Quando um homem tomar uma mulher e se casar com ela, e se ela não encontrar graça aos olhos dele, por haver descoberto alguma coisa vergonhosa a seu respeito, então, escreverá para ela uma carta de divórcio e a entregará em suas mãos, mandando-a embora de sua casa.
CUANDO alguno tomare mujer y se casare con ella, si no le agradare por haber hallado en ella alguna cosa torpe, le escribirá carta de repudio, y se la entregará en su mano, y despedirála de su casa.
When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

então, seu primeiro marido, que a mandou embora, não poderá se casar novamente com essa mulher, depois que ela se tornou impura. Isto seria abominação para Yahweh. Não farás com que a terra se torne culpada; a terra que Yahweh, teu Deus, te dá por herança.
No podrá su primer marido, que la despidió, volverla á tomar para que sea su mujer, después que fué amancillada; porque es abominación delante de Jehová, y no has de pervertir la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad.

Quando um homem tomar uma nova mulher, ele não sairá à guerra com o exército, nem será requisitado para algum dever forçado. Ele estará livre para ficar em casa por um ano, e se alegrará com sua nova mulher.

Atenta sobre qualquer praga de lepra, para observares cuidadosamente, e seguires cada instrução dada a ti, as quais os sacerdotes levitas te ensinaram; como lhes ordenei, assim fareis.

Quando deres a teu vizinho algum tipo de empréstimo, não entrarás em sua casa para tirar-lhe o penhor.
Cuando dieres á tu prójimo alguna cosa emprestada, no entrarás en su casa para tomarle prenda:
When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
When you lend your neighbor any kind of loan, you shall not go into his house to get his pledge.
Ficarás do lado de fora, e o homem a quem emprestaste levará o penhor para ti até o lado de fora.
Fuera estarás, y el hombre á quien prestaste, te sacará afuera la prenda.

Se ele for um homem pobre, tu não dormirás com o penhor dele em tua posse.

Sem falta, tu lhe restituirás o penhor antes do sol se pôr; então, ele poderá dormir em sua roupa e te abençoará. Isto será justiça para ti diante de Yahweh, teu Deus.
Precisamente le devolverás la prenda cuando el sol se ponga, para que duerma en su ropa, y te bendiga: y te será justicia delante de Jehová tu Dios.
In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

Não oprimirás aquele servo que é pobre e necessitado, quer ele seja teu irmão israelita, ou estrangeiro na tua terra e dentro da tua cidade.
No hagas agravio al jornalero pobre y menesteroso, así de tus hermanos como de tus extranjeros que están en tu tierra en tus ciudades:
Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

Cada dia darás a ele o seu salário, antes do pôr do sol, pois ele é pobre e está contando com isso. Faze isto, então, para que ele não clame contra ti a Yahweh, e isto não seja um pecado cometido por ti.

Ao invés disso, trará à memória que tu foste um escravo no Egito, e que Yahweh, teu Deus, de lá te resgatou. Portanto, eu te instruo a obedecer a este mandamento.
Mas acuérdate que fuiste siervo en Egipto, y de allí te rescató Jehová tu Dios: por tanto, yo te mando que hagas esto.

Lembra-te que foste escravo na terra do Egito. Por isso, te instruo a obedecer a este mandamento.
