walk ever in his ways, then you shall add three cities more for yourselves, in addition to these three.
a fin de que no se derrame sangre inocente en medio de la tierra cuya posesión te dará el Señor Dios tuyo; ni tú seas reo de este derramamiento.
Porque no sea derramada sangre inocente en medio de tu tierra, que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad, y sea sobre ti sangre.
That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.
This is so that innocent blood will not be shed in the middle of your land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance, leaving blood guilt on you.
Mas si alguno, por el odio que tiene a su prójimo, armare asechanzas a su vida, y arremetiendo contra él le hiere y matare, huyéndose después a una de las ciudades sobredichas:
Mas cuando hubiere alguno que aborreciere á su prójimo, y lo acechare, y se levantare sobre él, y lo hiriere de muerte, y muriere, y huyere á alguna de estas ciudades;
But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:
But if any man hates his neighbor, lies in wait for him, rises up against him, strikes him mortally so that he dies, and he flees into one of these cities;
los ancianos de la ciudad de él enviarán a sacarle del lugar de asilo; y prendiéndole le entregarán en mano del pariente del muerto, y se le quitará la vida.
Entonces los ancianos de su ciudad enviarán y lo sacarán de allí, y entregarlo han en mano del pariente del muerto, y morirá.
Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

No tendrás lástima de él; y con eso quitarás de en medio de Israel el crimen cometido por la efusión de sangre inocente; a fin de que te vaya prósperamente.
No le perdonará tu ojo: y quitarás de Israel la sangre inocente, y te irá bien.
Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall purge the innocent blood from Israel that it may go well with you.
No te apropiarás, ni traspasarás los lindes de tu prójimo, que fijaron los mayores en tu heredad que te dará el Señor Dios en la tierra de que has de tomar posesión.
No reducirás el término de tu prójimo, el cual señalaron los antiguos en tu heredad, la que poseyeres en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da para que la poseas.
Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which they of old time have set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit, in the land that the LORD your God gives you to possess.
No bastará para condenar a nadie un solo testigo, cualquiera que sea el pecado y el crimen; sino que todo se decidirá por disposición de dos o tres testigos.
No valdrá un testigo contra ninguno en cualquier delito, ó en cualquier pecado, en cualquier pecado que se cometiere. En el dicho de dos testigos, ó en el dicho de tres testigos consistirá el negocio.
One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Si un testigo falso depone contra un hombre, acusándole de prevaricación,
Cuando se levantare testigo falso contra alguno, para testificar contra él rebelión,
If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
If an unrighteous witness rises up against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing,
comparecerán los dos cuya causa se trata ante el Señor en presencia de los sacerdotes y jueces que fueran en aquellos días.
Entonces los dos hombres litigantes se presentarán delante de Jehová, delante de los sacerdotes y jueces que fueren en aquellos días:
Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who shall be in those days;
Y si después de una exacta pesquisa, hallaren que el testigo falso ha dicho mentira contra su hermano,
Y los jueces inquirirán bien, y si pareciere ser aquél testigo falso, que testificó falsamente contra su hermano,
And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

le impondrán la pena que él intentó hacer caer sobre su hermano, y así arrancarás el mal de en medio del pueblo;
Haréis á él como él pensó hacer á su hermano: y quitarás el mal de en medio de ti.
Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
then you shall do to him as he had thought to do to his brother. So you shall remove the evil from among you.
para que oyéndolo los demás entren en temor, y de ningún modo osen hacer tales cosas.
Y los que quedaren oirán, y temerán, y no volverán más á hacer una mala cosa como ésta, en medio de ti.
And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
Those who remain shall hear, and fear, and will never again commit any such evil among you.
No te compadecerás de él: sino que le harás pagar vida por vida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente, mano por mano, pie por pie.
Y no perdonará tu ojo: vida por vida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente, mano por mano, pie por pie.
And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Your eyes shall not pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
