Deuteronomio 25

Wenn Hader ist unter Männern, so sollen sie zum Gericht herzutreten, auf daß man sie richte, und den Gerechten rechtfertige und den Ungerechten verdamme.

CUANDO hubiere pleito entre algunos, y vinieren á juicio, y los juzgaren, y absolvieren al justo y condenaren al inicuo,

If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

If there is a controversy between men, and they come to judgment and the judges judge them, then they shall justify the righteous and condemn the wicked.

Und es soll geschehen, so der Ungerechte Schläge verdient, der Richter ihn niederfallen lasse, auf daß man ihn schlage vor ihm, an Zahl nach dem Maße seines Unrechts.

Será que, si el delincuente mereciere ser azotado, entonces el juez lo hará echar en tierra, y harále azotar delante de sí, según su delito, por cuenta.

And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.

It shall be, if the wicked man is worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down and to be beaten before his face, according to his wickedness, by number.

Vierzig Schläge gebe man ihm und tue nichts hinzu; auf daß nicht durch weiteres Schlagen der Schläge viel werden, und dein Bruder vor deinen Augen gering geachtet werde.

Harále dar cuarenta azotes, no más: no sea que, si lo hiriere con muchos azotes á más de éstos, se envilezca tu hermano delante de tus ojos.

Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.

He may sentence him to no more than forty stripes. He shall not give more, lest if he should give more and beat him more than that many stripes, then your brother will be degraded in your sight.

Du sollst dem Ochsen, der da drischt, nicht das Maul zubinden.

No pondrás bozal al buey cuando trillare.

Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

You shall not muzzle the ox when he treads out the grain.

Wenn Brüder zusammen wohnen, und einer von ihnen stirbt und hat keinen Sohn, so soll das Weib des Toten nicht draußen eines fremden Mannes werden. Ihr Schwager soll zu ihr eingehen und sie sich zum Weibe nehmen, und ihr Schwagerpflicht leisten.

Cuando hermanos estuvieren juntos, y muriere alguno de ellos, y no tuviere hijo, la mujer del muerto no se casará fuera con hombre extraño: su cuñado entrará á ella, y la tomará por su mujer, y hará con ella parentesco.

If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.

If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the dead shall not be married outside to a stranger. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her, and take her as his wife, and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her.

Und es soll geschehen, daß der Erstgeborene, den sie gebiert, auf den Namen seines toten Bruders erstehe, und sein Name nicht aus Israel ausgewischt werde.

Y será que el primogénito que pariere ella, se levantará en nombre de su hermano el muerto, porque el nombre de éste no sea raído de Israel.

And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.

It shall be that the firstborn whom she bears shall succeed in the name of his brother who is dead, that his name not be blotted out of Israel.

Hat aber der Mann keine Lust, seine Schwägerin zu nehmen, so soll seine Schwägerin hinaufgehen nach dem Tor zu den Ältesten und sprechen: Mein Schwager weigert sich, seinem Bruder einen Namen in Israel aufzurichten; er will mir nicht Schwagerpflicht leisten.

Y si el hombre no quisiere tomar á su cuñada, irá entonces la cuñada suya á la puerta á los ancianos, y dirá: Mi cuñado no quiere suscitar nombre en Israel á su hermano; no quiere emparentar conmigo.

And if the man like not to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.

If the man doesn’t want to take his brother’s wife, then his brother’s wife shall go up to the gate to the elders, and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to raise up to his brother a name in Israel. He will not perform the duty of a husband’s brother to me.”

Und sollen die Ältesten seiner Stadt ihn rufen und zu ihm reden; und so er steht und spricht: Ich habe nicht Lust, sie zu nehmen;

Entonces los ancianos de aquella ciudad lo harán venir, y hablarán con él: y si él se levantare, y dijere, No quiero tomarla,

Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;

Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak to him. If he stands and says, “I don’t want to take her,”

So soll seine Schwägerin vor den Augen der Ältesten zu ihm herzutreten und ihm den Schuh von seinem Fuß ausziehen und ihm ins Gesicht spucken und antworten und sprechen: So tue man dem Manne, der das Haus seines Bruders nicht baut!

Llegaráse entonces su cuñada á él delante de los ancianos, y le descalzará el zapato de su pie, y escupirále en el rostro, y hablará y dirá: Así será hecho al varón que no edificare la casa de su hermano.

Then shall his brother’s wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother’s house.

then his brother’s wife shall come to him in the presence of the elders, and loose his sandal from off his foot, and spit in his face. She shall answer and say, “So shall it be done to the man who does not build up his brother’s house.”

Und sein Name soll in Israel heißen: Des Barfüßlers Haus.

Y su nombre será llamado en Israel: La casa del descalzado.

And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.

His name shall be called in Israel, “The house of him who had his sandal removed.”

Wenn Männer miteinander zanken, ein Mann und sein Bruder, und das Weib des einen naht sich, ihren Mann aus der Hand des Schlagenden zu erretten, und ihre Hand ausreckt und ihn bei seiner Scham faßt;

Cuando algunos riñeren juntos el uno con el otro, y llegare la mujer del uno para librar á su marido de mano del que le hiriere, y metiere su mano y le trabare de sus vergüenzas;

When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:

When men strive against each other, and the wife of one draws near to deliver her husband out of the hand of him who strikes him, and puts out her hand, and grabs him by his private parts,

So sollst du ihr die Hand abschneiden, dein Auge soll nicht schonen.

La cortarás entonces la mano, no la perdonará tu ojo.

Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.

then you shall cut off her hand. Your eye shall have no pity.

Du sollst nicht zweierlei Gewichtsteine in deinem Beutel tragen, einen großen und einen kleinen.

No tendrás en tu bolsa pesa grande y pesa chica.

Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, one heavy and one light.

Du sollst nicht zweierlei Epha, ein großes und ein kleines, in deinem Hause haben.

No tendrás en tu casa epha grande y epha pequeño.

Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.

You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small.

Ganze und gerechte Gewichtsteine sollst du haben; und ein ganzes, gerechtes Epha sollst du haben, auf daß deine Tage verlängert werden auf dem Boden, den Jehovah, dein Gott, dir gibt.

Pesas cumplidas y justas tendrás; epha cabal y justo tendrás: para que tus días sean prolongados sobre la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.

But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just measure, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

Denn ein Greuel ist Jehovah, deinem Gott, ein jeglicher, der solches tut, ein jeglicher, der Verkehrtes tut.

Porque abominación es á Jehová tu Dios cualquiera que hace esto, cualquiera que hace agravio.

For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

For all who do such things, all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to the LORD your God.

Gedenke, was Amalek dir tat auf dem Wege, da du aus Ägypten auszogst.

Acuérdate de lo que te hizo Amalec en el camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto:

Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;

Remember what Amalek did to you by the way as you came out of Egypt,

Wie er dir begegnete auf dem Wege und hinter dir alle Schwächlinge abschnitt, da du matt und müde warst, und er Gott nicht fürch- tete.

Que te salió al camino, y te desbarató la retaguardia de todos los flacos que iban detrás de ti, cuando tú estabas cansado y trabajado; y no temió á Dios.

How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.

how he met you by the way, and struck the rearmost of you, all who were feeble behind you, when you were faint and weary; and he didn’t fear God.

Und es soll geschehen, wenn dann Jehovah, dein Gott, dich zur Ruhe bringt von allen deinen Feinden ringsum in dem Lande, das Jehovah, dein Gott, dir als Erbe gibt, es erblich zu besitzen, sollst du das Andenken Amaleks unter dem Himmel auswischen. Vergiß es nicht.

Será pues, cuando Jehová tu Dios te hubiere dado reposo de tus enemigos alrededor, en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad para que la poseas, que raerás la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo: no te olvides.

Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.

Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky. You shall not forget.
