Dies sind die Worte des Bundes, welchen der HERR dem Mose mit den Kindern Israel zu schließen gebot, in der Moabiter Land; außer dem Bunde, den er mit ihnen am Horeb schloß.
ESTAS son las palabras del pacto que Jehová mandó á Moisés concertara con los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Moab, además del pacto que concertó con ellos en Horeb.

Und der HERR hat euch bis auf den heutigen Tag noch kein verständiges Herz gegeben, Augen, welche sehen, und Ohren, die da hören.

Ihr alle steht heute vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, eure Häupter, eure Stämme, eure Ältesten und eure Amtleute, alle Männer Israels;

eure Kinder, eure Weiber und dein Fremdling, der in deinem Lager ist, deine Holzhauer sowohl als deine Wasserschöpfer:
Vuestros niños, vuestras mujeres, y tus extranjeros que habitan en medio de tu campo, desde el que corta tu leña hasta el que saca tus aguas:
Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:

um einzutreten in den Bund des HERRN, deines Gottes, und in seinen Eid, den der HERR, dein Gott, heute mit dir macht,

auf daß er dich heute einsetze als sein Volk, und daß er dein Gott sei, wie er zu dir geredet, und wie er deinen Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob, geschworen hat.
Para confirmarte hoy por su pueblo, y que él te sea á ti por Dios, de la manera que él te ha dicho, y como él juró á tus padres Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob.
That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Denn ich schließe diesen Bund und diesen Eid nicht mit euch allein,

Denn ihr wisset, wie wir in Ägyptenland gewohnt haben und mitten durch die Völker gezogen sind, wie ihr an ihnen vorüberginget;

und ihr sahet ihre Greuel und ihre Götzen von Holz und Stein, Silber und Gold, die bei ihnen sind.

Darum hütet euch, daß nicht etwa ein Mann oder ein Weib, ein Geschlecht oder ein Stamm unter euch sei, dessen Herz sich heute von dem HERRN, unserm Gott, abwende, und der hingehe, den Göttern dieser Völker zu dienen; daß nicht etwa eine Wurzel unter euch sei, die Gift und Wermut trage;
Quizá habrá entre vosotros varón, ó mujer, ó familia, ó tribu, cuyo corazón se vuelva hoy de con Jehová nuestro Dios, por andar á servir á los dioses de aquellas gentes; quizá habrá en vosotros raíz que eche veneno y ajenjo;
Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
lest there should be among you man, woman, family, or tribe whose heart turns away today from the LORD our God, to go to serve the gods of those nations; lest there should be among you a root that produces bitter poison;
und daß keiner, wenn er die Worte dieses Fluches hört, sich dennoch in seinem Herzen glücklich preise und spreche: «Ich werde Frieden haben, wenn ich schon wandle in der Verstocktheit meines Herzens!»; so daß alsdann weggerafft würde das Getränkte mit dem Durstigen.
Y sea que, cuando el tal oyere las palabras de esta maldición, él se bendiga en su corazón, diciendo: Tendré paz, aunque ande según el pensamiento de mi corazón, para añadir la embriaguez á la sed:
And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
and it happen, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, “I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart,” to destroy the moist with the dry.
Denn der HERR wird nicht geneigt sein, einem solchen zu vergeben, sondern alsdann wird der HERR seinen Zorn und seinen Eifer rauchen lassen über einen solchen Mann, und es werden sich auf ihn alle Flüche legen, die in diesem Buche geschrieben sind; und der HERR wird seinen Namen unter dem Himmel austilgen;
Jehová no querrá perdonarle; antes humeará luego el furor de Jehová y su celo sobre el tal hombre, y asentaráse sobre él toda maldición escrita en este libro, y Jehová raerá su nombre de debajo del cielo:
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

und der HERR wird ihn aus allen Stämmen Israels zum Unglück absondern, gemäß allen Flüchen des Bundes, die in dem Buche dieses Gesetzes geschrieben sind;
Y apartarálo Jehová de todas las tribus de Israel para mal, conforme á todas las maldiciones del pacto escrito en este libro de la ley.
And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

so daß die Nachkommen, eure Kinder, die nach euch aufkommen werden, und die Fremden, die aus fernen Ländern kommen, sagen werden; wenn sie die Plagen dieses Landes und die Krankheiten sehen, welche der HERR demselben auferlegt hat,
Y dirá la generación venidera, vuestros hijos que vendrán después de vosotros, y el extranjero que vendrá de lejanas tierras, cuando vieren las plagas de aquesta tierra, y sus enfermedades de que Jehová la hizo enfermar,
So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;
The generation to come—your children who will rise up after you, and the foreigner who will come from a far land—will say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses with which the LORD has made it sick,
und wie er dieses ganze Land mit Schwefel und Salz verbrannt hat, daß es nicht besät werden kann und nichts hervorbringt, daß nichts Grünes darauf wächst, gleichwie Sodom, Gomorra, Adama und Zeboim umgekehrt worden sind, welche der HERR in seinem Zorn und Grimm umgekehrt hat
(Azufre y sal, abrasada toda su tierra: no será sembrada, ni producirá, ni crecerá en ella hierba ninguna, como en la subversión de Sodoma y de Gomorra, de Adma y de Seboim, que Jehová subvirtió en su furor y en su ira:)
And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
that all of its land is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, doesn’t produce, nor does any grass grow in it, like the overthrow of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath.
ja, alle diese Völker werden fragen: Warum hat der HERR diesem Lande also getan? Was bedeutet dieser gewaltige, grimmige Zorn?
Dirán, pues, todas las gentes: ¿Por qué hizo Jehová esto á esta tierra? ¿qué ira es ésta de tan gran furor?
Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
Even all the nations will say, “Why has the LORD done this to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?”
Dann wird man antworten: Weil sie den Bund des HERRN, des Gottes ihrer Väter, verlassen haben, den er mit ihnen schloß, als er sie aus Ägyptenland führte;
Y responderán: Por cuanto dejaron el pacto de Jehová el Dios de sus padres, que él concertó con ellos cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto,
Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:

und weil sie hingegangen sind und andern Göttern gedient und sie angebetet haben, Göttern, die sie nicht kannten, und die er ihnen nicht zugeteilt hat.
Y fueron y sirvieron á dioses ajenos, é inclináronse á ellos, dioses que no conocían, y que ninguna cosa les habían dado:
For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they didn’t know and that he had not given to them.
Darum entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN über dieses Land, daß er über sie alle Flüche kommen ließ, die in diesem Buche geschrieben sind!
Encendióse por tanto, el furor de Jehová contra esta tierra, para traer sobre ella todas las maldiciones escritas en este libro;
And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:

Und der HERR hat sie aus ihrem Lande verstoßen mit Zorn, Grimm und großer Ungnade und hat sie in ein anderes Land geworfen, wie es heute der Fall ist!
Y Jehová los desarraigó de su tierra con enojo, y con saña, y con furor grande, y los echó á otra tierra, como hoy.

Die Geheimnisse sind des HERRN, unseres Gottes, die geoffenbarten Dinge aber sind für uns und unsere Kinder bestimmt ewiglich, damit wir alle Worte dieses Gesetzes tun.
Las cosas secretas pertenecen á Jehová nuestro Dios: mas las reveladas son para nosotros y para nuestros hijos por siempre, para que cumplamos todas las palabras de esta ley.
The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
