CUANDO fuere hallado en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da para que la poseas, muerto echado en el campo, y no se supiere quién lo hirió,
If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him:

tes anciens et tes juges s'y transporteront, et mesureront la distance jusqu'aux villes situées autour du cadavre.
Entonces tus ancianos y tus jueces saldrán y medirán hasta las ciudades que están alrededor del muerto:
Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain:
then your elders and your judges shall come out, and they shall measure to the cities which are around him who is slain.
La ville la plus rapprochée du cadavre étant déterminée, les anciens de cette ville prendront une jeune vache qu'on n'aura pas encore employée au travail, qui n'aura porté aucun joug.
Y será, que los ancianos de aquella ciudad, de la ciudad más cercana al muerto, tomarán de la vacada una becerra que no haya servido, que no haya traído yugo;
And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;
It shall be that the elders of the city which is nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer of the herd, which hasn’t been worked with and which has not drawn in the yoke.
Ces anciens feront descendre la génisse dans un bas-fond sauvage, où on ne laboure ni ne sème, et là, dans ce bas-fond, ils briseront la nuque à la génisse.

Puis s'avanceront les pontifes, descendants de Lévi; car ce sont eux que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a désignés pour le servir, pour prononcer les bénédictions en son nom, et c'est par eux qu'est jugé tout débat, tout dommage.
Entonces vendrán los sacerdotes hijos de Leví, porque á ellos escogió Jehová tu Dios para que le sirvan, y para bendecir en nombre de Jehová; y por el dicho de ellos se determinará todo pleito y toda llaga.

Et tous les anciens de la ville en question, comme voisins du cadavre, se laveront les mains sur la génisse dont on a brisé la nuque dans le bas-fond.
Y todos los ancianos de aquella ciudad más cercana al muerto lavarán sus manos sobre la becerra degollada en el valle.
And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley:

Et ils diront tour à tour: "Nos mains n'ont point répandu ce sang-là, et nos yeux ne l'ont point vu répandre.

Toi, cependant, tu dois faire disparaître du milieu de toi le sang innocent, si tu veux faire ce qui est juste aux yeux de l'Éternel.
Y tú quitarás la culpa de sangre inocente de en medio de ti, cuando hicieres lo que es recto en los ojos de Jehová.

si tu remarques, dans cette prise, une femme de belle figure, qu'elle te plaise, et que tu la veuilles prendre pour épouse,
Y vieres entre los cautivos alguna mujer hermosa, y la codiciares, y la tomares para ti por mujer,
And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;
and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you are attracted to her, and desire to take her as your wife,
tu l'emmèneras d'abord dans ta maison; elle se rasera la tête et se coupera les ongles,
La meterás en tu casa; y ella raerá su cabeza, y cortará sus uñas,

se dépouillera de son vêtement de captive, demeurera dans ta maison et pleurera son père et sa mère, un mois entier. Alors seulement, tu pourras t'approcher d'elle et avoir commerce avec elle, et elle deviendra ainsi ton épouse.

C'est le fils aîné de la dédaignée qu'il doit reconnaître pour tel, lui attribuant une part double dans tout son avoir; car c'est lui qui est le premier fruit de sa force, à lui appartient le droit d'aînesse.
Mas al hijo de la aborrecida reconocerá por primogénito, para darle dos tantos de todo lo que se hallare que tiene: porque aquél es el principio de su fuerza, el derecho de la primogenitura es suyo.

son père et sa mère se saisiront de lui, le traduiront devant les anciens de sa ville, au tribunal de sa localité,
Entonces tomarlo han su padre y su madre, y lo sacarán á los ancianos de su ciudad, y á la puerta del lugar suyo;
Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

et ils diront aux anciens de la ville: "Notre fils que voici est libertin et rebelle, n'obéit pas à notre voix, s'adonne à la débauche et à l'ivrognerie."
Y dirán á los ancianos de la ciudad: Este nuestro hijo es contumaz y rebelde, no obedece á nuestra voz; es glotón y borracho.
And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

Alors, tous les habitants de cette ville le feront mourir à coups de pierres, et tu extirperas ainsi le vice de chez toi; car tout Israël l'apprendra et sera saisi de crainte.
Entonces todos los hombres de su ciudad lo apedrearán con piedras, y morirá: así quitarás el mal de en medio de ti; y todo Israel oirá, y temerá.

Quand un homme, convaincu d'un crime qui mérite la mort, aura été exécuté, et que tu l'auras attaché au gibet,

And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:

tu ne laisseras pas séjourner son cadavre sur le gibet, mais tu auras soin de l'enterrer le même jour, car un pendu est chose offensante pour Dieu, et tu ne dois pas souiller ton pays, que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne en héritage.
No estará su cuerpo por la noche en el madero, mas sin falta lo enterrarás el mismo día, porque maldición de Dios es el colgado: y no contaminarás tu tierra, que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad.
His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
