Deuteronomio 2

Poi tornammo indietro e partimmo per il deserto in direzione del mar Rosso, come l’Eterno m’avea detto, e girammo attorno al monte Seir per lungo tempo.

Y VOLVIMOS, y partímonos al desierto camino del mar Bermejo, como Jehová me había dicho; y rodeamos el monte de Seir por muchos días.

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as the LORD spoke to me; and we encircled Mount Seir many days.

E l’Eterno mi parlò dicendo:

Y Jehová me habló, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

The LORD spoke to me, saying,

“Avete girato abbastanza attorno a questo monte; volgetevi verso settentrione.

Harto habéis rodeado este monte; volveos al aquilón.

Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

“You have encircled this mountain long enough. Turn northward.

E da’ quest’ordine al popolo: Voi state per passare i confini de’ figliuoli d’Esaù, vostri fratelli, che dimorano in Seir; ed essi avranno paura di voi; state quindi bene in guardia;

Y manda al pueblo, diciendo: Pasando vosotros por el término de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitan en Seir, ellos tendrán miedo de vosotros; mas vosotros guardaos mucho:

And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

Command the people, saying, ‘You are to pass through the border of your brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore be careful.

non movete lor guerra, poiché del loro paese io non vi darò neppur quanto ne può calcare un piede; giacché ho dato il monte di Seir a Esaù, come sua proprietà.

No os metáis con ellos; que no os daré de su tierra ni aun la holladura de la planta de un pie; porque yo he dado por heredad á Esaú el monte de Seir.

Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

Don’t contend with them; for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for a possession.

Comprerete da loro a danaro contante le vettovaglie che mangerete, e comprerete pure da loro con tanto danaro l’acqua che berrete.

Compraréis de ellos por dinero las viandas, y comeréis; y también compraréis de ellos el agua, y beberéis:

Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

You shall purchase food from them for money, that you may eat. You shall also buy water from them for money, that you may drink.’”

Poiché l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, ti ha benedetto in tutta l’opera delle tue mani, t’ha seguito nel tuo viaggio attraverso questo gran deserto; l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, è stato teco durante questi quarant’anni, e non t’è mancato nulla”.

Pues Jehová tu Dios te ha bendecido en toda obra de tus manos: él sabe que andas por este gran desierto: estos cuarenta años Jehová tu Dios fué contigo; y ninguna cosa te ha faltado.

For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has known your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years, the LORD your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.

Così passammo, lasciando a distanza i figliuoli di Esaù, nostri fratelli, che abitano in Seir, ed evitando la via della pianura, come pure Elath ed Etsion-Gheber. Poi ci voltammo, e c’incamminammo verso il deserto di Moab.

Y pasamos de nuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, por el camino de la llanura de Elath y de Esiongeber. Y volvimos, y pasamos camino del desierto de Moab.

And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

So we passed by from our brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion Geber. We turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

E l’Eterno mi disse: “Non attaccare Moab e non gli muover guerra, poiché io non ti darò nulla da possedere nel suo paese, giacché ho dato Ar ai figliuoli di Lot, come loro proprietà.

Y Jehová me dijo: No molestes á Moab, ni te empeñes con ellos en guerra, que no te daré posesión de su tierra; porque yo he dado á Ar por heredad á los hijos de Lot.

And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

The LORD said to me, “Don’t bother Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give you any of his land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot for a possession.”

(Prima vi abitavano gli Emim: popolo grande, numeroso, alto di statura come gli Anakim.

(Los Emimeos habitaron en ella antes, pueblo grande, y numeroso, y alto como gigantes:

The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

(The Emim lived there before, a great and numerous people, and tall as the Anakim.

Erano anch’essi tenuti in conto di Refaim, come gli Anakim; ma i Moabiti li chiamavano Emim.

Por gigantes eran ellos también contados, como los Anaceos; y los Moabitas los llaman Emimeos.

Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

These also are considered to be Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim.

Anche Seir era prima abitata dagli Horei; ma i figliuoli di Esaù li cacciarono, li distrussero e si stabilirono in luogo loro, come ha fatto Israele nel paese che possiede e che l’Eterno gli ha dato).

Y en Seir habitaron antes los Horeos, á los cuales echaron los hijos de Esaú; y los destruyeron de delante de sí, y moraron en lugar de ellos; como hizo Israel en la tierra de su posesión que les dió Jehová.)

The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

The Horites also lived in Seir in the past, but the children of Esau succeeded them. They destroyed them from before them, and lived in their place, as Israel did to the land of his possession, which the LORD gave to them.)

Ora levatevi, e passate il torrente di Zered”. E noi passammo il torrente di Zered.

Levantaos ahora, y pasad el arroyo de Zered. Y pasamos el arroyo de Zered.

Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

“Now rise up and cross over the brook Zered.” We went over the brook Zered.

Or il tempo che durarono le nostre marce, da Kades-Barnea al passaggio del torrente di Zered, fu di trentotto anni, finché tutta quella generazione degli uomini di guerra scomparve interamente dal campo, come l’Eterno l’avea loro giurato.

Y los días que anduvimos de Cades-barnea hasta que pasamos el arroyo de Zered, fueron treinta y ocho años; hasta que se acabó toda la generación de los hombres de guerra de en medio del campo, como Jehová les había jurado.

And the space in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

The days in which we came from Kadesh Barnea until we had come over the brook Zered were thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the middle of the camp, as the LORD swore to them.

E infatti la mano dell’Eterno fu contro a loro per sterminarli dal campo, finché fossero del tutto scomparsi.

Y también la mano de Jehová fué sobre ellos para destruirlos de en medio del campo, hasta acabarlos.

For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

Moreover the LORD’s hand was against them, to destroy them from the middle of the camp, until they were consumed.

E quando la morte ebbe finito di consumare tutti quegli uomini di guerra,

Y aconteció que cuando se hubieron acabado de morir todos los hombres de guerra de entre el pueblo,

So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

So, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

l’Eterno mi parlò dicendo:

Jehová me habló, diciendo:

That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

the LORD spoke to me, saying,

“Oggi tu stai per passare i confini di Moab, ad Ar, e ti avvicinerai ai figliuoli di Ammon.

Tú pasarás hoy el término de Moab, á Ar,

Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

“You are to pass over Ar, the border of Moab, today.

Non li attaccare e non muover loro guerra, perché io non ti darò nulla da possedere nel paese de’ figliuoli di Ammon, giacché l’ho dato ai figliuoli di Lot, come loro proprietà.

Y te acercarás delante de los hijos de Ammón: no los molestes, ni te metas con ellos; porque no te tengo de dar posesión de la tierra de los hijos de Ammón; que á los hijos de Lot la he dado por heredad.

And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

When you come near the border of the children of Ammon, don’t bother them, nor contend with them; for I will not give you any of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.”

(Anche questo paese era reputato paese di Refaim: prima vi abitavano dei Refaim, e gli Ammoniti li chiamavano Zamzummim:

(Por tierra de gigantes fué también ella tenida: habitaron en ella gigantes en otro tiempo, á los cuales los Ammonitas llamaban Zomzommeos;

(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

(That also is considered a land of Rephaim. Rephaim lived there in the past, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,

popolo grande, numeroso, alto di statura come gli Anakim; ma l’Eterno li distrusse davanti agli Ammoniti, che li cacciarono e si stabilirono nel luogo loro.

Pueblo grande, y numeroso, y alto, como los Anaceos; á los cuales Jehová destruyó de delante de los Ammonitas, quienes les sucedieron, y habitaron en su lugar:

A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

a great people, many, and tall, as the Anakim; but the LORD destroyed them from before Israel, and they succeeded them, and lived in their place,

Così l’Eterno avea fatto per i figliuoli d’Esaù che abitano in Seir, quando distrusse gli Horei davanti a loro; essi li cacciarono e si stabilirono nel luogo loro, e vi son rimasti fino al dì d’oggi.

Como hizo con los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, de delante de los cuales destruyó á los Horeos; y ellos les sucedieron, y habitaron en su lugar hasta hoy.

As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

as he did for the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and lived in their place even to this day.

E anche gli Avvei, che dimoravano in villaggi fino a Gaza, furon distrutti dai Caftorei, usciti da Caftor, i quali si stabilirono nel luogo loro).

Y á los Heveos que habitaban en Haserin hasta Gaza, los Caftoreos que salieron de Caftor los destruyeron, y habitaron en su lugar.)

And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

Then the Avvim, who lived in villages as far as Gaza: the Caphtorim, who came out of Caphtor, destroyed them and lived in their place.)

Levatevi, partite, e passate la valle dell’Arnon; ecco, io do in tuo potere Sihon, l’Amoreo, re di Heshbon, e il suo paese; comincia a prenderne possesso, e muovigli guerra.

Levantaos, partid, y pasad el arroyo de Arnón: he aquí he dado en tu mano á Sehón rey de Hesbón, Amorrheo, y á su tierra: comienza á tomar posesión, y empéñate con él en guerra.

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

“Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

Oggi comincerò a ispirare paura e terrore di te ai popoli che sono sotto il cielo intero, sì che, all’udire la tua fama, tremeranno e saranno presi d’angoscia dinanzi a te”.

Hoy comenzaré á poner tu miedo y tu espanto sobre los pueblos debajo de todo el cielo; los cuales oirán tu fama, y temblarán, y angustiarse han delante de ti.

This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole sky, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.”

Allora mandai ambasciatori dal deserto di Kedemoth a Sihon, re di Heshbon, con parole di pace, e gli feci dire:

Y envié mensajeros desde el desierto de Cademoth á Sehón rey de Hesbón, con palabras de paz, diciendo:

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

“Lasciami passare per il tuo paese; io camminerò per la strada maestra, senza volgermi né a destra né a sinistra.

Pasaré por tu tierra por el camino: por el camino iré, sin apartarme á diestra ni á siniestra:

Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

“Let me pass through your land. I will go along by the highway. I will turn neither to the right hand nor to the left.

Tu mi venderai a danaro contante le vettovaglie che mangerò, e mi darai per danaro contante l’acqua che berrò; permettimi semplicemente il transito

La comida me venderás por dinero, y comeré: el agua también me darás por dinero, y beberé: solamente pasaré á pie;

Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink. Just let me pass through on my feet,

(come m’han fatto i figliuoli d’Esaù che abitano in Seir e i Moabiti che abitano in Ar), finché io abbia passato il Giordano per entrare nel paese che l’Eterno, il nostro Dio, ci dà”.

Como lo hicieron conmigo los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, y los Moabitas que habitaban en Ar; hasta que pase el Jordán á la tierra que nos da Jehová nuestro Dios.

(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar, did to me, until I pass over the Jordan into the land which the LORD our God gives us.”

Ma Sihon, re di Heshbon, non ci volle lasciar passare per il suo paese, perché l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, gli aveva indurato lo spirito e reso ostinato il cuore, per dartelo nelle mani, come difatti oggi si vede.

Mas Sehón rey de Hesbón no quiso que pasásemos por el territorio suyo; porque Jehová tu Dios había endurecido su espíritu, y obstinado su corazón para entregarlo en tu mano, como hoy.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him, for the LORD your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.

E l’Eterno mi disse: “Vedi, ho principiato a dare in tuo potere Sihon e il suo paese; comincia la conquista, impadronendoti dei suo paese”.

Y díjome Jehová: He aquí yo he comenzado á dar delante de ti á Sehón y á su tierra; comienza á tomar posesión, para que heredes su tierra.

And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

The LORD said to me, “Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you. Begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.”

Allora Sihon uscì contro a noi con tutta la sua gente, per darci battaglia a Iahats.

Y saliónos Sehón al encuentro, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Jaas.

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz.

E l’Eterno, l’Iddio nostro, ce lo diè nelle mani, e noi ponemmo in rotta lui, i suoi figliuoli e tutta la sua gente.

Mas Jehová nuestro Dios lo entregó delante de nosotros; y herimos á él y á sus hijos, y á todo su pueblo.

And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

The LORD our God delivered him up before us; and we struck him, his sons, and all his people.

E in quel tempo prendemmo tutte le sue città e votammo allo sterminio ogni città, uomini, donne, bambini; non vi lasciammo anima viva.

Y tomamos entonces todas sus ciudades, y destruimos todas las ciudades, hombres, y mujeres, y niños; no dejamos ninguno:

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

We took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones. We left no one remaining.

Ma riserbammo come nostra preda il bestiame e le spoglie delle città che avevamo prese.

Solamente tomamos para nosotros las bestias, y los despojos de las ciudades que habíamos tomado.

Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

Only the livestock we took for plunder for ourselves, with the plunder of the cities which we had taken.

Da Aroer, che è sull’orlo della valle dell’Arnon e dalla città che è nella valle, fino a Galaad, non ci fu città che fosse troppo forte per noi: l’Eterno, l’Iddio nostro, le diè tutte in nostro potere.

Desde Aroer, que está junto á la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en el arroyo, hasta Galaad, no hubo ciudad que escapase de nosotros: todas las entregó Jehová nuestro Dios en nuestro poder.

From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us. The LORD our God delivered up all before us.

Ma non ti avvicinasti al paese de’ figliuoli di Ammon, ad alcun posto toccato dal torrente di Iabbok, alle città del paese montuoso, a tutti i luoghi che l’Eterno, il nostro Dio, ci avea proibito d’attaccare.

Solamente á la tierra de los hijos de Ammón no llegaste, ni á todo lo que está á la orilla del arroyo de Jaboc ni á las ciudades del monte, ni á lugar alguno que Jehová nuestro Dios había prohibido.

Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.

Only to the land of the children of Ammon you didn’t come near: all the banks of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the LORD our God forbade us.
