y les dijo después: Yo me hallo hoy día en la edad de ciento veinte años: no puedo ya continuar en ser vuestro caudillo, mayormente habiéndome dicho el señor: Tú no has de pasar ese río Jordán.
Y díjoles: De edad de ciento y veinte años soy hoy día; no puedo más salir ni entrar: á más de esto Jehová me ha dicho: No pasarás este Jordán.
And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
He said to them, “I am one hundred twenty years old today. I can no more go out and come in. The LORD has said to me, ‘You shall not go over this Jordan.’
Mas el Señor Dios tuyo, ¡oh Israel!, irá delante de ti: él deshará a tu vista todas esas naciones, y las conquistarás; y este Josué pasará delante de ti, como lo tiene dicho el Señor;
Jehová tu Dios, él pasa delante de ti; él destruirá estas gentes de delante de ti, y las heredarás: Josué será el que pasará delante de ti, como Jehová ha dicho.
The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.

y hará Dios con ellas lo mismo que hizo con Sehón y con Og, reyes de los amorreos, y con sus reinos, y las exterminará.
Y hará Jehová con ellos como hizo con Sehón y con Og, reyes de los Amorrheos, y con su tierra, que los destruyó.
And the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.

Así pues, cuando también os hubiere entregado estas naciones, haréis con ellas otro tanto, según os tengo mandado.

And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.

Portaos varonilmente, y con firmeza; no temáis, ni os amedrentéis a su vista: porque el Señor Dios tuyo él mismo es, ¡oh Israel!, tu caudillo, y no te dejará ni te desamparará.
Esforzaos y cobrad ánimo; no temáis, ni tengáis miedo de ellos: que Jehová tu Dios es el que va contigo: no te dejará ni te desamparará.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”
Después de esto llamó Moisés a Josué, y le dijo delante de todo Israel: Ten buen ánimo, y cobra aliento; porque tú has de introducir a este pueblo en la tierra que el Señor prometió con juramento a sus padres, y tú se la repartirás por suertes.
Y llamó Moisés á Josué, y díjole á vista de todo Israel: Esfuérzate y anímate; porque tú entrarás con este pueblo á la tierra que juró Jehová á sus padres que les había de dar, y tú se la harás heredar.
And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

Y el Señor que es vuestro caudillo, él mismo será contigo: no te dejará ni te desamparará: no temas, ni te amedrentes.
Y Jehová es el que va delante de ti; él será contigo, no te dejará, ni te desamparará; no temas, ni te intimides.
And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
The LORD himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.”
Escribió, pues, Moisés esta ley, y se la entregó a los sacerdotes, hijos de Leví, que llevaban el Arca del Testimonio del Señor, y a todos los ancianos de Israel.
Y escribió Moisés esta ley, y dióla á los sacerdotes, hijos de Leví, que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, y á todos los ancianos de Israel.

cuando se juntan todos los israelitas para presentarse ante el Señor tu Dios, en el lugar escogido por el Señor, leerás las palabras de esta ley en presencia de todo Israel, que las oirá atentamente;
Cuando viniere todo Israel á presentarse delante de Jehová tu Dios en el lugar que él escogiere, leerás esta ley delante de todo Israel á oídos de ellos.
When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

haciendo tú congregar a todo el pueblo, así hombres como mujeres y niños y los extranjeros que moran en tus ciudades: para que escuchándolas aprendan, y teman al Señor Dios vuestro, y guarden y cumplan todas las palabras de esta ley;
Harás congregar el pueblo, varones y mujeres y niños, y tus extranjeros que estuvieren en tus ciudades, para que oigan y aprendan, y teman á Jehová vuestro Dios, y cuiden de poner por obra todas las palabras de esta ley:
Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and the foreigners who are within your gates, that they may hear, learn, fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law,
y a fin también de que sus hijos, que ahora están ignorantes de ella, puedan aprenderla, y reverencien al Señor Dios suyo todos los días que vivan en la tierra de que vais a tomar posesión, pasado el Jordán.
Y los hijos de ellos que no supieron oigan, y aprendan á temer á Jehová vuestro Dios todos los días que viviereis sobre la tierra, para ir á la cual pasáis el Jordán para poseerla.
And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

Dijo entonces el Señor a Moisés: Mira, ha llegado ya el día de tu muerte: llama a Josué, y presentaos los dos en el Tabernáculo del Testimonio, para que le dé mis órdenes. Fueron, pues, Moisés y Josué, y se presentaron en el Tabernáculo del Testimonio,
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: He aquí se han acercado tus días para que mueras: llama á Josué, y esperad en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y le mandaré. Fueron pues Moisés y Josué, y esperaron en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
The LORD said to Moses, “Behold, your days approach that you must die. Call Joshua, and present yourselves in the Tent of Meeting, that I may commission him.” Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting.
donde se apareció el Señor en la columna de nube, la cual se fijó en la entrada del Tabernáculo.
Y aparecióse Jehová en el tabernáculo, en la columna de nube; y la columna de nube se puso sobre la puerta del tabernáculo.

Y dijo el Señor a Moisés: He aquí que tú vas a descansar con tus padres; y ese pueblo se rebelará y prostituirá a dioses ajenos en la tierra en que va a entrar para morar en ella: allí me abandonará, y quebrantará el pacto que tengo con él concertado;
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: He aquí tú vas á dormir con tus padres, y este pueblo se levantará y fornicará tras los dioses ajenos de la tierra adonde va, en estando en medio de ella; y me dejará, é invalidará mi pacto que he concertado con él:
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
The LORD said to Moses, “Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers. This people will rise up and play the prostitute after the strange gods of the land where they go to be among them, and will forsake me and break my covenant which I have made with them.
con lo cual se encenderá mi furor contra él en aquel día; y lo abandonaré y esconderé de él mi rostro, y será consumido; todos los males y aflicciones caerán sobre él en tanto grado, que dirá en aquel día: Verdaderamente que por no estar Dios conmigo, me han acontecido estos males.
Y mi furor se encenderá contra él en aquel día; y los abandonaré, y esconderé de ellos mi rostro, y serán consumidos; y le hallarán muchos males y angustias, y dirá en aquel día: ¿No me han hallado estos males porque no está mi Dios en medio de mí?
Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

Pero yo entonces esconderé de él y le ocultaré mi rostro, a causa de todas las maldades que habrá hecho, por haber seguido a dioses ajenos.

Por tanto escribíos ahora este cántico, y enseñádselo a los hijos de Israel, para que le tomen de memoria y le canten; y este cántico me sirva de testimonio entre los hijos de Israel.

Porque yo los introduciré en una tierra que mana leche y miel, la que prometí con juramento a sus padres. Mas ellos cuando habrán comido, y se hayan hartado y engrosado, se pasarán a los dioses ajenos y los servirán, y blasfemarán de mí, y quebrantarán mi pacto.

Y cuando habrán sobrevenido a Israel muchos males y desastres, entonces este cántico dará contra él testimonio; cántico que estará en la boca de sus hijos, de suerte que jamás será olvidado. Porque bien sé yo sus pensamientos, y hoy sé lo que ha de hacer, antes que le introduzca en la tierra que le tengo prometida.
Y será que cuando le vinieren muchos males y angustias, entonces responderá en su cara este cántico como testigo, pues no caerá en olvido de la boca de su linaje: porque yo conozco su ingenio, y lo que hace hoy antes que le introduzca en la tierra que juré.
And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.
It will happen, when many evils and troubles have come on them, that this song will testify before them as a witness; for it will not be forgotten out of the mouths of their descendants; for I know their ways and what they are doing today, before I have brought them into the land which I promised them.”
Escribió, pues, Moisés el cántico siguiente, y lo enseñó a los hijos de Israel.

Al mismo tiempo dio el Señor sus órdenes a Josué, hijo de Nun, y le dijo: Ten buen ánimo, y cobra aliento, porque tú has de introducir a los hijos de Israel en la tierra que les prometí, y yo seré contigo.

Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

Porque yo conozco tu obstinación y tu indómita cerviz. Aun viviendo yo y conversando con vosotros, siempre os habéis portado con rebeldía contra el Señor: ¿cuánto más en habiendo yo muerto?

Juntadme a todos los ancianos de vuestras tribus y a los doctores; y oirán las palabras que les voy a hablar, e invocaré contra ellos al cielo y a la tierra.
Congregad á mí todos los ancianos de vuestras tribus, y á vuestros oficiales, y hablaré en sus oídos estas palabras, y llamaré por testigos contra ellos los cielos y la tierra.
Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.

Que bien sé yo que después de mi muerte os portaréis perversamente, y os desviaréis presto del camino que os he enseñado; y que os sobrevendrán desdichas en los últimos tiempos, cuando habréis pecado delante del Señor, irritándolo con las obras de vuestras manos.
